What do you like best about RealityCapture?

It has remained clear that RealityCapture is quite valuable in my 3D modeling process. This approach of fully-automatic processing really makes the job easy for me as I can spend more time taking better photographs while RealityCapture handles the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealityCapture?

It has higher hardware demands than other systems. I find that quickly integrating cut/copy & paste, high-resolution images into large connected intricate project sequences severely challenges my pc’s capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RealityCapture solving and how is that benefiting you?

RealityCapture proves to be a far superior solution to the conventional approach to manually rebuild objects from photographs in 3D. This gives me an opportunity to model in very high detail and accuracy real objects that have various applications such as preservation of historical structures, designing of products among others. What do you like best about RealityCapture?

Since I use RealityCapture for my job, which is 3D modeling from photographs, it has been useful. One of the most time saving features of the software is the capability to automatically create detailed 3D meshes from image sets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealityCapture?

It is also for this reason that the generation of the initial sparse cloud can sometimes be borrowed or unreliable. RealityCapture fails to accurately reconstruct complicated geometries or scenes that come with severe lighting issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RealityCapture?

The best thing about reality capture is getting the 3D scanned geometry without losing details. I can confidently say that the way reality capture preserves the details and extracts the textures and all the small features of the asset is unbelievable; thus, the results are excellent. What do you dislike about RealityCapture?

The only downside I feel for Reality capture is the time it takes to complete different milestones and get the results. Still, the results are primarily satisfying but going for reprocessing retakes takes a similar time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RealityCapture solving and how is that benefiting you?

Creating 3D Assets to replicate real-world props is one of the most time-consuming and complex tasks. Still, with Reality capture, we can go and scan almost any real-world props and objects and get the final model of the 3D asset ready within time and with very little work. What do you like best about RealityCapture?

Reality capture is one of the best software for Photogrammetry work. It is the most advanced photogrammetry software available and is revolutionizing the industry.

After collaborating with Epic, the software has given a vast platform for users to experiment using IOS devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealityCapture?

The cache files are very cluttered and unorganized. And the performance is far from ideal.
