No clutter, no confusion—just what I need to get things done. **What do you dislike about Instil?** So far, I haven’t encountered any aspects of the program I dislike. The Instil support team is responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. **What problems is Instil solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instil is helping my organization stay organized and work smarter. It makes it easy to keep track of donors, manage our outreach, plan fundraising campaigns, export detialed reports and actually trust the data we’re seeing. Instil makes this much easier than previous platforms we have used. ### 6. The product was really simple to learn how to use for all the members of our team, whether or not they had previous CRM experience. Instil very quickly became a product we use daily and is essential to our operations! The team at Instil made our integration and data transfer seamless. They took care of everything, and have been very responsive and helpful since our first days with the product. Their team can always hop on a call or Zoom if we need help! **What do you dislike about Instil?** They are a relatively new platform and are still building out new features. However, I love seeing the updates and watching the product grow. **What problems is Instil solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are a phenomenal way for us to store data! They make our CRM easy to access and give us all our important information in a way that is easy to read and access. ### 7. The thoughtful approach to capturing data beyond financial gifts is a meaningful asset to our organization. Our database is easily customized to fit our unique needs and the Instil team is highly responsive to our team. **What do you dislike about Instil?** Instil is a new tool, and there are opportunities for improvement and additonal features. **What problems is Instil solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instil is providing a single source platform for constituent management within our organization. Within the database we are able to manage relationships, contributions, and tasks more efficiently as a remote team. ### 8. The platform is easily navigable, responsive, and perectly centered around the needs of nonprofits. Furthermore, the team is dedicated and eager to assist, acting as a partner organization to ours - which is always an asset. **What do you dislike about Instil?** There are a lot of tools and features that aren't ready yet, which is understandable for a realtively new company. However, this does hinder us slightly. It requires more set up work than most platforms, however, the pay off can be more than worthwhile for many. **What problems is Instil solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instil is a solid CRM software, and that is the biggest benefit that it has brought us. In order to hit our fundraising goals each month we rely on an organizational structure of which Instil has been able to provide. ### 10. We love how easy it is to use Instil to segment specific constituent lists for outreach and marketing. It’s easy for us to stay on the same page and work collaboratively with all of our relationship data stored in a central location. Built-in reporting makes it easy to track our progress and make strategic decisions. **What do you dislike about Instil?** Instil is a relatively new platform, so they are still building out more features and functionality. But we love that we have the opportunity to provide feedback and ideas **What problems is Instil solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instil helps us work smarter, not harder though easy access to the information that we need. Instil provides a holistic look at our supporters, showing donations, interactions, volunteer history, and more. Instil saves us time by making all of our data easy to find and use We were able to use Instil without needing any special training, and we love having a tool we can trust. ### 11. They distinguish themselves from other competitors in their approachable nature and willingness to think through solutions together. They truly act as partners with our organization's best interests at heart. In terms of the software itself, the interface is built to be intuitive, easy to navigate, and ultimately meant to cater to nonprofit organizations, no matter the size and budget. **What do you dislike about Instil?** Given that it is still a software/program in development that is still being built upon, there are lots of features and functionalities that might be available. It might pose a challenge for some larger companies that want more of a 'plug and play' kind of software, but for those who are willing to put in the work and investment in building a platform together that is truly customized for the organization's needs, it can present itself as an opportunity. **What problems is Instil solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instil is helping us to find a compatible CRM software that is truly designed with nonprofits in mind. A major part of our work is effective donor management to help us keep apace with our quarterly fundraising goals. We felt that competitor software such as Salesforce and Raiser's Edge are much more oriented towards larger companies and did not offer us the functionality that often benefits from a more 'personal' touch. ### 13. They are very hands-on and always available to assist with any needs in addition to its development. **What do you dislike about Instil?** One of the things that is troubling with Instil is the flexibility to include educational institutions. Since a majority of our organization works with schools/districts, it is essential for us to track this data efficiently. **What problems is Instil solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instil is attempting to develop their software to include data management of educational institutions.
