Was introduced to AegisVision through a contact and was honestly a bit skeptical going in — there's a lot of noise in the AI space and a lot of products that demo beautifully and fall apart in production.
What changed my view slightly was that the demo used real detection scenarios rather than curated highlight reels. They talked openly about the calibration period, the fact that accuracy builds over time as models train on your environment, and what the first few weeks actually look like operationally. That kind of honesty about limitations is usually a good sign.
The pitch that resonates with me is the existing camera infrastructure angle. I don't want to have a big capital conversation to start a pilot. The fact that you can begin with what you already have and see results before committing to a larger investment is the right commercial model for how businesses actually make decisions.
