## Adobe Stock Reviews
 ### 1. Diverse Stock Images and Seamless Adobe Integration, but AI Is Changing the Landscape

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhinav D. | Associate Vice President - Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

It's got a good collection of stock images. The diversity between ethnicity and moods of the stock images is quite good and usable. The pricing plans are not too steep. Integration with other softwares, especially with Adobe seems to be pretty seamless.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

The rise of AI is making Adobe Stock a little obsolete. There are much better generative AI tools and therefore the limitations of Adobe Stock are much more visible now. I wonder if it is worth paying the premium price to Adobe Stock when there are multiple tools that can simply do the job in much more specified and personalised way.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves for quick access to a vast library of images. As an advertiser, I don't always have time for generating images for some inventory on e-commerce platforms or for social media creatives or posters. That is where I use Adobe Stock.

 ### 2. Its Convenient and what you expect from Adobe

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Skyler W. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

Adobe Stock has a convenient library of photo assets that helps me add the unique flair I need to separate my portfolio from other designers. The search is pretty easy to use, and the filters accommodate what I’m looking for—especially when I need to separate generative AI images from photos created by individuals. That makes it easier to follow client guidelines and keeps implementation in my process frictionless.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

I dislike the credit system for downloads, although I understand why it exists. I also don’t like the lack of diversity in the library. For Adobe Stock, being 10 years old, there should be far more than 100 pages of assets featuring people of color (African-American and dark-skinned people in photos) when the user base spreads far and wide for adobe.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me fill the gaps in layouts and designs that might otherwise take me hours to set up on my own—for example, when I need to plan a photo shoot or create an illustration from scratch.

 ### 3. Reliable stock asset library with great quality.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu J. | Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

It has a really strong library, especially for professional-looking photos, vectors, and templates. The quality is noticeably better than a lot of free stock sites.
What I personally liked is how smoothly it integrates with Photoshop and Illustrator. You can preview watermarked assets directly in your design and only license them once you’re sure

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

Pricing is the biggest downside. Credits/subscriptions can get confusing, and if you’re not careful, you burn through credits pretty fast. Search is decent but not perfect. Sometimes you type a very clear idea and still have to scroll a lot to find something usable.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It basically removes the headache of sourcing high-quality visuals. Instead of spending hours digging through random sites. I’ve used it for presentations, landing pages and quick client mockups.

 ### 4. Convenient Built-In Stock Library for Creative Cloud, But Asset Variety Feels Limited

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alphonse T. | Senior Manager, Global Communications, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

It comes native with the Creative Cloud subscription, so having a built-in stock library is nice for creating design comps and materials, without having to look in separate libraries and then uploading into designs. Has a decent range of assets.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

The type and variety of photos and visual assets is more limited compared to other platforms, so will need to use complementary databases. Also the pricing is high for accessing certain images relative to other Stock tools

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since it’s part of the Adobe Suite, it offers a reliable way to create comps and designs. The built-in stock libraries are especially helpful, saving me time and effort.

 ### 5. Great Image Variety, Needs Better Inclusion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa H. | Independent Contractor / Senior Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

I use Adobe Stock in my projects where I need photography without setting up a photoshoot. It enables me to use photos that represent the imagery needed for websites or other digital and print material. I like that there is a good amount of images available that I can find in their search, and I like that I can put images in folders to organize my project needs before choosing the right images. The initial setup of Adobe Stock was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

There can be better images for women and people of color. The price can be reduced. It seems higher than many other comparable platforms.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Stock lets me access photos for projects without a photoshoot, representing the imagery needed for digital and print materials.

 ### 6. Comprehensive Stock Library Integrates Seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom l. | sales and marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

I like the extremely large database of images and videos available on Adobe Stock. It's also great that I can tie it in with my Creative Cloud account and keep all our stock photos and fonts in one place. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, being subscription-based just like Creative Cloud.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

Some more product templates would be nice. We currently use Yellowimages for product templates. There is an increasing number of templates available but some more variety would be nice.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Stock helps us avoid the cost of creating our own visuals where less needed, quickly filling gaps with stock images. About 60% of our materials change fast so stock is preferable.

