**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

As for infrastructure, the API is rock-solid and well-designed. We have a financial data API, we rent out our testing/validation hardware to B2B customers using Sharefox. We can easily plug it into our own CI/CD pipeline due to their API first design. We can provision rental units automatically for our clients’ testing cycles all within scripts, which is super efficient. The wall-to-wall storefront is also a benefit, because it provides our sales folks with a creditably professional look direct B2C and B2B exposure to customers without needing an engineer to develop one.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

This article introduced the YAGP (Yet Another Genomic Project) which is becoming possible even though there’s no public GUI available and no pre-configured pipeline. Custom scripts needed to be built for specific webhook events and data synchronization between Sharefox and our internal client management systems. The platform offers the resources, it’s building on those to enable deep automation that takes time.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was a good solution to our hardware logistics problem. Renting, shipping, maintaining specialized financial hardware on behalf of our users was a clumsy, error prone brute force management process that detracted the engineering team. Sharefox automates the whole commerce and fulfillment aspect. The major win is that our DevOps team can focus on what they do best: building our core product (our financial API), but on top of a solid automated piece, which just grows smoothly with our client base.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

The combination of Sharefox has really revolutionised the way we run our portable medical business. The power to know on a real-time basis the location, condition and maintenance window for (literally) thousands of devices, ranging from infusion pumps to ambulatory monitors is revolutionary. The self-service booking system is a tool that guarantees the right gear is where it should be at exactly the right time - almost doing away with any waiting around for patient care or hunting through departments to see which have what equipment.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

Deploying such a large solution in the wide-area network of an extensive healthcare organization was a major challenge. Change management was our biggest challenge; transitioning clinical staff away from the ad hoc, legacy process to a structured and automated system necessitated lots of training and communication around how it made their lives easier daily. The software was itself a potent tool, but its success was dependent on the rollout being very carefully staged.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addressed our main pain of asset visibility and utilization. We had millions of dollars’ worth of gear that was either underperforming, lost or not receiving scheduled maintenance. Sharefox is the single source of truth. "The results have been several fold: we get to optimize the use of existing assets, and also reduce capital expenditures; comply better with strict maintenance and sterilization protocols; and most importantly, help ensure that when our caregivers need equipment it is available."

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

Our digital transformation project lead, self service capabilities have been most meaningful. The ability to swap into products within their subscription on their own has been one of the biggest wins. It seemed to speak directly to our project goal of lowering administrative overhead. Together with self-service booking and pick-up/return system, we have brought to the market a modern customer experience that was delivered on time and has become an important competitive feature for us.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

Project Management The initial set up was quite complicated, perhaps too much for a project orientated view. It needed extensive testing and validation to map all possible product swap scenarios and bake the business rules into the system. Although the flexibility of this is a positive, it did mean we had to take into consideration the detailed set-up was done on our project timeline & that extensive user acceptance testing would need to take place ahead of launch and not after.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This initiative addressed two pain points that had grown increasingly frustrating and stale-life operations. We’ve excised the back-and-forth we used to require for changes and returns. This has resulted in two-fold gain: our KPI stats for my team now reflect a significant decrease to process time around customer modifications, and we have seen high jumps in customer satisfaction scores as empowered by the self-service portal.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

I’m a CEO, and I seek out solutions that lead to growth and reduce complexity. Sharefox delivers on both fronts. The visual and customizable website enabled us to have a professional looking, branded rental portal up in no time - without the need for a web agency. When coupled with the deep Danalock API integration, the entire user experience is frictionless: customers browse to us online, book and pay online then unlock the equipment directly from their phone. It serves as a genuine rental commerce platform, which was the strategic unlock that we needed.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

To maximize our investment, we needed to invest fully in the platform. We had to move our entire rental business onto it, which would require rejiggering some well-worn internal processes. The first transition was a couple months of the team working together on top, but between new efficiencies and new revenue it has been worth every hour.

It solved our digital identity crisis. We had a simple informative website, separate booking calendar and manual access controls. Sharefox consolidated everything. The upside is increased online booking and more satisfied customers who return. We are no longer just a rental company; we’re a tech-enabled service, and that is all due to this platform.

