There’s a lot of information to learn upfront, and during the first full year of using the platform it can feel a bit overwhelming. I like that Funraise gives us one central place to see a donor’s history and activity. Being able to quickly search for someone, see their past donations, recurring gifts, notes, and campaign activity is probably the most useful part for me. I can’t really pinpoint anything I dislike about Funraise. For our organization specifically, one thing we would love to see is stronger volunteer registration and management functionality within the platform. We work with a large number of volunteers, so having their registration, information, participation history, and communication connected to the same system as our donor data would be extremely helpful. I love that Funraise is built by a team that really knows what nonprofits need, and it's always a real person when you have issues. The team is always open to suggestions, which I really appreciate. It's just so simple to use; the UI is great, and there's not a huge barrier to entry. The setup was incredibly simple. I also appreciate how Funraise makes it easy to see all our donors and create forms without any design experience. Now we're even going to be able to use it for events too, which is exciting. I find that integrating Funraise with our customized Salesforce objects isn't as seamless as I'd like. We have a lot of customizations in Salesforce, and it can be tricky for the integrations to work smoothly, which complicates things a bit for us. I really like Funraise for several reasons. The customer service is great, and they always get back to us on the same day, showing genuine interest in how the product works on our end. The platform is fairly intuitive and I love how much it has grown and evolved over the past three years. I also appreciate all the new event features, the wealth screening, and the flexibility it offers to change things based on our needs. It's not just a cookie-cutter system, which I really value. The ease of setting up was another plus, as it was fairly easy for our organization to get started. We don't use the silent auction feature because it's not as good as what we already use. I hope that improves so we can keep everything in the system. Also, the text to give feature uses a long number which was tricky for our event. The silent auction tool is still a bit simple, lacking features like QR codes for item signs, which Betterworld provides, and there's no live auction option. Platform fee in addition to processing fee is not standard practice -- feels sneaky and takes a large chunk out of donations. Not as robust capabilities as the demo made it seem. Integrations is a term used loosely. Donor relations needs that are very standard are either not intuitive or not possible (some examples:

- adding a column in a report for Lifetime Giving Total or Year-To-Date Given;

- tagging people in bulk in the platform;

- selecting multiple people but not all from a Supporters view to send an email to them;

- selecting a group of people to delete their profiles in bulk when cleaning up CRM/downsizing to remain in plan tier limit;

- filtering by which donors are also volunteers/imported from Point;

- making a report of how many volunteer hours donors have instead of having to look on each individual person's profile which is not practical; etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how specific I can get when categorizing donors and events in Funraise, which really helps in managing our fundraising efforts. It's great that I can find donors based on how long they've been with us, the events they've contributed to, and the amounts donated. I also just used the auction function, and it was great! I like Funraise because it's a simple platform that's easy for both our donors and our team to use. It's clear and user-friendly, making it easy to see individual subscriptions and their gifts, identify when gifts have failed, and view a comprehensive history of donations to spot patterns or trends. It's important for us to easily know who's donating, how often, and change details as necessary. The initial setup of Funraise was also very easy for our team.
