## InVision Reviews
  ### 1. Good for Early Wireframes, but Little Value Once Figma Covers It All

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ganapathi K. | Associate Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It’s a good prototyping and wireframing mockup tool, and it’s easy to share visual mockups of user flows. I can share multiple screens with non-technical business users, which helps me quickly show what the UX flow looks like.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

It’s pretty much out of the game for us. We used this in the early stages of our development, but later on Figma itself had all of these features, along with the actual UI development and collaboration tools. Because of that, the value add ended up being almost nothing. We ultimately switched to using Figma for prototyping and for mock wireframing. It got outdated in it's features, we stopped using it last few years

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It partially solved us the problem of showing the user flows to different stakeholders with internactions and the prototype version to take the call on weather or not to go with a specific flow.

  ### 2. Still a good product even with new competitors in the market

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe M. | CEO, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Using the freehand... probably not the most common answer but I've used for a while and works just as needed.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The prototyping is still good but newer tools are offering more capabilities and easier to use. Like Figma.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

white boarding. Again there are newer tools but this works just as good

  ### 3. Very handy tool to make prototype live

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria S. | UX Designer/Researcher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2024

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Intuitive, very easy to use, you don't need any special skills

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

It doesn't really understand buttons or links on your prototypes, and you can highlight only spots on the picture—for test users, this might create confusion.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to show how the future application or website works. I don't have to describe it to the client or my team—just make a demo.

  ### 4. Invision works for what it is

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It's really easy to use and hand off to clients for review. I can't send Figma prototypes because they're too big, so these tend to work great since they are just images.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Sometimes it can be such a hassle trying to upload and update screens. The idea of matching naming conventions and screen overwriting eachother can be daunting at first.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Make sure your file names are very clear and precise

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated - we typically use Figma, but sometime Figma files are too large for clients to open when their computers aren't as fast as ours. Invision works great for quick reviews.

  ### 5. Daily InVision User

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Overall InVision works great for most of our clients. I love that fact that we can share the whole design and make links to other pages to give the Client a better user experience while in the protoyping phase.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

One of the biggest downsides about InVision is that the client can't copy the content on the protype to make edits. We have asked many times when will this happen but yet to see this feature added. Clients then have to add comments like " before the word ... add ... then after the word... add... This can make thins extremely confusing for both parties.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There solving the visually and content side of the protype before the design moves into devleopment. We have multiple phases we walk them through to get us close to 100% approval before adding the functionality.

  ### 6. InVision is good but figma & adobe Xd gives you more power

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul K. | UI/UX Designer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Learning curve is easy, and online platform give accessiblity at any point of time.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Prototype and presentation via tool is not that convenient

Product design for startup with budget constraints is helping alot.

  ### 7. Invision is an amazing software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahtisham A. | Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Flexibale and easy to use.I have frequency of use for wireframing. Invison ease my implimention in design and also ease of integration as well. There cusytomer support is pretty nice and easy.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Some time it is complex to design components and less Number of Features in the software.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to create wireframe and to set the flow also it helps the client to understand the basic journey of design so he can under what he wants in the sofwatre or app.

  ### 8. Using InVision has been instrumental in streamlining my design collaboration process.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

what I like best is its seamless platform for creating interactive prototypes and collaborating with team members. The ability to visualize and present design concepts effectively, gather feedback, and iterate swiftly enhances the overall design process and communication within the team.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I might find that some aspects I dislike include occasional performance issues when working on complex projects, and potentially a learning curve for newcomers to the platform. However, these downsides are outweighed by the overall benefits of efficient collaboration and prototype creation that InVision offers.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the platform effectively addresses the challenge of visualizing and presenting design concepts to stakeholders and clients. By allowing me to create interactive prototypes with transitions and animations, InVision enables me to convey the user experience effectively, gather feedback, and make informed design decisions. This benefits me by streamlining the design iteration process, reducing misunderstandings, and ensuring that the final product aligns with the intended vision.

