It seems to be the easiest program to have integrated office-wide. **What do you dislike about Alexi?** It can take time to generate an answer, which is not a drawback for me but may be frustrating for some. I am slowly learning the platform to eliminate the frustrations I bumped into. We use it to produce an initial skeleton for all of our litigation cases now. **What do you dislike about Alexi?** The price is kind of high and it could have better word integration. Helps me verify outputs from other AI models. Helps me "bulletproof" my arguments by poking holes prior to submission. ### 8. Implementation/integration is immediate since it's a web app. Customer support is extremely responsive and willing to customize solutions. I use it daily. It's very good at producing a legal memo that a very strong associate lawyer would produce at a law firm - perfect for one-off questions that I want to ask external counsel but either need the answer quickly or the legal spend is not justified. **What do you dislike about Alexi?** Workflows are not customizable by the user (yet). **What problems is Alexi solving and how is that benefiting you?** one-off legal research questions; answering follow up questions to advice given by external counsel; quickly summarizing case law; contract risk analysis - reducing internal legal time and external legal spend ### 9. The hyperlinks to the authorities and pinpoint references make it very easy to check the veracity of the quote/proposition. Alexi also does a good job extracting relevant information from uploaded documents. It does all of this at a much lower price than comparable products from larger providers. **What do you dislike about Alexi?** As with all AI tools, there are occasional 'hallucinations.' This is not the type of hallucination you often read about, where non-existent cases are manufactured, but citing a case for a proposition that the case does not exactly stand for. Because of the pinpoint citations, these are very easy to spot and Alexi saves me an enormous amount of time. **What problems is Alexi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lightening quick responses to legal research questions and synthesizing of large volumes of information. ### 10. The product has continued to improve over time. Initially, it prepared legal research memos only. It still produces legal research memos, but the quality of the memos has greatly improved. Alexi now allows users to upload documents and to ask questions/prepare answers based on the uploaded documents (for example, to prepare a chronology). Alexi has become an almost invaluable part of my practice that I use virtually every day. I consider it to be a high-quality ChatGPT interface to answer all forms of legal questions. **What do you dislike about Alexi?** Like all AI tools, it is not perfect. You need to check results but it will almost always point you in the right direction. It is a cost-effective way to supplement our firm's Student Program. The great thing about Alexi is that it has been designed in a purposeful way to not become a threat to the future of lawyers. Rather, it has been built as a tool to keep the lawyer in the driver's seat of their particular matter to determine what questions need to be answered. We've been working with Alexi for several years and our team absolutely loves the product. Personally, I would highly recommend any lawyer to give Alexi a try. The cost per memo is negligible, dispursable and worthy of the thought experiment. Like us, I'm confident that you'd be a repeat customer once you see the time that you and your team can save. After all, in our business, time is money! **What do you dislike about Alexi?** One pain point that I initially had about Alexi was that it only provided legal research memos. With natural language models and AI this powerful, why limit the product set to only memos? I am beyond excited to try the new Alexi product - Arguments - which is set to launch September 2023 to see how the memos that are produced can pair with the Arguments product. The cool thing I like about the Arguments product is that the lawyer is still in the driver's seat. This is of critical importance in my opinion as no logical lawyer is going to support a product that makes them obsolete! Alas, I digress. So, my understanding of Arguments from the product demos is that the lawyer is able to submit prompt sets that the AI uses to recommend different heads of legal arguments that would be applicable with supporting authorities! Now this is powerful stuff right here. Cannot wait to take this for a test drive. **What problems is Alexi solving and how is that benefiting you?** Alexi is effectively selling efficiency. It delivers accurate legal research at a fraction of the cost & it's completely dispursable.
