**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

I like that AlayaCare is convenient and well laid out. They continuously implement new improvements and have the UAT environment. I appreciate the Zendesk support and the community aspect, which is really helpful. It's interesting to see how others might do things differently from our organization. As we continue to grow, we want to utilize AlayaCare for different approaches to scheduling and services. I also like the community and suggestions feature because if someone else has similar needs, it could be something that AlayaCare works on.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

I find it challenging to connect with a manager or someone for help when I need clarification or during a learning session with AlayaCare. There's a lot in the back end that we don't see, making it difficult. Sometimes implementation takes a long time, or there are changes within the AlayaCare team, like a person I'm working with changing positions or leaving. The initial setup was complicated due to the need for back end structure, requiring a lot of data input, and things sometimes not triggering right away because of issues with the system settings.

I use AlayaCare to streamline scheduling and care plan management, centralizing documentation and reducing paper use. It provides support at my fingertips and simplifies billing, reporting, and client monitoring.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

I love their innovation; they’re always using new technology and tools to keep customers up to date. Their customer service is also spot-on; A+!

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

I really don’t have many dislikes about the software. I’m excited to see what additional AI connectors are launched this year; my only issue is that they aren’t being released fast enough.

**What problems is AlayaCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem:
Subcontracted nursing activities were scattered across multiple systems, along with emails, PDFs, and manual processes. As a result, communication was fragmented, updates were missed, referral coordination was inefficient, and notes or invoices were sometimes lost or delayed.

How AlayaCare Solves It:
The AlayaCare Marketplace brings subcontracted nursing into a single shared platform. It enables CSI to offer new referrals directly within the system, sync upcoming visits and scheduling, communicate through secure messaging, and receive notes and invoices all in one place.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

Whenever issues come up, it’s easy and quick to get them resolved through tech support. I also like that new features are being added faster than competitors, so the product keeps improving at a good pace.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

The pricing. The price increases are out of control. Most competitors I looked into are 45 to 65% cheaper. These are platforms with very similar features. Adding different fields to screens is very limited. More freedome to add and remove from client and employee screens should be allowed.

The mobile platform has been improved to make it quicker and easier to clock in/out and to leave notes.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

I like that AlayaCare is a local Canadian company. Their AC Community feature works really well, allowing you to post challenges or solutions you've found while using the platform. It also gives you a chance to ask others using the platform for advice and guidance. (Review provided in exchange for financial compensation)

I find the reliability of AlayaCare to be an issue, as it goes down a lot. While they claim it's an all-in-one system, integration is lacking because many aspects like HR and Client Assessments remain siloed outside of AlayaCare. There's no easy way to retrieve live staff location updates and changes are frequently made outside of scheduled or unannounced timelines. (Review provided in exchange for financial compensation)

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

I like the process of being able to review forms after the nurses complete them. I also appreciate the ability to fax over any of the plans of treatment, CMMs, that are required by our state to be sent to the doctors and faxed back. Additionally, I like that the billing process is a verification that works seamlessly with our current system, our EMR system. The initial setup went fairly seamlessly, and once all the forms were set in place and ready to go, everything was good. We received a lot of support from AlayaCare throughout the setup process.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

The only issue we currently have is New York State requires us to include a copy of our medication profile with our faxed plan of treatment and we have no way to do that at this time. Nurses have to enter the medication profile into our EMR system, as well as put it onto the actual plan of treatment form. And that then we can individually fax those forms. So it's causing double work.

I use AlayaCare for live documentation, which keeps nurses up to date without extra hours, and it shortens the requirement process for state compliance.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

I like that AlayaCare is easy to train our nurses on. The scheduling feature is its best selling point, and I appreciate the user-friendly format in the app version. It is easy to teach someone who has never used the software before how to use it, and it makes sure all patient info and nurse's schedules are in one central place.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

There are many features we were sold in the beginning that did not come to fruition, or at least not right away. There are even still some features we don't fully know how to use. The initial setup was extremely annoying and hard, and it did not feel like we were set up for success.

AlayaCare mainly solves scheduling and centralizes patient information, making it easy to train new nurses and keep all data in one place.

Notifications are not sent to the user when a visit offer is accepted or declined. In addition, notifications are not sent when marketplace offers are accepted or declined.