  ### 9. What an amazing tool for Mockups and Wireframes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpi J. | Solution Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I am in awe of this tool ever since I have used it. We have used this tool to create design mockups and also the suggestive wireframes for discussions with client

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I practically don't have anything to dislike about this tool at all. Only suggestion is if there would be a few OOTB design template to start from so that you dont have to start from scratch.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have created a lot of project wireframes for our discussions with clients and we change them on the fly easily. We also create mockups to be shared with devs for further development which are designed easily in InVision

  ### 10. Ease of use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Easy to understand and easy to use product

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Can become a bit clutter with large number of screens

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping and design handoff

Nothing anymore. Very disappointed in how Invision treats it's customers.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

After an employee left and her account was deleted, InVision continued to charge our Mastercard for years

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used it for prototyping and wireframing.

  ### 12. Prototyping made quick and easy (along with other useful tools!)

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision is a simple and versatile prototyping tool that allows teams to go from ideation to testing at any fidelity quickly and easily. Beyond prototyping, Freehand is a whiteboarding tool that allows guest access to collect info from users and stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The prototyping functionality is slightly glitchy when building the links, so there's a need to triple-check whether all the links are correctly placed once the prototype is ready for testing.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision helps us conduct concept and usability testing to collect user feedback and ensure our designed solutions meet user needs. It has been integral in our implementation of our human-centered design process.

  ### 13. Good tool for smooth development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It helped to create interactive and dynamic prototypes, allowing designers to showcase user flows and interactions effectively.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

There are some performance issues while dealing with large files, unable to work in offline connection.these things should be addressed

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to collaborate with my team during product development so that we all are in sink with the information.

  ### 14. Simple and easy to learn

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Seems to be a simple wireframing tool, and relatively easy to learn

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The free version is very limited and des not give you enough time to learn the product before you have to pay

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Limited access when you have the free version and it is hard to obtain/expensive to get the full version if you are. singular designer.

  ### 15. Easy to use

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2023

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Invision has a simple UI and has easy modules

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

We use invision for stitching screens for a demo flow. Updating them can be complex

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use invision for demo flows and showing our software product in smooth flows

  ### 16. The best prototyping tool I have ever worked with.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marilyn S. | Project Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision is an excellent tool for developing user interfaces based on feedback, specifications, and collaboration. It allows me to communicate with my clients and coworkers in real time. I may also test how my app prototype works or will operate on my phone. The degree of detail that can be specified is truly limitless; we use InVision fairly frequently when revamping the user interface for website modernization projects, and what we enjoy about having this tool is that it is valuable to all members, whether they are designers, testers, or developers. Images are the most effective method to convey a concept, and this tool helps us to everyone be on the same page about the end aim.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

One disadvantage is that going between modes, demo mode to prototype mode, requires too many clicks. It would be fantastic to have a responsive UI option that automatically resizes/scales desktop layouts to match mobile view. The screen size of my app layout, as well as the navigation size of the link they provide me to check on my phone, are not optimal. It is not dependent on the size of my phone, yet I must design my app to fit the size of my phone.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

We strongly advise you to test it on your whole process, how your colleagues and clients will engage with it, and how InVision will integrate into your regular job. It's also an amazing experience in wireframing; the teamwork is flawless, and I haven't seen anything like it in any other program.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue we're addressing with this solution is that cross-functional team members can acquire the information they need to be successful in their respective tasks. I'm currently developing an application, and the benefits include saving time and effort as well as making my job easier; UX/UI designers can create prototypes, developers can find the exact specifications they need to follow, and testers can use those specifications to understand what they're testing. We can also display these prototypes to consumers early in the development phase and collect their opinion, allowing us to swiftly adjust the design depending on their feedback. Because the complete strategy has been spelled out, this tool has helped us eliminate confusion and limit the number of meetings we require.

