They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Pix4Dmapper?** It is one of the most powerful tools for developing orthomosaic for UAV and satellite images. Further, it is very useful for getting different reflectance and orthmosaic rasters for each band. For example, if we use 5 bands multispectral image, finally we can get separate bands like Red, Green, Blue, RedEdge and NIR. **What do you dislike about Pix4Dmapper?** However, sometimes, it does not detect the GCP panels from orthomosaic and also it is difficult to develop the merged band's raster images from image processing. **What problems is Pix4Dmapper solving and how is that benefiting you?** We performed the disease identification in the sugarcane field by using the UAV. Then we performed the image processing by using this software to detect the diseases in the field. ### 2. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate. **Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2023 **What do you like best about Pix4Dmapper?** It is a very powerful 3D modeling and photogrammetry program. I've used it to create orthoimages, DEMs, and 3D models of archaeological sites and areas. It is relatively easy to use and allows you a good amount of control over parameters. If you are new to photogrammetry, Pix4D is easy to learn and has default settings that allow you to make high quality deliverables. Processes occur at intervals, so you are able to make modifications or pick up where you left off if you need to. One of the best features is the ability to easily add Ground Control Point data, drastically improving your model's accuracy. It is a desktop application and runs everything on your PC which I prefer over some of the cloud-based services. At the end of processing, it gives you a PDF with a report of your project. It's easy and convenient to use for both beginners and advanced users. **What do you dislike about Pix4Dmapper?** The cost. At present we do not perform enough photogrammetry to warrant the high price. But it is comparable to other full-feature programs. Like most applications, they require you to purchase licenses on a monthly subscription service. **What problems is Pix4Dmapper solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am the GIS specialist for an archaeological company. We used it to make orthomosaic images of various sites and project areas. These were converted to basemaps in our report figures and loaded into Field Maps. On occasion, we also used the program to make 3D models to share with clients. ### 3.