From a case manager perspective, I am unaware of any problems that AC is solving.

I can see the value AlayaCare offers, however, some of the work flows are not the best solution for our processes but the team is always more than willing to help us create a solution.

We tranisitioned to AlayaCare from on IVR only platform, and it has truly revolutionized how we are able to schedule, staff, communicate, and generally control our non-medical senior homecare business.

Their base platform includes a lot of different items, which are part of what makes up their base price, that we don't utilize. It feels as though sometimes we aren't always getting what we pay for

nothing at all. some extra options to code your own folders for staff profiles would be nice though

it helps us with our scheduling for our clients and staff as well as inputting all the proper information for staff and clients in one space. It is very user friendly and there are so many features that can be used within it and they help with the homecare company for every aspect!

It enabled our agency to do away with paper charting. Online is so much easier. No more monthly shredding party's. We were able to get tweaks to meet our needs.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

Loss of phone signal occasionally meant lost charting. This occurs very infrequently.  But necessitates temporary paper backup of medication lot numbers, expiration dates, and vital signs until the document is successfully submitted.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

Scheduling in AlayaCare is great. The ability manage clients and their services is quite robust and solid, their customer support is also solid, although occasionally feeling dismissive.  I wasn't around for implementation or integration with other systems, but that element seemed quite doable from what I hear from others. Using AlayaCare daily is a decent ecperience for me.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

The recently introduced monthly updates from quarterly updates cause a lot of frustration as an admin. Often there are very minimal new relevant features for our organisation, but there are always new issues introduced that causes issues and annoyances for me and other users. Because it's monthly, I feel like I'm constantly playing catchup with update notes as well as the aformentioned issues that pop up.
Additionally, there is minimal clinical features in it compared to similar systems, this has caused a lot of frustration for our clinical governance team.

AlayaCare has helped us with client management as well as scheduling and service management. Other employees who were around for our previous system tend to be happy with this solution.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

I like how you can add employee profile details for the clients to see within their Family Portal app, we have a neighbourhood model approach with our clients and so creating personal information about our staff for the clients to read, along with the employees photo provides a personal touch for both the client and the family. The Family portal allows clients and their families to view and manage their own schedules.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

Once the system has been deployed there is little oportunity to get enhacement features added other than posting on their community board and hoping it will generate enough votes to have it added to their roadmap. That the requiries us to constantly view the community board to vote on other suggestions submitted.

AlayaCare is our Home and Community Care client management system, it also is used for our staff rostering and task management system.

-AlayaCare is a good data base managment software
-Cleint Services and Staff shifts scheduling functions are fantastic
-It's very easy to use for Care Managment and Care Planning.
-Continous improvement with regular software updates
-The more we learn about the software functions, the easier it gets to manage our clients' services

-No traditional Manual for beginers which  is difficult for our new users. 
-Not a finacial software, so we have to use other fianncial softwares to support the billing which may be consufing when setting up.
- Hard to to keep up with their software updates for all users in differnet roles within organistaion.
-The process to figure out the error occurred is stressful, it takes time to have Support team to come back with solution/fix.
-To set up and generate reports (Data Exploration) required great upderstanding of software and some knowledge of Excel formula,  it's not a easy task to utilise by every user.

AlayaCare provided great fuctions in Cleints services scehduling and Staff rostering.  Also, it makes client's Care Managment much easier under cloud  based data managemnt.  it is more produtive for our Rostering team and Case Managers' works. **What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

Streamlines the process to access pt info from admin to nurses out in the field. Like the overviews of all schedules; ease of managing pt visits is great. Customer support responds promptly. New marketplace is user friendly.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

Not able to use to its full potential. For example uploading documentation from firld visits to admin is a longer process & not legible so its a key funtion not being used. Running any type of report is a complicated process, should have a field tab for ease instead. Kinks like if I enter in a nurses vacation time it should block them off of offers otherwise there is no point in adding that if i have to keep track of those things manually on a calender /list to not have them getting notifications while on vacation. I would like to be able to remove a nurse from an offer without haveing to resend the whole thing again. a lot of responses to conserns are "its a glitch in the system"

