  ### 1. Highly recommend Push Press CORE (it's really great!) but do not recommend Push Press GROW.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

Push Press CORE is great. I would highly recommend it. They keep improving it, customer support is fast & capable, and it's generally easy to learn. It's the only software that I have that has noticeably improved in a dramatic fashion over time. I would give CORE a 9/10. The AI agents they are working on sound amazing and will create a lot of value. I only see this software getting better and more useful. Within a year all of the things an admin assistant does for you will be easy for you to do yourself.

There are some new features for GROW I haven't tried yet and for some people they might be really valuable (e.g. Chat GPT or equivalent powered chat bot, voice AI assistant to answer the phone, etc.) but right now I would give GROW a 5/10 at best. I feel like they are focused on all these fancy things when it fails to do the basics well.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Push Press GROW has been a net negative for my business.

The default workflows are poorly designed and have caused me repeated headaches and damaged my brand. I have lost sales because I trusted their default workflows. You can't trust their "out of the box" workflows.

Since the default workflows aren't very good you are better off making your own workflows from scratch and saving yourself some money.

The email marketing widget is weak. They don't even use it themselves for their email marketing. For example you can't embed more than one link into an email using the email marketing widget in GROW.

Lastly, while it's getting better CORE & GROW are not integrated particularly well.

In CORE my gross revenue figure shouldn't include sales tax collected. If you're in a jurisdiction that includes a sales tax their financial reports aren't as helpful since you need to go digging to find the "real" numbers.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated billing, mobile app for clients to book themselves in, shared calendar/scheduling, they are working on some really cool/helpful AI features for CORE.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

At first, I loved the product.  It's super easy to use and is very user friendly.  We came from Zen Planner, which is just terrible.  But the longer I use PushPress, the more I love the people who work there.  Their patience, their willingness to hop on call after call, and their genuine care made the change not only bearable, but honestly one of the best decisions we’ve made.  Shout out to TJ, Dave, Greg, Rudy, Nate and Matt (who makes me laugh on the regular).  And this list makes me wonder, where are the ladies at?

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Oh that intercom can be tricky!  Sometimes we have issues in the evening or weekend so we have to wait for staff.  You have to type out your issue and hope it makes sense (sometimes there’s a back and forth to explain the answer).  And sometimes you ask your question and have to wait several hours and then a PP person responds but then you’re busy.  Sometimes the response is I’ll work on that for you and get back to you - what does that mean?  When? 
There’s no titles or tracking in the intercom so if you want to revisit a question you’ve asked about, it’s impossible to find.  It would be great if could put a subject line on the intercom.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thank God for Grow - it sends ALL the automated texts and emails and saves me so much time!

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I like the easy payments from the members, which makes managing finances simpler. I also find PushPress to be an excellent management tool for my gym. It makes everything more user-friendly and provides ease of use. The initial setup was pretty easy, even though it was about five or six years ago.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I'm having technical difficulties with sending my member's email or payment link through PushPress, and it took a while for Jason and his team to get back to me, though they did resolve it eventually. I think the credit card interest rate can always improve. I wish there were more options than just using Stripe, like other merchants that could be helpful.

Ask all the questions you need from other gym software companies.

I really like the potential of what PushPress can do for my gym.

I was hoping for a little bit better customer service. I feel like it's there, but it's just slow. We kinda were onboarded a little bit because we were in a hurry to transfer over. It was kind of a rush to get us in and switch platforms, and now I kinda feel like I don't really know how to use the system as well as I could. On Grow, I know nothing about it or am not handy with that type of lead nurturing. I definitely need to learn. It wasn't as fast as we thought it was gonna be.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I really like PushPress because it has significantly reduced the amount of hours I spend doing administrative work. It collects everything in one place, such as payments, member profiles, waivers, and belt ranks, making it easy to use. Their support team is always there to help, and if they don't know the answer, they find it out and help me understand completely. Even their AI is very helpful, often answering my questions right away. The initial setup was very easy, as it just asked for information I was familiar with, and it was easy to send out invites to all the members. Most everybody understood it right away.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I find the ranking system a bit limiting. It would be cool if it could be curated to better fit how we rank. Also, I'd like to upload documents and information for our members in the PushPress app that they can just read, like adult stripe test requirements, that way it is at their finger tips.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PushPress cuts down administrative work significantly, saving hours each week. It simplifies managing member profiles and payments, and allows members to handle their information. It's easy to use and combines everything—payments, waivers, profiles—in one place.  I like that I don't have mountains of papers to look through or make my own data spreadsheets anymore.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I love the seamless class sign-up and information update process for athletes without any hassle. The customer service is much better than our previous company, and it's also cheaper. I find the customer service and ease of product use to be the best. Troubleshooting issues in real-time with support is amazing. PushPress is much easier to use compared to our last system, and the chatbot often helps when I can't find something. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the setup wizard and our onboarding call, which went smoothly.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I would like for our athletes to be able to set up recurring class reservations. I know staff can do that, but letting athletes have the option would be great.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use PushPress for membership management and class reservations. Athletes can sign up for classes and update information easily. The customer service is better and real-time support is amazing. It's cheaper and easier to use than our previous system.

