I use PrimeRx to process Rx for patients and I can print the labels and report for the patient whenever I need them

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

PrimeRx has revolutionized the way we manage our pharmacy. Since its implementation, we have seen a significant improvement in efficiency and accuracy in prescription handling. Its intuitive interface stands out, allowing our staff to quickly adapt and handle daily tasks with greater ease. The phone number used to patients calls is identified as Spam. In Puerto Rico some useful functions are not avaliable or the local support company is not prepared to support all.

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

PrimeRx makes it easy for us to locate prescriptions and see where it is at in our queue. It is a great tool to use when billing and very straight to the point when teaching our other staff how to use it. From inputting the patient, the prescription to billing and filling, PrimeRx makes it easy. We use it everyday to assisy our patients.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

User manual can be a little tricky when trying to trouble shoot on your own.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently with out line of work, Prime is able to assist with helping us make many changes on the spot when needed.

That they call you same day to fix any issues. Has cool secret techniques for patient profiles and filling rx's.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

It tends to get stuck, or alow down as we are working on the system.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems are being solved at the moment. It benefits me in the way that i can look up pt history and backgrounds, has a wide search engine for MD's f=lookup, and stores lots of information.

It is very customizable. Every pharmacy is different so this is a great feature.

I would like to have the qty available for a NDC and package size listed on the RXV screen.

They are solving problems where prescriptions don't go to the right que.  This helps us quickly take care of patients.

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

Interfaces with a lot of different software but everything comes with additional cost. I wish they could add a nominal fee and make it a package deal.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

The Customer service helpdesk is extremely diffucult to work with. They are very rude and speak as though they are talking to a IT professional and  are judgemental in their tone. Language may be a barrier as well. MMS needs to screen to ensure that they have customer facing personnel to be able to communicate well.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use them only for PMS and nothing more. So there no additional benefits of the system for us currently.

Our account representative is super responsive and eager to help with issues that are identified. It's relatively easy to use once you get trained on the system. It can be used with pharmacies who offer additional clinical services because of their assessment feature.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

After our account representative reports the issues to the appropriate department, response from that department can take a lot of time. Additionally, the representatives aren't always the friendliest and aren't always able to address the issue(s).

The amount of features this pharmacy management software offers is more than everyone in the industry

PrimeRx is for an intermediate user because of the amount of options it has, but once you get used to it - you cannot go back to anything else.

PrimeRx is letting us connect to their data which is helping us tremendously with our own reporting applications that lets us customize our workflow to our exact needs.

The value of the product considering the price/cost of competitors and the ability to get any issue resolved in the same day due to superior customer service.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

Add-on services have starte dto increase the cost of the product -- wish there was a "bundle" or loyalty discount for long time users. Also, the abiity to have DIR fees automatically put in based on a formularly rather than manually as they are now.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It integrates with my front end so that when customers pick up a prescription and also make front end purchases, the two are combined. PrimeRx also has an easy way to manage prescription medication inventory.

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

Great software with an intuitive user interface. I couldn't find any function that isn't already present in this software. They have a very responsive support team that is always there to help you. A special mention goes to Khemraj and Mike, who are our go-to guys for all our questions.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

There is nothing I don't like about this software, but I'd like it if we could do everything ourselves and not have to bother with the support team.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used a lot of pharmacy management software, but none comes as close to solving our problem as PrimeRx. The support team is great and always on their toes, the software is intuitive and fast and it has everything we need to comply with Hipaa regulations.

Primerx is user friendly. Easy is to learn and works well. Customer service is not that great but be a help at times.

Customer service. Many agents don't know what they are doing. Since we have known this program for a while we fix the problem on our own.

Not a problem but a solution to process claims and be a help to my patients. So far so good

Prime RX was somewhat easyto learn and get started. I like the enter RX page and  think it flows well.

What I dislike is the inventory and some of the reports connected to it.