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

AlayaCare is a fairly robus tool which allows scheudlers/supervisor to communicate with front line employees. The Android App is a great tool and farily inexpensive (miniumial cell phone requirments) way for fornt line employees to acccess client data, scehdules, and clock in/out of visit for payroll purposes.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

AlayaCare is slow to correct/fix issues in a timely manner. They releases monthly updates which appears to be a good feature but these regularly cause issues with existing features and it is difficult to have these items troubleshooted and corrected/fixed in a timely manner. The help desk is quick to receive and review your helpdesk items but it usually takes at least 1-2 months or longer to correct/fix these issues.
AlayaCare's accounting features/fuctions (especially Accounts Receivable) is weaker than other similar software.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

I like how the system is super simple to use. It makes scheduling a breeze and sending shift offers to multiple caregivers at a time is quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

I'm not fond of the reporting feature. It takes to long to update after making a change. The Data Exploration 2.0 feature is too difficult. You have to learn how to create your own reports which is a bit extensive and the training given is very basic. Even a well seasoned IT tech would need a thorough walk through to create reports.

We're able to see in real-time what time caregivers arrive and leave. It's eliminating paperwork.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

One of the most valuable assets about Alayacare is the financial portion and the charting. Billing and charting has become so much more simple and efficient verses our old EMR system. Additionally, I really appreciate meeting with my account representative on a weekly basis to review projects, brainstorm solutions, or enhancements. The high level of customer support is extremely appreciated and gives us a sense of validity.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

Alayacare is created for organizations with W2 employees. While our agency holds W2 employees, we have a larger ratio of 1099 contractors that work with us. This affects the operations of our workflows. While we have used what we could from Alayacare, we still find ourselves having to create a new workflow that better fits our needs when it comes to 1099 contractors. This includes workflows for offers and payment reimbursement. There is also room to grow in servicing U.S. clients better. We as a U.S. client use specific verbiage and operational flow contrasting to Canadian clients. It would be nice if Alayacare was a bit more universal fulfilling those specific U.S. client needs.

Operational and financial aspects. As previously mentioned, Alayacare is offering solutions to better benefits operational workflow. In terms of finance, it is assisting in creating and tracking financial reports. This helps keep our finances organized to better maintain our company's finanical health.

Great product, that have multiple features that many other rostering solutions don't have. The software has significantly stabilised and developed in the past years. Alayacare team is leading research and development of multiple midules and we are benefiting from their products updates.

Occasionally support team takes longer to respond. Features development can take long time.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

The connectivity of Alayacare is very nice, the website, the app, the emails, it offers a very nice package for communicating with your staff. Customer support has been very good, when you've got a bug and submit a ticket they will respond within the day and usually the bug is resolved within a couple days.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

It's not 100% designed for our type of business so sometimes it gets awkward making some of our programs work in it. Further as you can't delete a lot of things it can be easy to end up with a glut of things that you just have to ignore because you can't hide them.  On slower internet connections the site can take a long time to load or not load properly.

**What problems is AlayaCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The app to deliver schedules to our employees automatically is very nice. I've been able to use the side platform alayaconnector to automate some things that are great for managing clients and schedules. Having easy direct access to permissions to setup each employee role is good as well. The report building feature is very robust, it could some tweaking but it can do quite a lot.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

What I found most helpful was the ability to customize about 90% of what we wanted. This allowed us to improve our workflow, cut costs, and provide quality patient care. We now utilize one software program for billing, scheduling, payroll, and patient documentation. Alayacare's mobile app is extremely easy to use even for our less than tech-savvy employees. Alaycare has become an integral part of our day to day functions and is used on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

The downside is that it does take a good bit of time and computer knowledge to customize and build forms. This was short lived though as we worked with customer support throughout our implementation process.  With their support the ease of integration from our previous electronic medical record was a relief.

Alayacare has decreased the amounts of errors withing our AR process which has improved our overall authorization and billing processes.

More strength is needed on Privacy protection and access in all areas
When putting a field staff on hold, they still have access to client info and can backtrack online web apps to schedule and get past client addresses from the schedule and client file Breach in Privacy
The only way to close this door is to "terminate" the employee file.
Also, there should be a different permission (or permissions separated into two) to turn on access for the different portals.

