I'm just new to it, so it's just the regular trials and tribulations of learning the technicalities of a new platform. They have provided so much documentation and the AI assistant, which has proven helpful. It's just the learning curve for me personally, not on them. The marketplace templates, although solid out of the box, could probably benefit from a little more from customizability. From my perspective, the most glaring feature that was missing out of the box was a search bar. We had to build in a custom search bar on the homepage, which took a few weeks to build. amazing support. they never left you in doubt. business model is really clever and they have done a good job with the product. i havent faced any bugs until now and that was absolutely crucial for my business. also very easy to use. a lot of cool features as well. essential core features, lots of customizability, however i think it need some more corefeatures and lots of general features. But its important to keep in mind that this kind of stuff really hard to develop, and considering they are already the best on the market(for this type of business model & my opinion)it is understandable so i didnt take any point out. In the base no-code subscription model, I think certain UI elements needs a fixing(for example keyword search when selected with location search. it looks like its obvious at the top, right belove the main search bar, however many ordinary users will probably fail to locate it. i think it needs somewhat more obvious location.) I think it would be great if they can make a survey to find out which UI elements are lacking in the no-code version. That would be great. The no-code option seemed a bit limited at first, but it's actually pretty solid if you take some time to figure out how the platform works (the help center is super comprehensive) and hook up with Zapier. Sharetribe's support has been awesome all along: they walked us through the basics when we started, connected us with Sharetribe Experts when we considered going dev-mode, and gave us more insights when we decided to stick with no-code.

What really stands out for us in giving them a 5-star review? The people. Seriously, their support is top-notch. When you reach out to Sharetribe, you're talking to real folks, not some automated response with links to random articles. They actually take the time to understand what you're dealing with and give you straightforward explanations, plus smart suggestions. YES! Thank you, really.

Plus, just after about a month of building our marketplace, they introduced a new feature that goes exactly in the direction of what we needed. That kind of proactive approach makes us really confident that Sharetribe will keep evolving to fit our needs—just what you want in a business partner.

I'd love to be able to add some CSS (or edit the texts size) and embedding some code (i.e. a newsletter subscribe form in the footer). But perhaps you're already working on a "customize your font" feature and on a "add an input field to the footer (and use Zapier to integrate with your email provider)".
