Adobe Premiere Pro Reviews FAQs

What is Adobe Premiere Pro, and what problem is it built to solve?

Adobe Premiere Pro is a video-editing application for turning raw footage into finished videos. Users put it to work on everything from social clips and marketing content to longer, more involved productions, with editing and refinement handled in a single workflow.

What company sizes and industries is Adobe Premiere Pro the best fit for?

Adobe Premiere Pro has positive reviewer representation across a range of company sizes and industries, with the strongest clusters in smaller businesses and creative or media-related work. The segments that stand out are:
  • Small businesses: The most prominent company-size segment.
  • Mid-market organizations: Also well represented among positive users.
  • Marketing and advertising: A leading industry cluster for video and campaign content.
  • Media production: A notable fit for teams producing video as a core activity.
  • Computer software and education: Additional visible clusters across product content, instruction, and training.

What customer support options does Adobe Premiere Pro provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Adobe Premiere Pro support is available through email/help desk, a knowledge base, and phone or chat. The experience is mixed: users describe helpful, knowledgeable assistance and useful online resources, while others find technical support less direct or the documentation insufficient when an issue needs troubleshooting.

What is the experience like for teams switching to Adobe Premiere Pro from another tool?

Switching to Adobe Premiere Pro is often about gaining more editing control, professional capabilities, or a workflow that connects better with other Adobe tools. Users coming from lighter editors such as Filmora, CapCut, Shotcut, or PowerDirector, as well as established tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, VEGAS, and Avid, describe moving for greater flexibility, more features, or stronger integration. Getting comfortable with the interface can take time, especially for editors new to Adobe, while familiarity with other Adobe applications can make the transition easier.

What tools and platforms does Adobe Premiere Pro integrate with, and how do these integrations help users get more value from the product?

Adobe Premiere Pro offers 18 integrations, which can help keep creative assets and related work connected rather than requiring repeated handoffs between tools. The integrations span these areas:
  • Adobe creative and production tools: Adobe Acrobat, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Frame.io, and RedGiant Effects Suite.
  • AI assistants: Claude and Perplexity.
  • Content, learning, and audio creation: Articulate 360, Synthesia, and Suno.ai.
  • Marketing, fundraising, and commerce: Intuit Mailchimp Email Marketing, Donorbox, and WooCommerce.
In day-to-day editing, links to Adobe tools are especially useful for moving graphics, motion work, and audio into a project with less back-and-forth. Users also describe integrations and shared workflows as helpful for keeping production moving across collaborators and creative applications.

What features or capabilities could make Adobe Premiere Pro even more useful?

The clearest opportunities to make Adobe Premiere Pro more useful are smoother performance on demanding projects and a more approachable experience for new users. Users also point to improvements in these areas:
  • Performance and stability: Reduce lag, crashes, and slow exports with large or high-resolution timelines.
  • Interface and discoverability: Make tools easier to find and everyday tasks less intimidating for beginners.
  • Built-in creative assets: Expand the selection of ready-to-use templates, transitions, effects, and motion-graphics options.
  • Color controls: Improve color grading and make results more consistent between previews and exports.

How useful do Adobe Premiere Pro users find its AI features in everyday use?

Adobe Premiere Pro’s AI tools are most useful for reducing repetitive editing work, particularly around dialogue, captions, and reframing. Users describe working with features in these areas:
  • Speech and captions: Transcription, text-based editing, and automatic captions.
  • Framing and footage: Auto Reframe, scene detection, and extending video clips.
  • Audio and selection: Speech enhancement and assisted masking or object selection.
These tools can speed up first cuts, caption creation, and routine adjustments, leaving more time for creative decisions. Accuracy is not always dependable, however: transcription may need corrections, and some selections or edits still require hands-on review.

