I use Sisense for displaying complex data analysis on our platform. I like the drag-and-drop feature for creating dashboards, which can range from very simple to very complex, allowing me to focus on the data rather than coding. The customizability is a major plus for me, especially being able to use SQL to model the data and tailor the dashboard UI. At this point, we are a cloud customer and the timing we need to observe of the ETL leaves our data out of date almost as fast as we can get it in there due to the size of our clusters, we can only build so much at a time without overwhelming the system or incurring much more cost. We operate across 10 sites in three countries, with 4000 agents supporting clients in multiple verticals. Our data lives everywhere: the ACD, WFM, CRM, QA and billing. Sisense pulls all of it into one place. As a result, our site directors, client teams and executives are working from the same numbers at the same time. Customer Support has been a mixed bag. Often it feels like there isn't common knowledge & understanding throughout the organization of issues, features, release timelines. Often documentation has been lacking specifics that we would find out later on support calls. Upgrading from one version to the next is tedious and usually we find ourselves discovering bugs and reporting them to Sisense, which makes me think their QA process isn't very thorough. The ability to easily store and manage data in the Elasticube is one of Sisense's strongest features. The available integrations make data ingestion straightforward, and the Compose SDK provides a flexible and modern way to embed analytics into products. The UI experience could be improved, particularly when dashboards are embedded into products using iFrames, where performance can sometimes be less than optimal. While the AI capabilities show promise, the platform would benefit from broader support for AI models and deeper integrations with additional model providers to offer more flexibility and choice. I appreciate the built-in DWH, with data security rules enforced through table relationships instead of having to apply them separately to each table. Sisense supports OEMs well, and with the Compose SDK toolkit, I can easily add things myself. It provides value for our customers and thus for us. I find that Sisense sometimes lags in terms of speed. Users cannot assemble datasets themselves as in other tools; this is custom work for us, takes a lot of time, and requires consultant involvement. Not everything can or do we want to do. I would like users to be able to do this themselves, so they can do more on their own. I like that Sisense is easy to use and flexible, making it valuable for both everyday data analysis and more advanced tasks. I find that the cube feature makes everything easy to visualize and keep track of, and using custom columns simplifies the process further. I like Sisense's ability to manipulate complex data and visualize it in a clear way. It is useful to have the option to change the type of join I use between custom tables, like using left join, right join, or outer join when linking tables together. Ease of navigation within the Elasticube has been disappointing. There's a bug where, after editing a table, clicking elsewhere in the cube causes the table I just edited to move to that location. This results in some unwanted joins being made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate that Sisense displays all the information I need in one place and I can smoothly use it within my platform. It's great that I can connect directly to different data sources and transform the data, so I can easily compare information from various sources. I also like that I can ask questions directly to my data for deeper analysis. Building dashboards with no code is a big plus, and I love that more technical users can customize views with scripts and more detailed coding, especially using the Compose SDK. The Compose SDK is super valuable for self-service BI as it allows me to customize everything and render views and widgets directly on my front end.