You aren't really guided on how to utilise everything particularly well though the team is responsive and do answer questions reasonable quickly.

Overall it is just a nice tidy system that keeps our membership base organised well.

I find the staff app lacking because it could be better. We should be able to set sessions on the staff app. Also, the communication between calendars isn't great. Having the calendars link up better and show who is in the session on Google Calendar would be massively helpful.

Update!!!
Proud to be part of the PushPress family since 2021! We are using about 90% of all PushPress platforms: 
Core, Grow, Website, and the Members Only app—and the experience has been fantastic!!!  We even gave the Train feature a try; while it wasn’t the right fit for us, the process was still smooth and pleasant.

What stands out most is how supportive and forward-thinking the PushPress team is. The onboarding process for Grow was initially a bit over my head, but I’m impressed with how far the platform has come in such a short time. The new learning and educational tools they’ve rolled out are incredibly helpful—not just for new users, but also for longtime clients who need a quick refresher or deeper understanding of the software.

We feel supported and empowered by PushPress. It’s more than just software—it’s a team that grows with you.

We were eagerly anticipating the updates to the Appointments feature and PushPress delivered! 

They truly listened to what their clients needed and went above and beyond in their execution.

One of my favorite updates is the ability to block off my schedule with recurring, unpaid/booked appointments—it’s such a game changer for managing my time more effectively. I also love that I can now create hybrid plans for my members, allowing them to attend group classes and receive one-on-one sessions without making them feel like they’re being nickel and dimed for à la carte services.

I feel like life got easier with this updates!!

I feel the most area of improvement that would be helpful is when new features are released, and there are bugs or hiccups with the upgrades to invest the time and resources to fixing the problem instead of moving on to the next project and the "new release" is not 100% functional.

I’m coming from running 3 different platforms to using just Push Press, need I say more?  Members are delighted that everything is in one app (reserving class in one app and logging metrics into another was a pain) , I’m delighted with the functionality of it!  I’m still learning all the cool tins it can do and hoping to add Grow in soon!

I’m GenX so I always want a phone number over a chat box, that being said I’ve had my issues resolved in a timely fashion so it might just be time for me to embrace the current technology 👵🏻

For one the programming and Gym Management is all on one app so my members reserve their class and enter their scores in one place which believed or not was huge for the entire gym!   I’ve gotten rid of MailChimp because I just mail out of the system now I got rid of Sugar because push press tracks the workouts now it’s just been wonderful!

What I like best about PushPress is how easy it is to use. Everything from scheduling classes to managing memberships and billing is simple and smooth. It saves us a ton of time. Also, it is super user-friendly. The branded app is the best service provided by PushPress. Everyone has been enjoying it and are excited.  On top of that, the customer support is unmatched. Anytime we’ve had a question or needed help with implementation, the PushPress team has been quick, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Navigating between some features isn’t always intuitive at first, but once you learn the flow, it becomes easier to manage. That said, these are minor compared to how well the system works overall, and the PushPress team is always updating and improving the platform.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PushPress is solving the problem of managing multiple gym operations in one place. Before, we were juggling separate tools for scheduling, billing, member check-ins, and programming. Now, everything is centralized and easy to manage. This has saved us a lot of time, reduced errors, and made the experience smoother for both staff and members. Automation features handle billing and reminders, so we can focus more on coaching and growing the community — not paperwork. It’s also helped improve member engagement by giving them a simple way to check in, view workouts, and stay connected through the app.