  ### 17. Excellent tool with good integrations to design software for prototyping.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emiliano M. | Project Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I like experimenting and collaborating with my coworkers, and I've discovered that using InVision Inspection makes it simpler to communicate concepts to developers. Our team surely works better as a result of this platform; you can also add features such as name, address, object generator, and picture production. It's wonderful that prototype hotspots are easy to use and have lovely default animations. Also, because many mobile designs are stored on a device by default, there is no need to include device templates in design files, resulting in decreased file sizes and simpler sharing.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I dislike how difficult it is to update design files after a project has already been formed; you must be extremely cautious to choose the specific files that changed, when on other platforms, such as Adobe XD Prototypes, you simply click a button and done. One thing I didn't enjoy about inVision was the extremely hefty monthly pricing. Rather than searching for instructions in a separate area of the website, I'd like to see more tutorials in the applications or on the mobile app.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Many modeling tools, like as drawing and Photoshop, are supported by a good app prototype platform. Craft is an excellent plugin. InVision, I believe, provides an all-in-one solution. If you're working on your designs in Sketch or Photoshop, check out InVision plugins to make design modifications a breeze. Please keep in mind that there is currently no connectivity with Adobe XD or Figma.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every design-to-production coordination difficulty our team has had in the past has been addressed through InVision. Prototypes are easier to share with developers or reviewers. InVision bridges the gap between client and designer in terms of feedback gathering, information transfer, and contact. We are required to demonstrate interaction behaviors to them as we create web pages or applications, therefore we upload JPG files and link them with access points to interact and test them before sharing them with my colleagues. InVision is a fantastic method to display these concepts with a simple way to share them, in my opinion.

  ### 18. Changed the way I demoed wires & mockups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg S. | UX Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The ability to share links privately with clients (password) and the syncing with my design software.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

A little glitchy with updates sometimes, but overall not a big deal.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to do paper mocks or html/css demos to validate any more. I've been in the field for a while and this has been a game changer for my process.

  ### 19. Best Tool for Design Prototypes and Collecting Feedback!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph S. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I like the design prototyping functionality. We use this tool all the time at my company to create prototypes, share them with various stakeholders, collect their feedback, and answer their questions live on the prototype. Invision is just so simple to use, and every department can quickly digest a new design and give their feedback quickly. I like how the prototypes are interactive, so the viewer can click around just like they would with a live product. I have zero complaints about Invision, and I think we will be using it for a long time.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I truly don't have anything I dislike about it. Perhaps if I was more involved with actually creating the prototypes, I could find some things to nitpick. But for my current role, I use Invision to view design prototypes and provide feedback only. For this use case, it does the job perfectly.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

I recommend you use this tool for all design prototypes. Send the prototypes to stakeholders and potential clients to get their feedback.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting quick and actionable feedback from stakeholders on new designs we are working on, sharing prototypes with stakeholders and clients. We realized the value of getting design feedback quickly so we can make adjustments and start development as soon as possible.

  ### 20. It changed the industry, then stopped innovating.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke S. | Director, Experience Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision is a great tool. It's a massive game-changer to quickly create prototypes from images or Sketch files, with clicks, hovers, overlays, and more means rapid prototyping to get ideas in front of users and stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

InVision stopped innovating on its prototyping side and focused on other tools that, while useful are not the core of the tool. The Design System Manager is nice, the Craft plugin is helpful, and the freehand is a good add-on whiteboarding tool. But Freehand is not the best digital whiteboarding tool, and with InVision's focus on them, it's also no longer the most feature-dense prototyping tool.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

If you are using Figma or Adobe XD already, they have better tools. at this point InVision is really just an add-on to Sketch.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Originally, InVision was a great prototyping tool, but now the more significant problems we solve are for Design System Management and developer handoff. The Inspect tool allows handoff to developers to be cleaner and more clear.

  ### 21. Does everything I need for the prototyping stage and more.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It's so helpful in showcasing and explaining project prototypes to all stakeholders and having them get a feel for apps/sites before any development work is done.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

It glitches out sometimes, for example, when you first go to a new project, the first page won't load and you have to refresh the browser to have it appear. Apart from that all good!

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

This has everything you need from prototyping to design systems, go for it.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps cut down time explaining and re-explaining functionality to stakeholders for certain projects. It makes it simple to share a prototype with anyone and have them feel like they're using the product.

