"Near perfection!"

What do you like best about OrthoTrac?

OrthoTrac has been in our office for more than a decade, in that timeframe, we have not had any problems teaching new team members the main functions of OrthoTrac. Since OrthoTrac does a little bit of everything (ie: clocking in and adding new patients), all of our team members are familiar with OrthoTrac and in turn, less hesitant to explore the other features. In short, the front and back offices can use OrthoTrac interchangeably and that is power to the patient as they are not waiting for a call back due to one team member not knowing a functionality. What do you dislike about OrthoTrac?

There are a few subtle critiques! Our office has the latest version of OrthoTrac available, in each update, we hope that we will finally be able to export a patient's PAs! We've found a way around this minor issue but all other records export with the patient's and xray's information. Other than that, I would love if OrthoTrac had user suggestions, I feel like there are so many functions I have yet to put to good use simply because I don't know they exist, hopefully in the next few updates. What problems is OrthoTrac solving and how is that benefiting you?

With OrthoTrac, there is no excuse for patients "going missing." From the moment they are entered into the system there are a plethora of ways to indicate their treatment status, make notes on last contact had, what they're due for next... so on and so forth. OrthoTrac is essential to our practice as it does keep vital information all in one place. Our office has recently (within the last year) started using the 'Chart' feature and it has been a game changer, instead of the doctor needing someone to fetch a treatment card while on the phone, all patient info is available at their fingertips. "The only Orthodontic Software you need!"

What do you like best about OrthoTrac?

Orthotrac is practical and user-friendly for our office. I have been using Orthotrac since I began working in the orthodontic field in 2010 and I couldn't imagine using a different software. All of its features and designed nicely for each user in our office to use, whether it be financial, scheduler or clinical. Orthotrac is an efficient software that maintains patient information making it convenient to have everything in one place and be a chartless office. Eliminating paper trails and saving office space.

I also love that we were able to integrate the software with Rhinogram- which is a separate text messaging communications platform we use. Orthotrac is actually able to integrate with many other softwares that are available to help increase productivity in orthodontic practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OrthoTrac?

All updates are designed to fix any bugs and improve the software. The only thing I would suggest for improvement would be their customer care, as oftentimes it is difficult for the reps to assist with any minor technical issues we have ever encountered. Other then that any other issue is usually very minor and able to be resolved within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OrthoTrac solving and how is that benefiting you?

Orthotrac helps us maintain a clean and effective schedule and patient flow on a day-to-day basis. Charting helps us keep track of our patient's notes/information at each visit so we have been able to now go paperless. We are able to save money and not have any more treatment cards; save time by not having to pull treatment cards prior to patient's visits to the office; efficiency by typing all notes in the charting feature on orthotrac and keeping all notes in one single area. This especially helped during the pandemic while working remotely and accessing patient information when we couldn't visit the office to let them know of the closures and also contacting them to set up virtual visits instead. Financials have great features and it's very easy to input contracts and patient financial information. Billing insurances through eclaims is also very easy to use and effective (will never go back to paper claims again!) Scheduling team have a breeze when setting up appointments and even can perform shortcuts they have learned with checking out siblings. The clinic team uses charting and are able to keep track of aligners, archwires, and elastics very easily and there is never any confusion with the patients. What do you like best about OrthoTrac?

What do you dislike about OrthoTrac?

Platform, the new upgrades, error messages, implementing and setting up but most importantly, the customer service and support. How can someone pay 600/ month to wait over 48 hours and still not receive a call back when 20 years ago the problems were answered immediately. Where is my support money going? Someone once described it well as a 1976 corvette. It still runs fast but its old. I would not purchase this software if I was setting up a practice or was a younger doctor. What do you like best about OrthoTrac?

I love how simple charting is made with orthotrac! There is a place to show how the patient wears elastics instead of just writing it in the notes. I like the drop down wire menu too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