Support staffs are very knowlegable and puctual. They are able to fix issues in a timely fashion and are ver resposive

Nothing at all. The only thing to caomplain about is the cost for different programs might add up

Any software issues related to prescription processing are handled online and it makes it so easier to get access at anytime and even off hours

Easy to Manuver, Easy to access, Easy to read, Easy to use, User friendly and also great support staff team with 24 hours access. It comes with lots of updates that cators to different type of users.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

Nothing really stands out, the only thing that can use a little update is the aesthetic of the software is not really pretty, Asides from that everything else is excellent

We use Prime rx as our pharmacy management softwawre in terms of clinical aspect and also billing aspect. Its the sole software we use everyday without it the pharmacy wont operate

easy to use, system allows you to multitask and figure things outs on your own

not everyone knows the answers, you get lucky sometimes and get someone knowledgable and then sometimes you spend hours on the phone with someone who is not.

it allows me to find the drug NDC very easy and keep inventory on hand

Ease of use, lots of features that are applicable to every day processing, nice payment system, great for users that process a high volume of prescriptions, very responsive customer support team.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

Implementation and training were not as smooth as we would have liked, the payment processing delays cause the amount collected per day to not match the amount submitted into the bank (it does end up there, but its more difficult to balance the books).

Seamless ability to track outstanding medications and patient copays

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

What I like best about PrimeRX is how easy it is to navigate the workflow process when creating a prescription. There is a live workflow panel on the left side of the screen, allowing users to manage prescription workflow, which is an advantage compared to competitors. It also has a top panel that allows the pharmacy to access patient history, refills, data entry, document batch scans, prescriber information, and drug information.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

Some of the dislikes I have with PrimeRX are technical issues that have arisen on busy days. These include the application not wanting to load or not clicking out of a particular screen due to a glitch. Therefore, you have to restart the application while losing all your work and putting pharmacy operations to a halt until resolved by technical support.

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeRx:**

PrimeRX may be confusing for new users due to all the different features available, especially for a brand new pharmacy with relatively no volume, since you wont use a majority of the features. But customer support is great and quick.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems solved with PrimeRX are inventory management, patient medication adherence, and compound medication reports. I have realized benefits from being able to track medication inventory daily and manage the workflow process for receiving, typing, filling, and dispensing medications effectively.

Easy to use and teach the system, very useful when starting a pharmacy and onboarding new staff.

There is a learning curve with the options and how to tailor them all to your state-specific needs.  Integration is a bit time-consuming (SMP, PMP, MTM services, messaging, Digital Pharmacist, etc.)  However, tech support is great and will help with anything.  the messaging service is great because it does send out messages consistently and automatically but the settings and setup are time-consuming.  Messaging is basic and does not pack the same features as some 3rd party services do.

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeRx:**

service and tech support are really important, especially to those starting up or new to independent pharmacy.  having a dedicated line to call and have someone answer every single time to help you is very important and Prime Rx offers that.

The initial suite of software has a lot of great features which help us with our day-to-day filling as well as some specialty and compounding.  With the add on packages for delivery, the tasks are well organized and easy for the techs to use.

We are a Specialty Pharmacy with a unique niche. Innovation and simplicity equals productivity. In turn that leads to patient engagement and satisfaction. The goal is to have a partner that can design that path with you. That is why we partner with PrimeRx looking into the ever-changing future of pharmacy. It is not the strongest who survive is the most adaptable to the changes.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

The UI/UX design is to old needs a new design. Take what is no longer need it in the industry out. Also make sure to test the new versions some QA is need it. I will also start thinking on a better approach for cloud services and multiple locations. The workflow needs a lot more attention same with the clinical approach to patients. API is need it for a successful partnership.

The system is very simple and has an user friendly interface. Training new staff to use the software is a breeze. They also have a lot of training videos online, and they offer training classes as well.

Their customer support is great and have been able to resolve my issues quickly. However, when there is a new business need that can't be solved within the system, the Micro Merchants team are available and willing to discuss the best possible way of solving for the need. There's nothing I dislike. I would like to be able to create my own reports when I need something custom and specific to a particular scenario.

The best part about PrimeRX in my opinion is the shortcuts to do things like discontinue prescriptions from a mouse right-click, and also the ability to search for insurance through the eligibility check. I also enjoy having the ability to add multiple address fields for the delivery slips. 

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

There are no downsides to using PrimeRX. Over the last 9 years, there are things that I wish were a little bit different. I would like the ability to make a prescription "current" from a right-click mouse option. I also wish th color code for prescriptions that used the last refill were not a red shade, as red is to indicate discontinued prescriptions.