  ### 22. Excellent stakeholder alignment for product design and UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James H. | Director of Product Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It's an easy to use real time alignment tool for aligning on design feedback, functionality, and also communication with any engineering partners. It's probably one of the most critical tools we use to make sure we build what we design.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Some of the plugins honestly can be a little wonky. I find the craft plugin to be a little unpredictable especially when it's trying to update. At times it will "go out of sync" requiring you to re-integrate it. I find that to be frustrating at times.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

We use the DSM product as well, and honestly, I think that product needs some more cycles. Documentation on how to set up a design system is pretty ambiguous, and I find we're just left to our own devices. I wish there were examples and walk-throughs on proper design system setup for efficient use for organizations.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're building new initiatives for our shopping and growth funnels. Also trying to improve our member experience through meeting user needs and qualifying them with usability testing. That's where a tool like InVision comes into play, using its prototyping feature.

  ### 23. Look at All Your Options before InVision

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach P. | Senior Marketing User Experience Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The craft plugin allows users to sync their Sketch boards directly to InVision to easily (for the most part) update and manage artboards. We're moving to a new design program soon that is more all-inclusive and I'm excited to try that one.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Customer service is polite but very slow to resolve tickets, InVision can be quite slow and buggy, it adds an extra step (sometimes extra steps) vs a program that has prototyping within it, the UX/UI of the program could be improved (i.e. creating work spaces, saved preferences, filters, etc)

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

I would make sure you consider all your options.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to mock up prototypes in real-time which also acts as a blueprint for developers. This makes it easier to present to stakeholders and test during research sessions.

  ### 24. Prototyping with invision

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Jahanzeb S. | Data Analyst, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I like the user-friendly interface that allowed me to design UIs for various devices. The readily available customer service is also great. The ability to produce wirefram has helped me in my prototypes too.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I had issues with the client version of the application. It usually has errors saving the files, but the web version is great and I really appreacite the readily available customer support on account of any problem.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

I suggest using the web version when starting before jumping into the client. The website also has tutorials that are great first to go through. On account of any technical issue the team is always present to provide readily available customer support which is a great relief so don't hesitate to send them a message if anything goes wrong.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Invision allows me to visualize and create prototypes before implementing the code in producing a software. This allows me to experiment with the fron-end UI of my program before implementing it.

  ### 25. My go-to prototyping tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpit J. | Staff Software Developer (UI-Hub, Team Lead, Sustainability Software), Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

There are a couple of things actually -
1. Easy to use interface. Very clean and intuitive.
2. The relative ease of sharing the mock screens and prototypes via links with my team and others.
3. The usability in general is pretty awesome. It's also available on mobile so that's a plus.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

There aren't many complaints regarding Invision but there are definitely some nit-picks worth mentioning. I would definitely love the ability to explain my app flow using some sort of a site map that isn't available right now. Also, I would love it if there could be better connectivity between my design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD that would allow me to make real-time updates to my site's screens.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to properly and systematically showcase my proposed designs to the development team easily. Furthermore, I can share my designs and flows in a way that truly mimics the user's journey on my product. Also, managing all my prototypes in one place and sharing them with the team is actually very easy with invision.

  ### 26. InvVision is amongst the best products for collaboration on design ideas.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chetan Y. | User Experience Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

For me, there are a few things that InVision does best-
1. Simple stitching for UI screens. Anyone without experience can come on the app and build a prototype. It's that simple.
2. Great way to collaborate and get feedback. For me, InVision was a platform to test my design ideas with users and stakeholders. Stakeholders and teammates can easily browse designs and leave comments. And, these comments, can be resolved, replied to...
3. InVision board was another nice tool that I used within the subscription. It helps create moodboards and collate ideas.
4. Maintaining a UI project is easy and one can create sections as well.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I faced multiple issues with InVision -
1. The new interface overhaul that InVision did, broke the design and usability. I wish they had not done that. Ever since they did it, I have left using the product and shifted to another competitive product.
2. With the new design change, the share capability became 2 steps longer and difficult to share with people without InVision account.
3. Another big problem that I often face is that it used to log me out after every week or two. And, logging process of InVision also is not so great. Once, you log in, you have to navigate again to find the recent projects that you are working on.
4. No plugin for XD and Figma.