 ### 7. High-Quality Adobe Stock Assets and AI Generation with Great ROI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

Adobe stock is a wonderful source of stock images, graphics, and videos. If you can't find what you are looking for you can use Adobe Stock's AI features to generate the image you want. You have access to high quality images and videos and you don't need to burn up credits on all of them- many images are free so it's a good ROI.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

Sometimes it takes several attempts to get what I want using the AI tools to generate images.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You have access to a plethora of high quality photography, graphics, and videos. The quality is professional and you get get hi-res images for your projects.

 ### 8. Great Resource but Limited Free Options

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Livia P. | Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

I like that Adobe Stock not only has stock images, but also stock videos and a vast library of templates to download. The templates cover the full spread of advertising and marketing needs, including posters, business cards, flyers, letters, cover letters, logos, menus, etc. I also really like that their 'free' library is quite extensive, and I can usually find a suitable image within their 'free' range.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

I do not have a paid Adobe Stock subscription, and I use their 'free' resources, which can be quite limited depending on what I'm looking for. I often find that their 'free' options have quite a stock-y look rather than a natural or candid look, so sometimes I opt to use Pexels or Pixabay, which have more natural-looking free images. The Adobe ones can look like too much production went into taking them, and they lose their effectiveness because they lack a sense of relatability—they feel too stock imagey. Also, there is a limit on how many free images can be downloaded in a day, which has been frustrating in the past.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Stock to download images, videos, and design templates, saving time by accessing resources without creating them manually. It provides inspiration and meets advertising needs effectively.

 ### 9. Huge, High-Quality Asset Library with Fast Search and Creative Cloud Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

Adobe Stock offers a huge library of high-quality photos, videos, illustrations, and templates. The search is fast and accurate, which helps me find what I need quickly without a lot of extra effort. It also integrates smoothly with Adobe Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop and Illustrator, making it really easy to add assets directly to my projects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

The pricing can feel a bit high, especially if you regularly need a large number of assets. I also found it confusing at first that some files require credits rather than being available through a straightforward subscription download. That said, the overall quality of the content makes it worth it.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Stock helps me find visual assets quickly, so I don’t have to create everything from scratch. It saves me a lot of time and helps my projects look more professional overall. Whether I need images for marketing, videos for social platforms, or illustrations for websites, Adobe Stock has made it easier to streamline my creative work and keep things moving efficiently.

 ### 10. Incredible, Non-Cringe Stock Imagery That Elevates Creative Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Skye D. | Storyteller & Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

Adobe Stock offers an unprecedented level of incredible stock imagery, that truly doesn't feel like traditional 'cringey' stock photography and illustrations.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

I wish it had even more options and a greater range of alternative visuals (illustrations etc).

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Broadening the stock image market and deepening the realism, candidness and authenticity of the images we have available in this space.

 ### 11. Great Images, But Pricing Could Be Better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepanshu D. | Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

I like Adobe Stock for the premium licensed images it offers. As a graphic designer, it's really useful for my daily illustration tasks. I mostly use images and sometimes even the AI features. The initial setup was easy, which is always a plus.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

I'm not happy with the pricing and number of stock images. It's just 10 images and costs approximately 2400, which is way higher than competitors.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a graphic designer, and Adobe Stock provides premium licensed images, which are essential for my daily illustration tasks.

 ### 12. Easy-to-use platform that accepts AI images

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helder S. | Proprietário, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

It is one of the few image sales platforms (photos, illustrations, vectors, and videos) that accepts assets created with Artificial Intelligence. It is an easy-to-use platform, very intuitive, and allows the simultaneous upload of multiple images. I use it daily. I have never needed to use Customer Support. I recommend and suggest it to all my friends!

