AlmaLinux8 security updates available at the release date are included as well. This Alma Linux 8 AMI is optimized for AWS EC2 with cloud-init support, hardened security, and rapid boot performance. It's an ideal choice for production servers, web hosting, LAMP/LEMP stacks, CMS platforms, SQL and NoSQL databases, and RESTful API deployments.