**What do you like best about AlayaCare?**

AlayaCare has opened the door for a number of API integrations that will add tremednous value for Nucleus.  It's allowed us to think outside the box and get creative in terms of how we are leveraging technology to support our clients and other stakeholders.  The user interface is great and it's app has good funcitonality.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

Customer support isn't always the greatest.  It is missing some key components in reporting and back up that make general implementation challenging.  They have expanded rapidly and service a broad range of customers with varied needs.  Many times new funcitonalities are geared towards fee for service clients which results in the not for profit sector having to work around system design to achieve the same results.

**What problems is AlayaCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right information, right place and right time for our staff that support and deliver front line care.  It has improved productivity and helped support better reporting.  We have information to support performance management.

In my opinion, AlayaCare is striving to become the industry leader for Home Care software, and are succeeding!  They have innovative ideas to tackle operational challenges, have a keen eye on efficiency improvements and are focussed on staying compliant with ever changes regulations.

There's not much I can dislike about this organization! Our engagement has been very positive!

AlayaCare is all inclusive and combines the need for having multiple system providers into one solution.  The AlayaCare system allows us to remain compliant, manage client and home care worker schedules accurately and has simplified our revenue cycle management strategies.

AlayaCare does offer an end-to-end solution for homecare companies to complete day-to-day scheduling. Their mobile app is user-friendly and provides excellent visualization to caregivers.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

I feel AlayaCare continually asks for more money to truly gain the benefits of what they have to offer. They sell you on a shell of a product and then constantly try to upsell. This might be beneficial for larger companies; however, small to medium businesses do not have the funds to support this. Therefore, they are left with trying to come up with workarounds. Examples of this are using AlayaCare Connector to partner with other agencies using AlayaCare. The price proposed was 7% of ARR, which is absurd.

AlayaCare helps us with scheduling in a way that provides less back end interaction. Our scheduling staff is more productive and it appears to have ease frustrations.

AlayaCare has helped my company stay on top of our patient/nurse schedules.  AlayaCare's scheduling system has kept my scheduling team and field nurses organized.  The fear of missed visits has been tremendously reduced.  Scheduling is a breeze.  It is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about AlayaCare?**

The time it takes to send out a visit offer to their mobile app/SMS takes too long.  AlayaCare is solving this problem.

**What problems is AlayaCare solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fixing the visit offer feature so that there is no delay in sending the offer out to our nurses.  AlayaCare is also integrating Zoom messaging with AlayaCare's visit offer feature.  AlayaCare has also developed a system to remind out nurses about their upcoming scheduled visits.  A system to remind our nurses to clock in and clock out of their visits is currently being developed.

The most helpful feature about Alayacare is that all my notes are saved on my phone and downloaded when I am back on WiFi.  I also like that when charting if something is missed Alayacare prompts me to finish before it submits the infusion record.

I really don't have any downsides to Alayacare. I've used 5 different operating systems and in my opinion this is the most user friendly system I have used. I'm also able to access the entire operating system from my iPhone which is very helpful.

The biggest problem that Alayacare is helping to solve is nurse recruitment, credentials and training.  Alayacare prompts training and credentialing deadlines and organizes nurses files so I can access from my phone at any time.

AlayaCare has so many valuable functions. Weekly, I discover new functions to help the flow and continuity of our client's care. AlayaCare service agents are always available to help and are easily accessible.

Although the system is fantastic, and the AlayaCare team is continuously finding new ways to update and better the system, there are often system disruptions and glitches.

They have developed the client profile section; however, the employee profile options can be limited. However, I feel they are making improvements so that I can keep all employee informtion using AlayaCare without needing a second employee HR application or program.

The staff who helped us to implement it were fantastic. I will admit that we struggled to adapt but the alayacare product is working for us we just needed to remain patient as it took longer than were expecting to implement.

I think that organizations need to realize that something of this size is going to take time.

It doesn't allow for changing of terms and description.  For example, can't change "Client" to "Person" or "Visit" to "Shift".   Also, it's design is more for Personal Support or Home Care as opposed to Developmental Services Sector.

They dont seem to test new functions in the real world.  Then they dont work when we try to use them. Work instructions need to be clearer, easier to accecss and dated.
