"Easy-to-Use Training Creation from PowerPoints and PDFs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

Very easy to use overall. Especially if building in-house material. Like the option of taking existing PowerPoints and making them into training, or being able to take a PDF and let the AI build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

It’s not really a dislike; like anything else, every software or platform has a “box” where it works best. For me, the challenge is taking manufacturer or other certifications that were completed outside of Absorb and getting them into a user’s profile.

The workaround I’ve found is a bit clunky and time-consuming: I have to create an “on-line course” and label it for what it is, upload the PDF certification into that course, enroll the user, and then edit the enrollment so the certification shows up in the user profile. The other issue is creating our own company-logo certifications—this process also feels very clunky within Absorb. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An in-depth LMS software providing fantastic customer support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

I love the ability to set up curriculums in Absorb LMS that combine online training course content with virtual quizzes and in-person ILC sessions, which is really helpful for our certified installer programme. The AI features, like voiceovers and quiz question generation, make our work more efficient by allowing us to use AI-generated content and tweak it according to our needs. The flexibility in the create feature also stands out to me, especially the capability to upload existing PowerPoint content and edit it as necessary, which again saves us time. Additionally, I find the ability to segment and group installers beneficial for our use case. The scalable nature and great integration options of Absorb LMS are also aspects I appreciate. The level of support offered by our implementation specialist has been amazing and made the process a much smoother process than it otherwise could have been as we are new to LMS softwares. What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

I think the platform could be slightly more intuitive and flexible to use, we have felt at times like we have had to adapt our content to work with how the LMS is set up/structured rather than being able to adapt it fully to our needs. The LMS structure of having learning objects, courses, and then curriculums has meant we have had to restructure our courses to fit this flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use UI, Outstanding Support, and AI-Powered Content Creation"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

The UI is very easy to understand, both in the learner experience and on the admin side, so we were up and operational much faster than we expected. Support and implementation were incredibly helpful, with a dedicated Implementation Project Manager who guided us through everything step by step.

The AI functionality for content creation has been a game changer, helping ensure all of our content looks professional and aligns with our brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

There isn’t much to like about Absorb LMS, especially since the community can submit recommendations to the developers for changes customers actually want to see. Perhaps a limitation on technical functionality with role creation per department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly LMS with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

I love how user-friendly Absorb LMS is. I recently had two new team members join our team, and they have been able to jump in easily. The Absorb Academy is amazing and a great way for new team members to use the system. The ease of use means they didn't require much training to begin using Absorb. Our Client Success Manager, Jason, has been exceptional to work with! Moreover, Absorb presented as user-friendly and capable of supporting both internal employees and external agents. The initial setup of Absorb LMS was very easy, and the team that walked us through the process was very supportive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

I wish we could see the calendar responses when we automatically enroll someone in an ILC session. That would be helpful for tracking and even for courses that had a limit on attendance. I would love an AI overlay on the Absorb Analyze to help build the dashboards. Also, if we had more control on who could get notified after courses/curriculum are completed. If we could set specific people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Learn, Implement, and Coach Others"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

Absorb LMS has been easy to learn and implement, and it's straightforward to coach others through the platform. We have been able to integrate it quickly into our training process to ensure we adhere to compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

Sometimes classes are very similar so when you have only 100 classes to add to your system you will add two classes that cover the same topic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Certificate Deadlines and Specific Report Generation"
4/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

I like that learners can see their own certificates. It gives them a sense of accomplishment and accountability. I also like the reporting aspect and being able to produce a number of different reports as required from different departments within the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

As we are using it currently from an admin perspective at present, there are some nuances we have to consider, for example 're-enrolling' users on courses, not just enrolling them on a future session date. Also, it would be great if course uploads did not override as we needed to create several courses per year due to the company needing to retain older certs. For example a person completed a course in 2022, their cert expires in 2026, if they upload a new cert in 2026 to the same course, the second cert overrides the first cert and we lose the person's first cert. "Customizable LMS with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

I use Absorb LMS to manage and track our company's online courses and in-person training. I really like the ability to customize the user interface, which gives our dashboard a personalized appearance. Support is excellent with timely responses, which was especially valuable during the onboarding transition, making it easier to navigate and learn. Our Absorb contact, Gesa Cole, does a great job maintaining an open line of communication with frequent meetings. It was very easy to set up Absorb LMS thanks to the support we received. What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

There are some minor feature implementations that we would benefit greatly from, specifically with regard to course cancellation behavior, waitlisting, and being able to assign specific permissions to a manager role to prevent managers from approving enrollments. Most importantly, pricing and costs could be more competitive, especially with newer features like Localization. We have had to explore other options for Localization because the cost is just too high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Smooth Absorb Implementation with Responsive Onboarding and Helpful AI Creator"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

The Onboarding Team, the user interface, and the ADP Connector have been the best parts of our experience with Absorb. This has been one of the smoothest implementations we’ve been a part of, from start to finish. The team was extremely responsive and consistently able to answer any questions we had along the way. The AI Creator tool has also been very helpful for creating training content, and the pre-made course library is a great added benefit. Overall, our experience has been amazing, and we would definitely recommend this product to other teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

So far, we haven’t come across anything we dislike about this product. Everything works quickly and exactly as it’s supposed to. Our connection with ADP is seamless, and employee information updates as soon as changes are made in WorkforceNow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Learn, Easier to Manage, Top-Notch Support, and Fantastic Value!"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

How easy and convenient it is to create, manage, and monitor course content and learner information, both from our vanilla subscription and through the integrations we've added. And this is coming from someone who had to learn everything from scratch, purely from their documentation and by emailing their support team (which, btw, is top-notch). They respond asap with the right information and a great attitude. Special thanks to Madelyn Mon, who is honestly the most patient person I've met in years!

Also (and I think this is the most important part) Absorb helps us deliver real value to our learners by presenting our content in a clean way. The platform performs incredibly well, even when loading heavy files, and the interface is "Google clean" (meaning there aren't a million buttons or distractions to confuse our learners).

I feel we are getting a fantastic ROI at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

There is nothing I dislike per se, but I would love to see additional settings on the e-commerce panel to better manage tax collection. Right now, we have to handle these limitations manually outside of Absorb.

One additional thing is their new AI agent. Honestly, it's still pretty basic right now because the feature is so new. However, I feel they will improve it before the year ends to a level similar to the big names out there. I really believe this because their other products already work really well. "Easy Admin Experience That Streamlines Online Training"
5/5
What do you like best about Absorb LMS?

Absorb LMS has facilitated a significant reduction in instructor-led training through the implementation of online modules. The administrative interface is user-friendly, enabling efficient course creation. Additionally, I was impressed by the value of the impersonate mode, which allows administrators to preview content from the learner’s perspective prior to publication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Absorb LMS?

One suggestion that may benefit some Administrators is the implementation of a notification feature when a user signs into Absorb for the first time. This would be particularly helpful, as I have sent enrolments and observed that some learners have not taken any action. While it is possible to review login activity, this currently requires a manual process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