Being an entrepreneur, I require a system which does its heavy lifting and I get to do the growth. Sharefox does exactly that. The capability to provide IT hardware rentals and monthly subscriptions, all on one platform is amazing. The automatic invoicing and payment collection takes care of all the finance admin I used to grind hours away on. The learning curve was a little steeper than I thought it would be. The platform’s robust features can be overwhelming at first when trying to track down the specific settings you need (e.g., setting separate depreciation rules for different IT assets). It took a couple of weeks of constant use to get really comfortable navigating the whole thing without looking info up in the help docs.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved our chaos. We were relying on a hodgepodge of spreadsheets, calendar apps and manual PayPal invoices. Items got lost, double-booked and undercharged. Sharefox consolidated everything: the inventory, bookings, contracts and payments. The largest advantage has been scale; I now have an organization of a professional nature able to handle 10x the volume without requiring me to hire additional office staff: thus I can actually grow the practice profitably.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

The feature that is great for us is the self-service feature. The customer portal feature which enables our members to switch out their product every month of membership has saved us soooo much admin time! This, together with the clever pickup & return booking system gives our customers empowerment and a more modern, smooth experience that leaves the dinosaurs scratching their heads. The cooperation with EVVA in access control now provides additional automation of the pickup/return process, offering an even more seamless solution.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

With such feature rich functionality it's essential to have clear vision of how we want our overall workflow before adding in these more granular product swap and subscription rules. It was a bit of work to map our business process to the tool in order for everything to well together without manual interaction. This up-front investment in the design is essential to realise the full self-serve capability.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharefox has also addressed two significant issues: the high amount of administrative effort required for changes to subscriptions and a lack of competitive, automated customer service. Allowing customers to make swaps themselves and self-service booking means that my team are freed up from all those unglamorous change requests, allowing us to focus on more strategic operational issues. The upside is a tremendous competitive advantage through increased efficiency and now for the very first time we can offer the level of convenience that acquires and keeps customers.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

The subscription and booking options have been game changing for our revenue model. Being a Commercial Director, I appreciate that Sharefox scales to the needs we have and suits on us as well. The automatic subscription payments system is amazingly powerful and admin-friendly: it bills our customers without requiring any action on their end, leaving us quite a bit of time for the actual content and marketing side of things! In addition, the fact that it’s built for B2C and intricate B2B rental requirements, all from a single platform with no need for separate systems, means we have one truth across our entire business.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

The infrastructure isn't exactly plug and play, especially for very specific custom business rules. The platform is powerful, so there are nuances in implementation to make sure everything works right for the way you work. But that's a small concession compared to long term flexibility and control once programmed.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharefox altered the very way in which we think about going to market. The biggest plus is that we can test new revenue streams, such as subscriptions services, without having to invest in additional systems or development. The platform’s flexibility allows us to roll out a new rental model fast. With this flexibility, we can seize opportunities in the market quicker than our competitors using one organized system instead of several disjointed systems (one for payment processing, another for inventory management and yet another for customer management) -that drives results straight to our bottom line.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

Our fitness equipment subscription service wouldn't be the same without the product swap option. It enables our members to seamlessly transition from one product to the next themselves in their customer portal, significantly reducing the amount of phone calls and emails that my operations team has to manage for basic product changes. That, together with a built-in pick-up/return booking system (in the app) is making us extremely competitive. It feels like a modern, convenient service that members are passionate about. The product catalog is also very good I was able to assign compatible swap paths for the various gear profiles with ease. Usability is key for our end-users, and Sharefox provides that.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

The flexibility made the initial setup difficult…so once we could get around figuring out and documenting, in minute detail, our complicated swap rules and product hierarchies within the catalog. The list of features is massive and it did take my team some time to get really good at the platform and feel like they were taking advantage in all areas. Customer support did feel responsive, however at times we would have to wait for answers with special (e.g., advanced) configuration questions that were closely tied to health and safety plan protocols.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Sharefox, there were a lot of man hours consumed to administratively manage equipment swaps. Our use of forms, spreadsheets and calendar invites led to problems and unhappy members. Sharefox fixed this issue by automating the entire swapping process. The benefit is a huge cut down of the administrative overhead that allows my team to focus on the member experience and facility management rather than paperwork. This polished and streamlined self-service portal has boosted member retention rates and satisfaction, which positively affects our bottom line. Our subscription services feel premium and flexible.