I like how everything is all in one place, e.g., billing, appointments, retail etc. I hate having a different applications for every single thing in my business.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Honestly, Train left a lot to be desired. We actually just kept SugarWOD (even though I'm not a fan of that either) because Train was too "clunky" from a programming aspect. Personally I would like to see something more like CoachRx from a programming perspective, which is what I use for my 1:1 clients. But even we got to something closer to SugarWOD with Train and were able to easily transfer all my members' data to Train we would switch.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to manage my members for group class and my 1:1 clients (except for the actual workout programming) is great. Scheduling appointments is easy. Reaching out and nurturing leads in Grow has been great. It was just Train that was a miss for us.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

The versatility and opportunities it gives you as a new business owner and the possibilitys to grow in the future. The easy to use and understand setup of the system and high number of features.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

That there are a few bugs now and then in the system that make it sometimes hard to understand the baseline of work that needs to be done. For example the overview of transaction fees but then the real fees sometimes dffer because of unforseen bugs or weird situations. 
And the change from miruni to BUGHERD. The admins in BUGHEARD just seem to be different and not really prone to work. They often tell you, "that is something you can do yourself". Well, no otherwise I would have done it.

The menagement of my hole dayly workflow, lead nurture, member nurture and everyday things including finance.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

I no longer have to chase people down and ask for payment or keep track of how many sessions someone has attended or the date their membership expires.  I'm making substantially more money, even after accounting for the small fee, because the details are taken care of for me.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

It is not the most intuitive software (this is not my specialty to begin with), I have had to ask their AI Chatbot a lot of questions to get set up.  That being said, the Chatbot is very helpful and there has been nothing that I haven't been able to figure out.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of members, payments, schedules, and punch cards, allows me to focus on the parts of my business that I'm actually good at.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

PushPress checked all the boxes for what I was needing for my boutique fitness startup. I wanted a way to track (and take online payments for) digital punchcards and memberships, and I needed it to be cheap or free. The free version of PushPress Core is everything I need until my business has grown enough to need the additional features of the paid version. The staff at PushPress is extremely helpful and obviously passionate about what they do. I have also been listening to the PushPress podcast and have found it very helpful. I have told everyone I know who could use PushPress that they need to check it out!

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

The hardest thing for me has been finding a streamlined way of communicating with my members through the free version, but the paid version has features that resolve this issue. I am just not financially ready to upgrade yet.
When I first started using PushPress core, the AI bot was pretty annoying. The questions I had were about obscure things, so the bot wasn't able to give me helpful answers. Now, about 4-6 weeks later, it seems that it has learned quite a bit and is much more helpful.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The free version is the most complete gym management system I could find. This offering is an example of how PushPress is passionate about helping gym owners grow their business. They didn't hold back on features that help me do my job well. I have everything I need until I can afford to upgrade.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

My workflows for my personal training and small group training business are well-designed.  I was mostly looking for software that would streamline my processes, particularly around CRM, onboarding, and class reservations.  

In the end, having a bunch of separate apps that did what I wanted was far preferable to PushPress.  They have obviously cobbled together a lot of different solutions, and none of them are very good on their own.  Unfortunately I only realized this after a very challenging implementation and about 4 weeks of spending hours in the system each day.     

I would only recommend this software if you're running large group fitness with the same workouts for everyone, and you have multiple staff to setup and run the software.  

I would also start with just the Core feature to see if the basics serve your needs, since the class reservation portion is fine.  The system declined in value for me as I transitioned off HubSpot for CRM and Trainerize for programming.

I wanted to solve the problem of too much administrative overhead and too many apps.  In the end they created more problems then they solved.

Support has been slow to respond, they have the AI chat tool which tries to handle your questions but when you have a theory or a complex question it just can’t help.

All in one setup. My old setup I had I was updating the web site and making sure the lead forms and call to action all worked. Now it is all handled.

We have been using PushPress for a while now. Since moving into management I have learned so much about what PushPress really does. Most recently we have switch from the old school white board sign up mentality and ran our OPEN heats thru PushPress. It has saved our staff so much time. 

We have also found the committed club features on the members app very helpful. This gives back time to our coaches who were heading this program in the gym. 

Questions and concerns get answered quickly and PushPress staff is always happy and accommodating.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Recently we have been struggling with things moving around. Our SOPs are continuously outdated. Sometimes we have to search for things.

PushPress is helping solve member disconnect. Thru the social aspect of our members app as well as retention when it comes to committed club features. Adults go crazy for stickers.

PushPress does everything I need it to do, and the customer support is fantastic! The number of features is truly incredible: point of sale, kiosk mode, membership management, coach management, class scheduling, communication tool, marketing, lead generation, and the list goes on.

There are a few bugs that still need to be worked out of the Train app. The comment feature between athlete and coach hasn't been working correctly. The athlete can see all the comments, but the coach cannot.

The software is so easy to use. Customer support during migration has been outstanding. I really don't know why I held off switching for so long. Should have done it years ago. My clients are loving their new app to book classes and track workouts.

