It's a great database and provided various different options for exporting data which can then be reported on. It's also highly customisable. **What do you dislike about Access Coins?** It's not very intuative, and I think this is down to there being so much that you can do with it. Users will be require extensive training to really get the best out of COINS. **What problems is Access Coins solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's putting our data into systems. In the past, we'd use a lot of Excel spreadsheets and multiple different systems. COINS has allowed us to aggregate several different functions into a single platform. ### 2. It enables the team to easily share, comment, upload and access any project document from any place at any time, and the budgeting capability found on this software is on top. **What do you dislike about Access Coins?** My experience with COINS Construction Cloud, things have been working effectively like required, and for problems reporting, nothing at all to report on the solution. **Recommendations to others considering Access Coins:** Engineering project management, easy also for the documentation and teamwork functionality are well supported, and i have to mention the Cloud service from the tool are excellent. **What problems is Access Coins solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy way to manage project documents and even drawings, Engineering project can be simply management from any point at any time and the collaboration is amazing. ### 3. Amazing CRM usage and most coveted is mobile technician feature which is very helpful for associates to handle issues. **What do you dislike about Access Coins?** Nothing to complain about as very less exposure. **What problems is Access Coins solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a construction industry, you need to share OpenEdge application progress data with third-party applications. Third-party applications do not require advanced software skills or are extensible. I thought it was very good value for money ### 4. The wide variety of reports it can run is also a plus. **What do you dislike about Access Coins?** When running reports with a significant amount of data, COINS tends to time out more often than not. **What problems is Access Coins solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using COINS helps us keep track of all internal and external invoicing completely paperless. ### 8. You can really tailor how you would like the job cost to spread throughout the system. **What do you dislike about Access Coins?** Slow development for new projects. COINS is very willing to work with you to come up with a solution, but the development for the project can take too long. **What problems is Access Coins solving and how is that benefiting you?** Full ERP tailored for construction, awesome that those kind of calculations are built in. Having payroll and HR within the system has made businesses processes much smoother. ### 9. The only issue is that it can be slow and disconnect you every so often. Sales was very good as he knew the industry, product and competitors along with being very candid on what would\would not work for us. **What do you dislike about Access Coins?** While it was very inclusive and functional, the architecture, reporting and integration capabilities are extremely dated. Essentially, the only way to customize fields, a report or integrate would be custom development. Additionally, I found it not to be a cloud product as advertised as it is more like partner hosted. **Recommendations to others considering Access Coins:** COINS is inclusive but definately not for everyone because of the limited architecture. Additional field, custom reports and integrations are difficult but the canned reports are pretty good. **What problems is Access Coins solving and how is that benefiting you?** This would take care of all construction billing, projects and all financials. We ultimately did not go in this direction due to it's limitations. ### 11. I also love the feature of exporting any report to excel. All of the information I need is there, it just takes some steps to get it. I do like how I can view any invoices that have been entered as well. That makes it very easy to go back and look at pricing. **What do you dislike about Access Coins?** For the version we use, the interface it outdated. It can be very clunky to navigate to the information I need. I do need several cheat sheets to make sure I know what I am looking at. It is not very intuitive and takes time to learn how to use it. I do wish there was a way to set up report templates for my jobs, and have them emailed to me ewither daily, or weekly. **Recommendations to others considering Access Coins:** While the software does work, and has all of the information you need. I would make sure there is a training plan in place. This can be very daunting for new employees especially. It can take a while to get the hang of it, and use it correctly. **What problems is Access Coins solving and how is that benefiting you?** It lets me know how my projects are doing, and lets me forecast for the future, and what steps I need to take to correct any problems. I also use it to go back and look at the invoices I have received. It helps me ensure I am holding to my budgets for materials and subcontractors. ### 12.
