As we transitioned to a paperless system, we managed to reduce the amount of paperwork involved in production. However, we still needed a solution for handling the health and safety aspects of our forms, which led us to discover FoodDocs. ### 2. The ability to create my own documents and to verify entries while not physically on site are my favorite aspects of FoodDocs. Customer service is also amazing. Should I ever have questions, run into an issue or need assistance, the FoodDocs team is readily available to assist. **What do you dislike about FoodDocs?** There are slight glitches which happen every so often, however once I reach out to the FoodDocs Team, they take care of the issue immediately. **What problems is FoodDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** FoodDocs solves the issue of having to maintain physical documents. Additionally, I'm able to verify all documents without haven't to be present to physically review and sign off on doucments. There is a digital verification function available on FoodDocs. ### 3. Implementing my plan enabled me to sign on with a respected distributor with nationwide accounts. FoodDocs has been a great partner for me. **What do you dislike about FoodDocs?** I haven't found any downsides to FoodDocs. Their system is easy to use and understand and they are there to help if you need it. **What problems is FoodDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** FoodDocs is helping me the most with traceability. Of all of the things involved in running a clean, healthy kitchen, traceability has been the most challenging. FoodDocs has made that task easier. ### 4. The large amount of logs and reporting needed for USDA can be daunting. With FoodDocs I have no papers to deal with and can put together reports for inspectors at the click of a mouse. Also, I am fairly tech averse, but the staff at FoodDocs is always available to help. They log into my computer and walk me through fixing my problems. We have 3 office based members using the dashboard, and 10 members of staff using the app. We tried other softwares prior to FoodDocs but the problem is either the dashboard would be good but there was no app, or the app was good but the dashboard lacked features. I found FoodDocs had invested their time into a complete experience so the office and operations team have both a smooth experience in ensuring our company is compliant with FSA regulations. **What do you dislike about FoodDocs?** I noticed on the app there is no sort order system - I wanted to enforce an ordered way of running monitoring system. I did figure out a way by numerically appending numbers; the app would automatically sort A-Z by numbers and that worked. I also made the suggestion to FoodDocs for a sort-order feature and they have acknowledged and will add it to their roadmap. **Recommendations to others considering FoodDocs:** Just check out the trial and you'll find that you can implement your food safety in no time. **What problems is FoodDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** I felt with FoodDocs I was able to cover all aspects of Food Safety. I needed one single platform to contain everything from HACCP, to operations monitoring, to ingredients breakdown, to venue map and equipment list. FoodDocs nailed it all and so providing training to the team and onboarding new members is super easy. Furthermore, when the inspection happens, I will be able to pull from one place ALL documentation and information from equipment manuals, to food plans, to monitoring systems. ### 8. I really like how they have reduced the mundane work what we have to do. **What do you dislike about FoodDocs?** It is not available in India yet. Basic monthly subscription is not available. **What problems is FoodDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prepaing HACCP and minimising documentation and mundane work. Finding FoodDocs was a game-changer for our kitchens. FoodDocs' ease of use, well-written templates and outstanding customer service make HACCP plan writing a breeze. The app is very easy to use and makes monitoring simple. Our health inspector is very impressed! **What do you dislike about FoodDocs?** Nothing to dislike; just a few features may be underdeveloped. I cannot recommend the team highly enough. I think food docs is user friendly and provides a very substantial tool with which to grow a company and to improve health and safety within it. **What do you dislike about FoodDocs?** At first, I found navigating the site difficult. **What problems is FoodDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of setting up and maintaining a HACCAP programme. The benefit of having all the tools on line, rather than on paper are great and the way forwards- no more greasy folders or paperwork.