Lastly, I think InVision shouldn't try to get into screen creation space. There are already better tools out there so they should rather invest effort in facilitating other tools.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

If you are on the Sketch app, InVision is the way to go. But, if you are Figma or XD, then it doesn't make sense to get an InVision licencse.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primary use cases for using InVision were -
1. Doing the user-testing.
2. Getting designs validated by stakeholders.
3. Getting the Copy/text corrected.
4. Presenting and collating ideas.

  ### 27. One of the best and helpful tool for prototype creation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Invision helps to create mock ups easily.Easy for anyone to use.It allows to try multiple design solution before delivering the actual mocks ups for the projects.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Only the performance I don't like in invision.Multiple projects can be created and n number of mock ups can be uploaded but if the count of mock ups in a particular space is more than 1000 for example it takes a lot of time to open the space.Sometimes opening a single mock up takes a lot of time . Performance needa improvement

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use invision app to create prototype / mock up/wireframes for my project and present to product owners to provide then iser experience. It is very helpful to create multiple projects and upload n number of mock ups where multiple people can access the space at the same time.Collaboration is pretty cool.

  ### 28. Use InVision to diversify

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The prototyping experience is at par with some of the most popular tools out there today. In some situations, it stands out even further regarding the flexibility InVision provides. This is the reason why I consider the prototyping experience of InVision the best.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The lack of certain features that are prevalent in almost all popular designing tools today is a bit baffling. However, InVision tends to outperform its prototyping abilities - which is why I'd like to suggest diversification of design tools - and sticking to InVision just for the prototyping aspect.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Use it primarily as a prototyping tool.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prototyping out journeys by wiring up multiple screens is perhaps the most significant problem I've solved with InVision. The flexibility and efficiency of use that it allows in setting up parameters for prototyping are probably the best.

  ### 29. Great For UI Design And Dev Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu S. | QA Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The Easy to add UI controls make it easy for the designer without a tech background to create beautiful wireframes.
The ability to add flows to the wireframe gives the product an excellent idea of how the application would work

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I would have loved it if the final wireframes could be deployed/hosted somewhere and open as an app/website for a broader section of the team to experience and provide feedback on.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Invision, it was challenging to collaborate between Product, Design, and development teams. Now, the designer can do their job while the product gets a sense of the end product. The dev knows the exact flows that need to be coded.

  ### 30. Great way to display and annotate designs for clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It's simple. Clients can easily learn how to annotate designs with changes they'd like to make.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I wish that there was a better way to communicate that the designs are best display on desktop rather than mobile, and that they are images, not functional websites.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us easily send designs for annotation and review.

  ### 31. There seem to be better tools out there now

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision was one of the first in its class of software. I really like that it is web-based which makes it accessible to many people beyond those that would have to install a desktop app.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The fact that it's a web-app makes it a little cumbersome to use and perhaps fully maximize. We are slowly moving over to adobe xd and are much happier with the workflow and software.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

N/A

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We often need to mock up different ways in which software could be designed, used, and built. We use InVision to communicate those designs and allow users to walk through different flows.

  ### 32. Amazing way to present your prototypes, with nice integrations to common design software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David R. | CDO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It is nice how prototypes hotspots are created; they are intuitive with nice default animations. Also, like a lot how mobile designs are contained in a device by default, that avoids the need to put devices templates in design files, make it more small size files and easy to share.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I really dislike how hard it is to update design files when a project is already created; you have to be very careful to choose the exact files that changed, in other platforms like Adobe XD prototypes, you just have to click a button, and it's done.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

If you are working on your designs with Sketch or Photoshop, please look at the plugins provided by Invision to make the updates of designs easy. Be aware that at the moment, there's no integration with Adobe XD or Figma.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I design web pages or apps, I'm asked to present them with interaction behaviors, so I upload JPG files and connect them with hotspots to interact and test them to finally share them with my team. I find Invision a beautiful way to present these designs with an effortless way to share them.

