I remember Shola Akinlade talking about how this was the goal - t make sure we could play on a global stage without all the inaccessibility that as Africans. **What do you dislike about Paystack?** You sold out to Stripe... Why this sucks is because now Paystack is a direct competitor of Stripe and now none of my platforms feel the need to integrate with you. So I can't use Circle.so, Beehiiv or any really enabling entrepreneurship tools in a way that actually allows me to make money for my business. Now I'm stuck begging tool providers to integrate with you, but I'm pretty sure your parent company, Stripe, has some kind of non-compete which makes them refuse to integrate with Paystack. You've done an exceptional disservice to your own mission, your continent and your audience by selling out to Stripe and ensuring that African businesses will never be able to play fairly on a global stage. We will have to pay more for tools with less payment functionality. We have to pay more for automations and integrations just to make things actually work. And then we will STILL end up scaring customers away because of all the complicated steps in our buyer journey because you sold out to Stripe and now have essentially blocked African's out of the international market - or doomed us to expensive operational setups. (YET internationals still think we should charge less as "cheap" labour from Africa). This isn't spoken about enough and I think both Stripe and Paystack need to take accountability. **What problems is Paystack solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me get payment - its the only provider in Africa that does international recurring payments.... BUUUUT you only let me do them in ZAR which scares off all my international clients who want to pay $37 and not 600+ ZAR. ### 2. It is Africa's own Stripe. Their charge per transaction is fair and they offer so many many solutions for small businesses, such as the storefront feature, digital product delivery upon purchase, and payment pages which come in very handy if you do not have a website to embed a payment form on. **What do you dislike about Paystack?** The inability of Nigerian businesses to accept payments in USD without first having to open a domiciliary account with a particular bank is something I do not understand. We should be able to receive dollar payments into any domiciliary account, not just with a specific bank. **What problems is Paystack solving and how is that benefiting you?** Paystack helps me to automate payments and delivery of digital products on the internet. I also use Paystack on my online course platform to receive payments from students and have them enrolled automatically so i don't have to actively be available all the time to sell my courses. ### 5.