"AI-Powered Video Editing, Slight Rendering Delays"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I love using Adobe Premiere Pro for its AI-powered tools like Object Mask and Auto Reframe, which help us reduce manual hours and increase efficiency, essential for our fast-paced agency life. The software offers all the features and tools needed to edit videos, whether they are long-form or reels, and delivers high-resolution outputs. The easy setup facilitated by our Social Media and creative team has been very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

There's not much to mention since the software is a powerhouse. But yes, rendering becomes an issue at times; it takes a lot of time, and there could be project loss if the system hangs or shuts down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Editing with Seamless Adobe Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro mainly for video editing. I like how powerful and flexible it is, providing all the editing tools in one place and working well with other Adobe apps. It helps me cut clips, add transitions, music, text, and do basic color correction in one place. It turns raw video footage into a clean, professional video, easily trimming long clips, syncing audio, adding effects, titles, and transitions. I also appreciate how it fixes color and sound issues so the final video is polished and ready to share. The initial setup was easy, with a straightforward installation process that allowed me to start editing quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Sometimes it feels heavy and can be slow on low-end systems. It also crashes occasionally, and the subscription price could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some performance issues can occur with large or high-resolution projects, especially on lower-end systems, and the software can feel resource-intensive. The subscription pricing can also be expensive, and the learning curve may be steep for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Editing, Seamless Adobe Ecosystem Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro for professional video editing and color grading. It helps me quickly turn raw footage into polished, professional videos, keeping the entire editing process in one place, which lets me focus on storytelling, pacing, and visual quality. I like Adobe Premiere Pro because it's a powerful tool and easy to use, allowing smooth editing with creative effects and faster performance than other tools. I value the smooth timeline with keyboard shortcuts, which make editing fast and natural, and the professional features like Lumetri Color for color grading. The tool utilizes AI to generate auto captions and it integrates seamlessly with After Effects to make motion graphics effortless. The Adobe integration and flexible format support are outstanding, making collaboration easier and fitting our workflow better than Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve. The initial setup was easy because the interface and Adobe workflow felt familiar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Premiere Pro feels slow and unstable sometimes when I export big projects and crashes suddenly. If this bug is fixed in the near future it will be really helpful. If Premiere Pro makes performance optimization better and crash issues are fixed then it will be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Editing Suite with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I really appreciate Adobe Premiere Pro's great ecosystem that connects to all other Adobe apps. I find it very flexible and it includes many professional tools for both video and audio in one place. I also like that it has detailed color grading and motion tracking options. It's easy to import video, audio, and graphics, edit them, and then export, which makes video editing for social media convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I had experience of crack and lag when working with 4K or effect-heavy timelines. Also, it has a very high price and takes a lot of time to perfect it. I feel like I need more features for that high of a price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Editing with Robust Auto Features, but Needs Better Motion Graphics"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro for professional video editing, which makes my work efficient due to its easy and fast editing capabilities. I appreciate the presets that are one-click ready to use, making tasks much quicker. The auto subtitles feature is something I really like, along with the one-click text editing and the effects applied to texts. I also enjoy the transitions available in the software. The initial setup was very easy, even though the interface might look a little weird at first, but with time and learning, it's manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Some easy motion graphics styles take time in Adobe Premiere Pro. I wish there was more access and possibilities for motion graphics and better graph editing for smoother motions. Also, for new people, the interface might look a bit weird initially, though it does get better over time with learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe Premier Pro the ultimate in video and audio editing all rolled into one"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Because it is a part of the Adobe Creative Suite it is a snap to either open a video file from the file itself rightinto Premier Pro or just open Premier Pro to create a new project and import the video. Editing, adding and removing effects, transitions, speed, ect is all easy to find and even easier to add. Very easy to setup and use. As with all of Adobe Support, support to premier pro is top tier. I use it weekely if not daily depending upon my gig schedule. No integration required I use it as a editing tool on its own and do not need to integrate it with any other progucts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Premiere Pro?

Maybe make it a little easier to export your finished video to Social Media Outlets, not saying its not already conviently there to click on for Youtube, Facebook, TickTok, ect. and maybe there is a way to have it mostly filled out for any video and just add the extras but how I have it I have to turn on the Social Media site I want to export to on top of just to my export folder, and then fill out all of the into ie (Title, description, tags, made for kids if its asks for that) I will look to see if there is a way to pre-set that up but for now it would be a great thing to have a template or prefilled profile for each of your Social Media Outlets, maybe even have Adobe's AI offer to fill out the info for you to maximize chances for views on your channel.