Pushpress is the only gym management software that is designed to actually help your gym grow. The ease of use, appealing designs, and flexible tools are all great. Where pushpress really stands out is the Grow product. It makes me feel like a pro on my numbers and I always know what I need to do to continue improving my business.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

Pushpress is a constantly growing product which is great, but there are some features that I would like to see more of. For instance, the way Train organizes individual movements and custom movements can be difficult to use. I would like to see a feature that helps better track progress in repeated lifts.

I'd also like to see a simpler interface for interacting with clients and leads that are trying to get a hold of me. Sometimes they get lost in the pipeline feature and I don't catch them for a few days simply because they aren't on my immediate dashboard.

Keeping track of my numbers. I always can see where we're at on KPI's for any given time.

My only regret is going with literally anyone else first. The UI takes a little getting used to at first because it's SO flexible, but there are just so many options for ways to manage your gym membership and product inventory in a seamless way. And as awesome as the interface is, unmatched is the customer support and tech support. I have had people emailing me back about absolutely trivial feature requests at 10:00 p.m. on a Friday. The team is unrelenting in their pursuit of quality customer care. Whatever else happens with my gym, push press has been the foundation that has gotten us as far as we have gotten.

The only thing I wish they had was some kind of external card swiper interface. And the ability to attach PDF documents to individual members

I love how easy it is to use! The system is very intuitive and easy to manage. I took over from a previous owner and it was a quick and easy to set up. Customer support was also super helpful in making sure we got everything transferred correctly. 

I use the platform every single day.  I can quickly look up members, see their stats, and contact them directly through the platform as needed. My members also appreciate the updated member app that makes it super easy to check into class, preorder merchandise, and see their own check in stats.

Inreally appreciate the ongoing education and feature highlights from the company have been incredibly useful for me in learning how to best leverage this platform to support my business.

**What do you dislike about PushPress?**

I frequently have to run reports to get check in metrics, coach stats,  monthly membership overviews, etc. I would love to set quick links or widgets on the main dashboard for the things I'm always looking for.

**What problems is PushPress solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of clients. For a long time our business functioned mostly on an honor system because we had no way to check people in live on site. This allows me to keep track of attendance, get waivers signed, and even bill clients through the app on my phone. It also helps me keep track of their progress and cheer them on.

I don't love the staff app.  I still prefer to check our members in on the website.  The app is just slow to use. This may be me and I need to try it more, but initially...I didn't love it.

**What do you like best about PushPress?**

Our branded app is amazing, I was able to build it out to be match our branding and it's very user friendly for all of our members. It's a one stop shop for our members to book their classes, view the workouts, buy new plans and have access to our social feed where I as the gym owner consistently post updates on anything from events, lost & found items, celebrating members milestones and schedule/class updates. 

The Grow app has also been a game changer for our business, everything from texts, emails and phone calls are all streamedlined through this app making it easy for me to stay on top of leads coming in, exisiting members communication, automated texts that are sent out to our trial members as well as the ability to have a business phone number connected to Grow. 

Lastly, on the financial side of things Core makes it super easy for me to know where I'm standing with monthly revenue, my taxes collected, the payroll for my coaches as well as one of my favourite features is the ability to have an in depth look at class check-ins. Everything from check-ins per member, check-ins per class type, check-ins per class time and check-ins per day of the week, making it easier for me as owner/manager to make decisions on which classes need to be adjusted or reviewed to create a better performance.

I think one thing that PushPress could improve is their Screens app, it definitely does the job, but would love to have it more customizable to match our branding  - I've spoken to the team I know it's something their working on.

PushPress is fantastic from top to bottom, they have a free option if your just getting started or a small operation. If your serious about building and managing your business their GROW system is a must!! It's like my personal assistant, from automation workflows for member touch points and managing/organizing all forms of communication from emails, texts, calls and even social media messages all in one place. Their customer service team is top notch and always there whenever you need help. Every person I interact with is a real person who truly understands what it takes to run a business. Great people and great company!! I highly recommend them.

I'm not a very tech person and I know their system offers way more then I can understand right now. But they do occasionally have educational pieces office hours to call in and talk to those who can teach you more. One step at a time and adding in more features as I'm ready.

They are saving me time so I can do what I opened a gym to do. Help people get better!!

We moved from Wodify and have had a much better customer experience on PushPress. The reason why I gave a high review is because of GROW. It has helped automate a lot of work that was very time consuming and the system does it more efficiently than we ever did manually. Having the website linked to purchasing has been key as well. It's been great to be able to make our own updates to the website rather than having to wait.

It would be great if the no show and late cancellation fees were automated. This can be a little time consuming.