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

I think the percentage paid to content creators is low. It could be better. There could also be an improvement in the speed of analyzing submitted assets. The auto-fill for Title and Tags is not always accurate.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Stock is helping me showcase my AI-created art and also sell these digital artworks.

 ### 13. Expensive and disappointing.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher W. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

I like that the parent company is currently under FTC sanction and DOJ investigation in USA for subscription practices.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

Overpriced/poor value. Media selection is extremely weak in video and template categories compared to competitors. Interface is sluggish, slow, and difficult to use (search terms are thin too). Free trial converts to expensive annual subscription with onerous cancellation fees. Have had it for six months and have not used one asset.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been useful for finding placeholder images that the client hated so much they removed the scenes.

 ### 14. Unhelpful Support and Double Charging Issues

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica B. | Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

Frustrating Double Charge Issue with No Support Resolution: Long-Time Customer Left Without Assistance

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

I reached out to support for help after using this service for years because I was being double charged on one of my Adobe accounts. Despite being charged for months, they told me they couldn't help me locate or access my account and advised me to contact my bank. When I asked to open a ticket or file a complaint, they directed me back to my bank again.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 15. Best Place to find Stock Footages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramakrishna P. | Senior Motion Graphic Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

Adobe Stock has a huge library of stock footages. It is helping most content creators to make their video or graphic designs more creative and more impact. The downloading and usage of Stock footages is very easy and all you need to have is its premium account. It allows to download the files in multiple resolutions. As it is a service from Adobe, a popular company, it provides an outstanding support.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

Adobe Stock is good at its work but only thing is that the plans are more costlier. Except that remaining all are good.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a video editor, I use Adobe Stock to download and add the Stock images and video footages into my videos to make them more impactful. Stock footages play a major role in my daily corporate video editings.

 ### 16. Adobe stock is a solid option for Creative Suite users at a price

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter R. | Director of Development, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

For me, access to Adobe's Creative Suite is the best part. Especially if I am doing rapid mockups. There is less work to find what I need and many quality photos in their library. I tend to do mostly presentations and mock-ups with stock art and photos, so this is the best tool for my purposes.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

I think the downside would be the licensing ties to Adobe, which may require that users who work on-site as contractors cannot utilize it if their target contract doesn't also have it.

I also find their pricing model to be obnoxious. Having a subscription gives you very little in terms of usable stock content options. I found I constantly needed to pay more or upgrade my service to access any of the items I needed. I have since stopped using it in favor of other products like Shutterstock.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems I usually have with stock sites is managing my licensing and having to line-item bill customers based on usage. Adobe stock makes it easier to set a flat rate for my work. Unfortunately, I have stopped using Adobe Stock because the investment is overbearing. While they do have quality content to choose from, I just cannot rationalize the cost.

 ### 17. Versatile unique Assets and images, Seamless Integration with Adobe tools.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nandini G. | Associate Experience Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

1. The best feature of Adobe stock is its compatibility with other Adobe software like Photoshop. Helps in a seamless workflow.
2. Diverse types of assets in a single place with unique styles. High-resolution content helps me to work in my workplace.
3. Great custom templates for posters, and illustrations that fit well into my projects. Very easy to implement and save.
4. Daily usage of this tool helps in increasing efficiency

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

1. Free content availability is limited which hinders my clients from working.
2. Multiple dupes/websites are providing the same content as Stock even though their quality is bad.
3. template customisation is still not fully capable of satisfying the designer's work

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Since I am a daily Photoshop and Illustrator user, Stock has reduced the time by 50% by integrating and finding images/illustrations for these.
2. Assets are always up to date with the trend in the market, I rarely have to polish a lot, and efficiently get the work done.
3. High-resolution graphics daily help me in conveying ideas to the team in a creative manner.
4. The collaboration feature enhances my team's communication and ensures everyone has access to the same set of assets - which is very helpful