As CDO for the revolution of our rental & subscription products, Sharefox is an integral part of our online strategy. The platform's standout accomplishment is its ability to automatically handle recurring payments, making for a smooth and "set-it-and-forget-it" source of revenue that helps in increasing cash flow predictability and frees up staff time. More importantly, its infrastructure inherently accommodates B2C and B2B rental models on the same platform - a functionality that has proved invaluable to us. We can do both short-term consumer equipment rentals and long-term corporate leases without separate systems.” Product and catalog management are strong enough to offer flexibility in handling a complex environmental inventory. Language support is important to us as well, and we wanted Frappe / ERPNext because it didn't force us to be an English first business.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

Although it is very powerful, the large number of capabilities comes with a high initial learning barrier. During implementation, we needed to provide a dedicated cross-functional team from our end which would effectively map the complex retail processes that our business operated into the platform. There is an advanced options of catalog domain in b2b which not so intuitive and needed support for utilising it. But beyond that spadework, the logic of the system snaps into focus and its power is unleashed.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharefoxc are trying to solve our fundamental problem in digital monetization for rental. We've consolidated multiple systems (calendars, spreadsheets, separate payment processor) into a single system. Just the automated payment feature had provided enough value to banish late payments, and cut down our AR load by a rough 60 percent. The advantage is dual: we achieve enhanced financial operational efficiency and a superior customer experience with seamless transactions. In addition, by choosing a single platform that can scale and apply to both B2c and BB use cases it future proofs our investment and allows us create consistent, branded customer journey regardless of which consumer type we are serving. This integration is one of the core elements in our digital transformation strategy.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

As an efficiency and brand representation focused operating partner, the best feature to me is the customisable website that comes included with it’s visual editor. But before Sharefox, we had a generic site that was never properly updated bringing our professionalism into question and making the renting experience of our customers renting us our Danalock smart locks clunky. The visual editor is great - we're now at a place where our marketing team don't need to loop in development to make tweaks, the templates work well out-of-the box. We control the structure and design, so our brand always shines through — from that first ad a customer sees to last checkout page. The added simplicity of integration was another big win. It was also quick and easy to integrate our Danalock products with the platform so that inventory levels, prices, and availability now update automatically on our handsome new site. This really replaces as an all in one rental commerce platform, the three to four different software subscriptions we were juggling before.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

But with so many functionalities that come built into the platform, ease of use at launch also means a heavy learning and configuring curve. I found that the learning curve came when I set up all of the product variants and fine-tuned automated workflows for the first time. Though the customer service was quick to respond when we contacted them, it took quite some time in their knowledge base and tutorials before we were confident that we had a comprehensive understanding of setup. I'd call it more of a tradeoff and not exactly a dislike per se -- that is, a system can't be as powerful and complete without being complex. Now that everything is in place, I use it daily and it works quite well.

Sharefox fixed our fragmented and unprofessional online presence. We had a pretty website to make us look cool, and a separate clunky thing for booking, and then we filled out spreadsheets so I could see what inventory I had. Nothing talked to each other. Sharefox merged all into one powerful system. “There are several key advantages, beyond the financial aspects, but I would think that the most apparent benefit is we’re now able to offer a completely professional, seamless and reliable experience from top to bottom. Customers view our embedded Danalock products on this snazzy web site, book and pay immediately and all confirmations and access codes are sent directly to them. It has directly translated into higher site conversion rate and fewer administrative queries, enabling us to scale our operations without scaling overhead.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

My role as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) is to produce cohesive digital experiences woven into the fabric of doing business. Sharefox has been key in our digitalization of the rental industry. At its heart, the strength of the platform is that it’s a true all-in-one online store. The modern calendar is not only a booking system, but it's the lifeblood that integrates seamlessly with an advanced stock control system dealing with intricate product sets and variations. This was highly important to us as an integration point. Being able to show inventory multiple different ways allowed us to customize the customer journey for our different user segments, driving more engagement. What’s the implementation like? The architecture (both from a logical and documentation perspective) of the platform is sound which also made it relatively easy for us to integrate that into our tech stack (which includes Assa Abloy access systems). The multi-language, multi-currency support was a big win for our global operations as well, and removed a lot of the barrier to entry that we had with other solutions.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

