As Localization Project & Administrative Officer at Euro Localization Germany UG, I don’t have dedicated IT staff to help manage email outreach, so I need a tool I can pick up quickly. The drag-and-drop editor lets me rapidly build notifications containing Formeer links for client project requests and freelancer onboarding forms. I regularly save finished templates for repeated use, so I don’t rewrite the same outreach text every time a localization project finishes. The audience segmentation feature is extremely useful. I can separate contacts into active clients, potential partners and freelance linguists. Last month, I sent recruitment paperwork only to newly interviewed translators instead of messaging every contact on our roster, keeping our communications professional and avoiding unnecessary spam. The basic reporting dashboard clearly displays open and click rates, helping me spot which groups of freelancers rarely respond to form reminders so I can adjust my follow-up rhythm. I also notice much better deliverability to German mailboxes compared to our previous tool Moosend. Far fewer of our form invitations get filtered into spam folders. The built-in GDPR features automatically handle unsubscribe links and consent tracking, which lowers compliance risks when processing personal data of translators and European customers. Even though there is no native connection with Formeer and I have to process CSV imports manually, Selzy delivers exactly the core features our small team needs. It balances practical functionality without loading us with complicated marketing features we will never use. **What do you dislike about Selzy?** The biggest headache in my daily workflow is the absence of official native integration with Formeer, our primary form creation platform. I constantly export contact information from our internal project database, tidy messy CSV data and manually upload updated groups into Selzy. Not long ago, I rushed to send follow-up reminders for translator registration forms and encountered UTF-8 encoding errors during file upload. A whole batch of newly recruited linguists never received invitations, slowing our talent recruitment timeline and forcing me to send supplementary emails one by one. Selzy’s automation module is also quite restrictive. I hoped to create automatic workflows: send an initial project feedback form after work completes, then send reminders only to recipients who have not submitted responses. Currently, there is no way to automatically remove contacts once they fill out a Formeer form. I must manually filter non-respondent lists before every reminder campaign. On one occasion this oversight caused completed applicants to receive duplicate follow-up messages, leaving an unprofessional impression on our freelance partners. Moreover, the built-in template library is heavily geared toward retail marketing. There are almost no ready-made layouts suitable for B2B translation service notices, client intake forms and freelancer communications. I need to rebuild nearly every notification template from scratch, eating into my project coordination time. The whole initial migration process was also labor intensive; multilingual name encoding issues frequently triggered import failures when transferring contact lists over from Moosend.