  ### 33. A great tool that no longer serves it's purpose

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swapnil B. | Product Design Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The Craft plugin for Mac and Sketch. Prototyping and Sketch toolbar for shapes, groups and image insertion. Overall a great tool for designers to do a lot of stuff.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The worst thing is collaboration. Unnecessary sharing of permissions and overall a scale issue with no ability to share with peeps from the company. Slow Performance being the buzzkill

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Over a team of 10 designers and around 100+ developers, Invision has been pivotal to sharing high and low fidelity designs with different stakeholders. One benefit is the plugin and the news letters.

  ### 34. A beautiful start

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand S. | Full-stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2016

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Real time checks with my clients, and colleagues . I also can check it on my phone ,how my app's prototype working or will work.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The screen size of my app's design and browsing size (the link they provide me to check on my phone) is not appropriate. It's not according to my phone size, though I have to build my app according to my phone size.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Just one thing is make your prototype tool just as beautiful as Invision . Plus add-ons like easy to use in mobile version.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now I am building an app. And benefits I am getting is easy to use, they are very handy and so easy to use them.

  ### 35. Invision is very good software in terms of designing and if you want to design user interfaces.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divyansh P. | UX UI Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The best thing about invision is it allows designers to navigate through their designs in the phone and give the best design tutorials

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

What is dislike about invision is it do not have their own community to help designers for assests

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Invision is a good software and you can easily learn and use Invision by their internal tutorials

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems which i am solving while using invision is I am creating great and good looking user interfaces which help the clients to grow

  ### 36. Impossible to find prototyping in new version

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I use to like the prototyping and used it all the time but......

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

You can't find it. Help docs say to do this:
Sign in to InVision here: your-team-name.invisionapp.com
At the top right of the page, click the + Create button, and then click Prototype.
Enter a prototype name and select the device type you want.
Click the Create button or press Enter.

I look at menu and no prototyping is listed. I search and see more docs about some craft thing you have to download, did that, that doesn't work. I looked ot see if maybe i need to pay for that feature, no mention of it.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It use to be great for rapid prototyping.

  ### 37. Buggy, slow development process, and overpriced

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Senior UI/UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

User friendly UI, offered some innovative approaches to designing and prototyping

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Overpriced for limited offerings, no integration with Figma, DSM v7 is painfully overdue and it's still not out of beta, its prototyping features are behind the competition, quietly abandoned their promising Invision Studio product, poor QA with each update being buggy, Freehand does not have enough features to consider it over competitors.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

If you use Sketch and have basic needs for design systems and prototyping, Invision may be for you.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A robust design system allowed us to better document our designs and collaborate with our product managers and developers. It was somewhat useful when we used Sketch but we've since switched to Figma so this is useless for us.

  ### 38. Good software for making high level quality prototypes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhsin K. | Customer Retention Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Invision software is very easy to use helps in design process

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I dislike that it takes a long time to load at some times

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to tailor the designs as per my requirement

  ### 39. Great for everything from basic mock ups to feeding code to develop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandy A. | Member Experience Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

For those new to wire frames Invision is very easy to learn the basics and for those developers who are sharing content with end users it is great to capture feedback real time

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

When collecting comments in prototype collaboration it is not easy to figure out how to see the comments in Studio

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing wire frame mock ups for business units/end users who will be using software developed by process improvement teams. Wire frames are so much easier to understand and present than written software requirement docs.

  ### 40. Great prototyping tool for rapid prototyping, testing, and design reviews.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It's easy to use. You can hide the hotspots, which is great for user testing. You can sync your design files directly from Sketch. You can manually upload files and screens easily, and InVision makes it easy to reorder, replace, relabel, and organize all your screens. The collaboration capabilities are also great for working with developers who can leave comments and questions directly in the prototype through the comment feature. InVision is also great at keeping the history of comments, so you don't lose important conversations and design decisions.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

As more and more design tools start to integrate their own prototyping abilities, InVision becomes less needed in my design toolkit. It's much easier to manage your screens in the design file itself that in InVision and that is simply innate to the design tool itself, not because of InVision.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration with developers became much easier with InVision. The tool's comment feature is powerful and enables developers and other team members to leave comments and questions directly in the prototype so that you don't have to have meetings or Slack channels to have these conversations. InVision is also great at keeping the history of comments, so you don't lose important back-and-forth that leads to impactful design decisions. The comments feature reduced the number of meetings needed with developers and enables more collaboration.