I would definitely recommend this program for pharmacys. This is the easiest part of my job.

EDI is a mess, they do not have automatic fills, POS system makes errors, SMS messages, Verification screen has inaccurate information of profit made on an Rx, so many bugs in software, inefficient staff. Upper management is reckless,  all they are concerned about binding you in contract and they will lie about lot of things until you sign contract.

Do not get Prime Rx. I heard from other users is that it is good only if you are printing labels and giving drugs to patients. If you have services like nursing homes, MARS, charge accounts, automatic fills, SMS alerts, MedSync, MTM, Blister packing, Hospice, 340B etc., there are other products better and cheaper.

Have a central application through which you can manage several stores for a multi location business model. Support delivery through android device capturing signatures and easily transfers them to the system

I really fine one of the best features with PrimeRX software is the ability to work with the support team to creat different reports if they do not have it built within the software.

The customer service calls sometimes need a little help because everyone does not speak english that well.

Look at every software and compare. I found that in using this software I had no training offered and was able to navigate myself through the software quite easily. After watching their training I learned a few tricks, I would really like more training offered to learn even more that they have to offer.

PrimeRx worked one on one with me to ensure that my labels were completed at met all the legal requirements per state and Federal law and that really put my mind at ease.

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

I key compliance packs mostly, so I enjoy the use of RxAdmin.

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

I believe that it would be better if I could save time input information on a patient's own profile. Different people take the same med at different times often.

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeRx:**

Do not press enter too fast when keying through a queue of new prescriptions, it can cause problems.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes doing my job very easy, with the quick codes to type prescriptions and the organization of new prescriptions.

Ease of use - quick menu pull up - multiple screens - multiple users - security clearances 

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

reporting for accounts receivable  - hard to get an accurate account of what is expected from all insurance companies and what has come in

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeRx:**

Be prepared to have a pharmacy system that is easy to understand and easy to use. Everyone at my stores uses Prime Rx and uses it easily 

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reporting functions, especially RX Report plus allows me to have information literally at my fingertips. 
The problems are basically navigating the myriad of insuracnces and following the payments from them on Prime Rx - Primary and Secondary payors, relay health, etc

I like being able to view a patient's profile in a simple manner with each refill on a different line.

I dislike the inefficiency in incorporating prices of medicine into the system as well as other patient information.

There are a lot of buttons and tabs.

I've been solving refill requests with PrimeRx. The benefits is that each refill is shown separately.

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

There were not very many things I liked about the PrimeRx system I used working as a tech for a private pharmacy. It did have a built in delivery system which cvs proprietary did not really have which may have been the best feature. 

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

Constant system crashes. Also- different options to do essentially the same function. For example- to fill a prescription with insurance the option would be “p” for process- however without insurance it would be “s” for save which could be confusing because it was being filled not filed. Also required a lot of steps for regular functions that should really be streamlined because we use them so often.

**Recommendations to others considering PrimeRx:**

Make sure you have time for proper training for all staff as some functions can be confusing 

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

E Scripts come in easily and most information is accurate and prefilled which allows processing to happen quickly. Keeps track of previous prices paid for medications which is beneficial for patient as well as techs (in particular when customer is using a coupon).

**What do you like best about PrimeRx?**

We love how they are quick to answer and meet our needs.I love how they always find new ways of improving their system to make is easy for us to get the best service we need. They also have SMS reminder for patient to do refills or if we can do automatic refills. They just so many features to utilize for our business. 

**What do you dislike about PrimeRx?**

MMS always came through for us , I have no complaints! They have very helpful tools online and even on the program. So with any issues I have, I always turn to the manual. They also provide us ways of keeping our records very organized. We can also keep track of our inventory, which gives us the correct NDCs. They are amazing! Although, at times the billing becomes a little difficult but as soon as we call MMS or the insurance company we're able to figure it out together.

**What problems is PrimeRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were very helpful customizing the system for us. They make it very easy for us to organize our records of patients and keep track of how often the refills are being done.We always get a ticket number for our calls, so just in case we have to call back, whomever is helping knows what we're talking about. Helps us as a pharmacist be quick and sufficient! One thing I would recommend is to have a online chat just in case of emergencies because sometimes patients get impatient and do not want to wait when it comes to billing.