With its vast collection of features, though, Time and effort must be dedicated to getting Skype for Business Online properly set up and configured so you can make the most out of it. There is a such a wealth of options in their product catalog management, so this can be strengths as well as weaknesses. We had to be sure that our product taxonomy and its variant structure was rock solid before going live, for the benifit of our end-users.  The customer service team was indeed helpful at this stage, and assisted the team in overcoming these challenges.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharefox takes aim at one of the industry's most pressing issues - digital fragmentation. We used to manage rentals through a fragmented ecosystem of independent e-commerce, calendar, inventory, and payment processing solutions. That led to inefficiencies in operations, data silos and a clunky customer experience. Sharefox unites the capabilities in one platform. The most important gain is that we provide better experience to our end-users. Now they have a clear, simple and trustworthy booking journey from search to return. At the business-level, it’s resulted in more online bookings as well as a decrease in administrative errors and greater resource utilisation. The powerful extensibility options future-proof our business, so that we can create a connected ecosystem around the Sharefox hub.

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

As a CDO, I am tasked with driving digital transformation, which we have done with HES LoanBox. The ability of the platform to go white label was essential because it allowed us to launch a fully branded, seamless digital mortgage journey in our own name. This was critical due to the nature of trust. Real estate is known to be a very relationship-based business, especially when it comes to lending. It was easy to integrate with our KYC partner and property valuers, something that was not as easy to do with other platforms. We now have an all-in-one solution instead of many tools thanks to closures and servicing along with end-to-end automation, beginning from the application.

**What do you dislike about Sharefox?**

The original setup for complex multi-phase construction draw management needed a lot of custom scripting. Even though HES team help me out greatly in making this, I would like to see more native, templated functionality to allow for construction lending and other complex real estate products in the future.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Sharefox, our rental process relied on phone calls, spreadsheets, and manual calendars. We lack the visibility and understanding of what’s trending in real-time. Further, how customers interact on our brand online. Our website is not just a brochure anymore; it is now our primary sales and marketing tool. I check the platform every day to see which products are getting the most views and bookings, which in turn feeds into our content and paid social strategy.



It has become a great tool for social listening and reputation management. Having a centralized system would allow me to easily spot customer feedback and reviews for opportunities to fix problems and positive mentions that I could use for testimonials. Now we report to our CEO using clear charts showing revenue, best-selling products, and top-performing marketing channels. No longer guesswork, we’re now having conversations backed by data. Through Sharefox, we do not only get a rental system but a digital commerce and brand monitoring hub.

Sharefox is a truly versatile rental software that offers far more than just the basics. The platform is very user-friendly, making daily operations smoother for both staff and customers.

The system has integrated payment flows with the admin. Previously we were loosing money on getting paid for late returns, and damage claims. With the integrated booking and payment system, our customers order online and we can make use of extra charges and deposits.

Overall, Sharefox rental software works. We’ve been able to get rid of our own legacy system, including spreadsheets and calendars which were not effective, and use a single tool to manage our rental business. New features are coming all the time, and we are now expanding with new departments and business opportunities together with the Sharefox platform

**What do you like best about Sharefox?**

What I like most about this software is that it adapts to any rental business needs irrespective of inventory size. My company manages different rental products for events and occasions, and we have a pretty vast inventory in our warehouse. With Sharefox rental software, we’ve been able to manage our inventory better. I also like that it is user-friendly, intuitive, and has all the features that any rental company needs to grow.

It’s hard to point out a dislike. The software works perfectly fine.

**What problems is Sharefox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most significant benefit for us is inventory management. We had challenges managing our huge inventory, and we lost track of which products were available in the warehouse and which had been rented out. It led to double bookings and underutilization of certain items for a long time. With Sharefox, we were able to resolve these issues.
