I like the ease of getting the primary data into origin. The ability to send an OM through an email and it appear in my pipeline saves me a lot of time. This helps me to make sure I am not forgetting about a deal and also lets me revisit deals that we have passed on. Customer service and integration have always been great and responsive. There are many data points that are not automatically filled in and can be cumbersome to get ALL the data points in the system. (although there is no requirement to input all the points). They have updated their reporting function but it could still be a little more user friendly. sometimes i find myself clicking through multiple screens to find what I am looking for. Origin provides a seamless environment to track and monitor all ongoing acquisition opportunities. It is very convenient to re-surface all old deals and aggregate portfolio data for decision making.
