I am not a big IT person, SportNinja's support team is very accessible, no waiting, real people, giving personalized support whenever you need it. **What do you dislike about SportNinja?** They are working on better channels for the League admin to communicate with their teams and players directly through the app. When launched, that will be a great feature for and already great app. **What problems is SportNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing a sports league can take an enormous amount of work/manhours. SportNinja was clearly developed by people who manage leagues themselves. They understand the challenges in real time and carefully crafted this app to allow streamlined efficient management of all the various aspects of sports league; registration, payment, teams, players, stats, schedules, reports etc. They understand these are constantly evolving structures and their app focus on allowing user friend flexibility to get the work done. It allows great organization, fantastic integration for all; administrators, players, teams, officials, time keepers etc. Straight forward to get set up, their support is there to assist, it then basically runs itself. They have done their research understanding that every sport and each League has their own individual nuances, and they have developed the app to be flexible and easily accommodate all the variation in league structure. They respond quickly and they will work with you to meet your needs. Whether you are trying to operate a simple league, or complex league with full stats, their app can handle both and the support team will walk you through how to get started. **What do you dislike about SportNinja?** The only thing I would say is sometimes it was too advanced for me. I just wanted to use it to keep scores and see the standings, but there are a lot of other functionalities that are very advanced. But the support team walked me through how to turn off some of these advanced functions which helped me a ton **What problems is SportNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves my problem of having to do everything through excel and makes it a lot more user friendly for the league participants. It requires a little more messing around then I think could be possible to go from the game to the rooster to find which team is mine to collect the attendance information. **What problems is SportNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our league was previously letting each team be responsible for their own data collection and implementation which was costly and lacked cohesion for the league. We also were using google docs to collect scoring information and attendance for extra players and referees etc so there wasn't an easy way to track that efficiently. ### 5. It eliminated many hastles of operating a league such as printing paper gamesheets, remebering to take the gamesheets to the rink, getting teams to fill the gamesheet prior to the game, your pen running out of ink, manually uploading the scores, etc. **What do you dislike about SportNinja?** The only thing that I think SportNinja could improve on was being able to have both the regular season and playoffs under one competetion. For my league, we had to seperate them into two competetions (Regualr Season, and Playoffs). It would just be simpler to be able to see it all in the one place. **What problems is SportNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** It`s most importantly saving me a lot of time with pre-game organizing. Not only is it more convenient to be able to score a game on your phone, there is so much less work required before the game begins. In the past we have tried paper gamesheets and that was both annoying and time consuming having to upload the games once it was complete. We have also tried a platform that requires an iPad and cannot be done on your phone, that was better than paper but you still needed to remeber the iPad everytime you went to the rink and sharing it amongst all the scorekeepers was a logistical nightmare. Everyone has a smartphone - that is why SportNinja works so well. It is very easy to use, almost anyone can pick it up and figure out how to score a game on the fly. Players unable to make the game benefit from real-time scoring updates which makes it feel like you were at the game. The support that we have received from James at SportNinja has been nothing short of fantastic, he responds quickly to all queries and even volounteered to set up a video chat to help with setup and solving problems. ### 15. They also are willing to listen to our needs and have added things such as custom penalties to accommodate our league. **What do you dislike about SportNinja?** The set up of the divisions in the league was a bit confusing at first, but once we got used to it, it was pretty easy. This is a big help to our non-profit league. It saves us from having to use another platform that requires a fee or from using paper. It greatly reduced the amount of email from members asking about game times. And the best feature was the attendance tracker. **What do you dislike about SportNinja?** the biggest downside for our league was how "Spares" or "Affiliated Players" were recorded and tracked. Our league has a common pool of spares, and they had to be added to each roster they participated with, This created duplicates in different areas, including stats and rosters, especially when they used different jersey number. Because of this we have to manually tally the games participated for each spare, which we use to identify new members that are committed. Having the ability to draw from a common spares list and assign the players on aweekly basis without them becoming part of the roster would be an improvement. **What problems is SportNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest benefit to our league was attendance tracking and making adjustments last minute. The app allowed players and team reps the ability to update attendances during the week, but simplified last minute changes as our timekeepers could make adjustments during warmups. ### 18. All scoring, stats and game roster information is immediate on the app and in real time. No needing to upload scores online after games. Sportninja can be used on any mobile device, downloaded for free. This is perfect for any team reps, administrators, scorekeepers or anyone involved. Managing game attendance is super easy and makes it so players can check in for the games on their app to update the master rosters, which then is akeready set up for scorekeeping.In addition to game stats, it is great for recording and adminstering suspensions, sending notifications and auto locking out of those players. Any stats or game info that needs to be updated post game is simple and straight forward to do from the administrator within the app which saves so much time and reporting. The roster management system for teams removes so many steps of communication and gives reps their full control. And from the adminstrator side, the social communication function is super effective for sharing league information out to the entire user group. SportNinja's registration process will make integrating teams into our league management system seamless and we will not need to manually enter duplicate information or transfer across platforms. The app also allows us to integarte our legue registration waiver requirements for EVERY player which is fantastic and removes the need for logging paper waivers. Playoff and tournament set ups are super easy to perform, import teams and flow through the brackets. The playoffs allow for league adminstrator approval prior to advancement too. Ultimately the funcationality that the adminstrators of the league have is fantastic and super easy. With full access to all fuctions, it allows to completely manage and assist with all league requirements in one single app that communicates to all parties involved. **What do you dislike about SportNinja?** There have been so many updates and changes throughout the last year, which have all benefited our user and administrator experiences with SportNinja. Currently I would like it if there was a way to use this for other sports, and as I understand it, that may be coming in the very near future. **What problems is SportNinja solving and how is that benefiting you?** As previously outlined, they have allowed us to go paperless with scoreing, scheduling, and all communications. Teams can manage their rosters in real time, we can score and publish in real time, and we can communicate out to all of our members in real time. Administration is straight forward from scheduling games, setting up tournaments, approving playoffs and even managing suspensions.