  ### 41. Invision, allowing your vision to show.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica G. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2017

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I appreciate that the boards can be shared between people. The ability to pick colors within the board. And the prototype feature us handy when showing people mockups.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

I do wish the free account had more available boards.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Make sure to take a look at all the offerings within InVision. I used it for a while as more of a mood board without realizing the prototyping functionality was available. It was a game-changer when working with clients who couldn't visualize the changes you were suggesting.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing visions, ideas, thoughts easily and quickly.

  ### 42. Tool to make modern design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiren S. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

The Invision web app is faster and better than some of the native apps.
Easy to share and collaborate designs.
Hundreds of free templates help with the quick start of any design.
Creating any complex design is easy with all the customization.
Easy to switch between views to inspect or to get an overview.
Also, a Native Mobile app is available.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Startup time is slower.
Getting Animation correct could take time.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using this app to create prototypes for android/ios mobile apps. It helped me share the design with the client and get a quick feedback.

  ### 43. The most efficient prototyping tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

As a non-designer, InVision was my favorite to work with designers to communicate design edits via the commenting feature. The easy simulation of real apps and simple hyperlinking of the InVision prototypes made it easiest to append assets to online surveys.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

InVision does have a lot to improve on with regards to its UI & UX in order to make communicating design edits. There were some bugs I experienced with the designer not seeing my comments after I sent them.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

InVision is a very comprehensive prototyping tool, you should consider other tools like Axure to be sure they meet your needs.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision allowed my clients to validate their product concepts and enhance their UX before putting them out to market. It essentially de-risked product decisions.

  ### 44. Good application for prototyping

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision is one of the very few tools that allows you to create customized animations, thanks to a timeline panel, for the prototyping of user interfaces. It also has many functions concerning touch gestures. It integrates well with Sketch or XD

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

A little less complete than other competing softwares, it is excellent for prototyping and animations but not complete for the design phase, where the use of Sketch or XD is preferable. Versatile but perhaps less intuitive in some functions.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it mainly for sharing whiteboards and when there is a need to create more complete prototypes for a user interface to show to customers. The timeline with which you can animate every single element is very functional.

  ### 45. Helpful tool for anyone

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex K. | Director of Communications and Advancement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Invision has made it easy for me to circulate our brand standards throughout our entire organization.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Haven't found any cons yet. We have had a positive experience.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision takes the guesswork out of showing design proofs and illustrating brand and design standards. And by being in the cloud it eliminates the need to pass around clunk PDFs.

  ### 46. A great tool for distributing wireframes to my organization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor T. | Designer/developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

I like the ease of uploading wireframes from Sketch. Using the Craft plugin, uploading to Invision only takes seconds, and your wireframes are available to share using a public link. Within the Invision interface, you can also easily rearrange the order of your screens.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The UI can be a bit difficult to navigate if a user is new to the system. Finding the public link isn't immediately apparent, and I don't even think it's evident that you NEED a public link in the first place to share with others.

I've had to contact customer service twice now regarding the product, and it was an absolute headache. The first time, I had to migrate a former employee's account to my email address, and the second time I needed invoice records. For both occasions, finding a means of contact was incredibly difficult and forced you to go through their ticketing system.

I also wish that there was a central link where external users could look at ALL screens you shared in the past, rather than having to have a specific link to one project.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

It certainly gets the job done.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem I'm solving is providing a distribution method for prototype screens to others in my company.

