What I liked most was the online cloud integration, the ability to share projects, final files or resource copy along with project version control.

Also on the big plus side is the component database and its management from the organization's administrator, online statistics and much more.

The tool is well ahead of its competitors offering, for example: cloud-based solutions, team management with individual functions for given users, version and access control, tasks with collaboration, or a contemporary-looking and well-functioning GUI.

Altium provides all the tools needed to design complex PCBAs all in one package. I like how centralized all the features are and the interface. You can do part/library creation, schematic capture, and PCB layout all in one tool, which facilitates both design as well as other tasks, like board review or debugging a boad/bringup. It's collaboration features and product searches. The ability for my team members to work on it on their own and simply push to service allowed us to extend our work from meetings. I do believe that there is a slight learning curve with altium. Whenever onboarding new teammates, I did have to take time to teach them all about it and be there while they try to adapt. Also, it has an user-friendly interface with customizable workspaces that streamline the design process. Personally I like that it has an excellent integration with mechanical CAD tools, particularly SolidWorks, for ECAD-MCAD collaboration.