 ### 18. Incredible Royalty - free Stock Photos and more

I haven't come across any dislike as of now but, for the individual (Less frequent) users it might be a little expensive. Considering the value they are providing for the organizations where the frequency of use is more it's a great investment.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

As an individual contributor their review takes time. Some of my assets are Illustrations, there is a wait time of between 1 and 2 months. Pricing of 29$ a month is expensive as well since I am already a part of Adobe Creative Cloud it should have been integrated with that itself rather then keeping it seperate.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 22. Great selection of premium images

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Finding and saving images is easy.
It's the only image solution we use in our business and I use it every day.

We are a small company so we don't have branded photo shoots. That means we rely on Adobe Stock for all our business images.

 ### 23. Top notch stock imagery & assets, but at a price.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Storie S. | Creative Wizard, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

As you can probably guess, the *paid* stock imagery, assets, templates, etc. offered by Adobe are some of, if not, the best you can find. They are high quality, typically well thought out - at least more so than your cheaper or free stock sites.

Compared to other stock sites, the templates and HQ videos are the most valuable if you are paying by download or using your subscription.

They do have free options avaible, but again, they are not going to be as nice as the ones you pay for per-download or by subscription. The free options are also usually avaible on most other stock sites.

If you're not a designer and are looking for easy to use/update templates where youll be swapping out only text or images - this is a great site with greate customer service.
If you are a graphic designer and are looking for a go-to site for all our needs, I would search for a stock site that better fits your needs and download rates.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

As with most things Adobe, access to their stock site comes with quite the price tag and my least favorite thing about any stock site - a download limit per month.

As of writing this review their price per month breakdown is as follows.
$30 - 10 standards assets
$50 - 25 standard assets OR 3 HD videos
$200 - 750 standard assets OR 25 HD videos.

There are sites out there that offer everything adobe does (sometimes lower quality) but the cost per year is lower than their top tier cost per month.

I work on a TON of projects for both my day job and as a freelance designer. There are days were I will download upword of 50 items from my go to stock site. They do not charge perdownload and cap downloads per-day (100) instead of per month. With my work flow, I will download seperate assets, several templates to take pieces off, and other one off things, to piece together in my own way. Adobe has great options but does not fit my budget or work flow.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High Quality videos are hard to find, Much harder than photos or other workable assets. There are HQ free and paid stock video sites that offer similar content but you often have to search for a bit and through a lot of mediocre fluff to find them.

 ### 24. Decent selection of Images

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan M. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Stock?**

Adobe Stock is a great tool for getting stock images. It has saved me a lot of money both in paying for usage rights and contracting with photographers. It's easy to use and incorporates the libraries seamlessly with my Adobe Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). The ever growing supply of imagery keeps my content fresh and makes it easy to not reuse the same pictures in the documentation I create for the company.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Stock?**

Many of the images of people lack diversity of race, and often times the images of women doing business or construction tasks are poorly executed. Some of these photos are completely unusable for anything other than making Memes about not wearing sandals to a construction site or bikini's and hard hats being appropriate attire.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Stock:**

You only get 20 images a month with the basic subscription, but you can add unlicensed version of the images into your documents and then only license them once you finalize your documents are are ready to go to print. This makes it easy to develop materials and get them approved before you commit to the license. There are also lots of free things like templates that will help novice users or designers create professional looking documents without having to be expert designers.

**What problems is Adobe Stock solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Stock provides many of the images I use when creating training and safety materials. This saves me time and money.

The biggest drawback is that it is not ideal for personal projects and the alternative products are attractive if you are on a tight budget

It is helping me get stock images that I would typically need liscense for; as a designer, my time is my biggest asset and having to wait for clients to provide images for designs can be a setback when you juggle multiple projects. With Adobe Stock, I have placeholder images that often end up on the final product until the client comes through. This saves me a lot of time on my work