  ### 47. Great prototyping product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2022

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It is easy to learn, easy to use, and it's super helpful. I used the free version so it accomplished what I needed

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Nothing that I can think of. It's been a while since I use it. I recently switch to figma bc it allows me to create and prototype in one software

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding a good interactive prototype product for usability testing

  ### 48. Extremely detailed prototyping tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

InVision is an excellent tool for designing user interface based on feedback, requirements, and collaboration. The level of detail that one can specify truly knows no limits. We use InVision quite frequently when redesigning UI for website modernization projects and what we love about having this tool is that all members find it useful - be it designers, testers, or developers. Visuals are the best way to communicate an idea, and this tool allows us to all be on the same page about the end goal. Not only that, it lays out exactly how we can get there through layers upon layers of design specifications that developers can easily follow. The sleek appearance effectively gets buy-in from the client, and this one-stop-shop has made meetings/working sessions so much more efficient. I especially love the comment feature and am excited to continue using this tool.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

There's not much that I dislike about InVision, but one of the cons is that switching between modes (demo mode to prototype mode) takes too many clicks. It would be fantastic to have a responsive UI feature to resize/rescale desktop designs to fit the mobile view automatically. Designers have complained that the tool can be sluggish at times, but overall they still love having it. I've also noticed more glitches when accessing InVision from mobile. Other than that, our team genuinely loves it!

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we're solving with this tool is that cross-function team members can get what they need to succeed in their own roles. UX/UI designers have the means to design prototypes, developers can find exact specifications that they need to follow, and testers can use those specifications to understand what they are testing. We are also able to show these prototypes to clients and get their feedback early on in the development process so we can quickly update the design based on their feedback. This tool has helped us minimize miscommunication and limit the number of meetings we need due to the complete blueprint basically being laid out. We can also have a source of truth to bring up and serve as the standard we need to follow. InVision has been the optimal way to keep the team united and moving fast.

  ### 49. Excellent tool for prototyping.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasemin S. | Sr Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

Collecting application suggestions, brainstorming and creating a harsh concept is the perfect application to develop the user Interface. For both applications InVision creates a plugin called Craft (Sketch and Adobe Photoshop). I love prototyping and working with my colleagues from one programme. I have found it easier to submit designs to the developers with InVision Inspection. Thanks to this platform, our team certainly performs better. You may also add such features including name, address, object generator, image generation.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

The very onerous subscription price was one thing I don't like about inVision. Instead of browsing tutorials to a special website section, I'd love to see more tutorials in the apps or Mobile App.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

A great prototype platform for apps, supports many modeling tools, such as sketches and photoshop. It is a big plugin known as craft. I believe that InVision provides you with an all in one approach. Not so many tech subscriptions are easy.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InVision has overcome all the challenges of coordination between design and production our team has previously had. Prototypes can be more easily shared with developers or reviewers. It is simple to do so. InVision solves the void in feedback collection, knowledge of the flow and contact between the customer and the designer

  ### 50. Great collaboration tool for creative design.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandra S. | Project Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2021

**What do you like best about InVision?**

It's excellent software and has all the resources required. It makes me create even more artistic projects that InVision is so easy to exploit. It gives the brand a much more sleek and new appearance and helps improve the business prospects. Anything can be tailored to your specific needs. Inspection is excellent when communicating developers' design requirements. Life is so much better now that a one-stop shop is available. This is an excellent tool for big and small companies alike.

**What do you dislike about InVision?**

Normally InVision is very sluggish. The choice of integrating other software is almost always difficult. There are also very broad files loading issues. The gui, which makes it very irritating, is also very complex to control. Before the Studio release I needed several external Sketch plugins to automatically synchronize the designs with InVision.

**Recommendations to others considering InVision:**

Designers and developers will work together in one place to design, connect and work together using the most recent iteration of InVision Studio. The software is one of the best software for concept sharing. InVision has a lot of power to boost the business' results. I advise you to upload big files manually if you are uploading them. InVision is certainly the perfect way to operate from various business fields.

**What problems is InVision solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can generate a wide range of highly artistic designs with this app. My customers now believe it is much more interesting to share prototypes. The advantages were many. InVision gives users, managers and other members of the organisation, prototypes to communicate input. It is furthermore the only method for the creation and final flows used by our site and mobile developers.
