These files are able to easily be shared to clients and customers. The pivacy settings allow for password to be created to prevent anyone with the password being able to view the document. Can simply record video from the computer screen and share with a link. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** It would be great to edit documents that I upload in Droplr without using third-party software. I dislike how when you share files that the previous ones share are also available. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** If you would like to screen record, screenshot and manage files, then Droplr is an easy-to-use platform that will meet those needs. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to share files with potential customers and clients, as well as being able to screenshot and screen record any information from my computer and share this quickly. ### 2. The upload speed for images and videos is really fast. The UI is responsive and quick. The feature set is satisfactory, although I would want this app to develop more. All in all, you get great value for money for software in which you can store a virtually endless amount of data. Also, full-page screen capture works great and this is something I'm missing with some other screen capture/recording software. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** The most striking problem with this app is the inability to create a folder within a folder, such a scenario leads to a very messy user interface, where it's hard to find your files when you're running multiple projects at the same time. Such an amount of storage needs sub-folders. I would also like to be able to copy the direct link to the file (it is not possible currently). **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm using Droplr to save screenshots and full-page screenshots. Also, the screenshots shared with the paid plan contain no advertisement making it eligible to share with the customers! **What do you dislike about Droplr?** When you have to create an annotation, it becomes slower. It would be better with annotated screenshots are also created with much efficiency. It's a tremendous tool that really takes the strain off of having to worry about how much space is being taken up by needed screenshots on my computer. Since I work in video and design so often, I have to regularly clear off my hard drive. Droplr takes that problem away and lets me do better. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** GIF feature. There's no way to adjust the frame rate, which creates very slow GIFs. GIFs often serve a tremendous value when trying to demonstrate issues going on with a client website or a certain video I'm editing. I don't want a problem to take 30 seconds to watch when the actual issue is less than 3 seconds. Yet that can very often happen with the GIF feature stretching out the length of the actual issue. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** If you need fast screenshot sharing/file sharing, use Droplr. Once you set your custom shortcuts, then the product can be easy to use. The default settings are a bit wonky, but you can customize. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simply put, we're solving storage space. When our design team needs to evaluate design options fast, instead of having to screen shot and upload, they use Droplr, paste the link, and can talk about the problematic element. This saves us time and space on computer, which increases efficiency because now our team doesn't have to go through and clean up space on their hard drives each month. ### 6. Creating shareable videos is as easy as selecting the options (record audio/record entire desktop or tab, selecting screen/tab, and clicking to Start sharing. When recording/capture is complete, it will automatically upload to the cloud and provide you with a tiny URL for sharing. Therefore, sharing content is a straightforward and seamless process. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** I wish there were a mobile app for Andriod which provided similar features as the windows app / Browser plugin. Additionally, Droplr does not currently allow editing larger than 100MB video files (trim,etc.) which most of my videos are much larger than that so ideally they would increase the limit to 1GB+ for this feature. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Droplr provides me with the capability to share screenshots and screencasts with others. ### 7. I use that almost daily and share the instructions recordings to my clients. Also, I have been using it for quick file/asset sharing with clients. The desktop app is pretty awesome; the feature to right-click a file on a desktop with a simple "Share with Droplr" feature is super helpful. I love the tool for that single feature and can't recommend it enough. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** It lacks the ability to markup a screenshot before uploading it straight to the droplr cloud. I have to wait for the file to upload, then do the markup, and then share it again - which is time-consuming and sometimes frustrating. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** The gif recording feature helps me send quick instructions on how to or what to do to my clients. These apps are designed to transfer files easily. Droplr is therefore less expensive than many comparable apps. High quality screen captures are needed without any hard drive space. It is an enormous instrument that really remains the strain of worrying about how much space my machine has to capture. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** A great downside is that in the Linux operating system Droplr does not run. While Droplr works well on Windows and iOS, Linux still has a big issue. Function of GIF. The frame rate, which produces very slow gifs, cannot be adjusted. When attempting to illustrate issues with a consumer site or any video I edit, GIFs also have an enormous meaning. The real issue is less than 3 seconds, I don't want to spend 30 seconds to search. But with the GIF function, which extends over the whole actual problem, this can happen quite frequently. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** If fast screen capture files are to be shared / shared, use Droplr. The product can be easy to use when you set up your custom shortcuts. The default configuration is somewhat mistaken, but you can change it. For me, I think it is a fundamental tool. What I like the most is the simplicity of its user interface to upload images. The starting price offered is 36$ per user which is the most reasonable i have seen anywhere. It also offers a free version which comes with limited features of course but works well. User can integrate Droplr to social media applications like facebook, twitter.The drag and drop option proved to be convenient and integrations were the best part about it. It saves a lot of time through its quick service. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** With Droplr there is currently no direct sharing option present which is annoying. It is presently quite slow as compared to its older version. There are many bugs present here and there which need to be fixed. It used to be available on iPad applications but not anymore so it will be convenient if they introduce it back on with its service. Monthly subscription models are just annoying micro drains on your bank account. I don't need to host the images on your server. That should be optional. 2. Droplr disabled my WINKEY shortcuts that come with Windows. like WINKEY+e no longer opened Windows Explorer. It took me a week to discover it was Droplr that did this. slowed me down horribly. 3. Can't find the local screen grab file. Some website forums don't allow links to non-local domains so you can't link to an image in another domain. So you have to create the image then upload the actual image. I looked everywhere for the local image so I could upload it and it's obscured so much I gave up. Only after uninstalling Droplr did my WINKey short cuts return. It is a magnificent tool for quickly taking representations and verifying them, instead of taking a screenshot, bringing it to Photoshop, and managing layers. The integrated screen recording works very well, including recording audio with it. The workflow is very simple: press a shortcut, select an area on the screen and get a link in your clipboard. Or, if you wish, press another shortcut and draw additional information in your screenshot. Also, I love the screencast function, use it all the time. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** The annotation editor continues to fail many times. Recording screencasts / GIFs can be clumsy. An option to have video with audio removed would be useful. It would be really useful to easily create "collections" of images / videos on a page that could be shared with a link. The search / categorization in the application could be improved, it is difficult to find things many times. Droplr is not compatible with Linux operating systems, so it restricts me to using Droplr only on Windows and MAC. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** It allows you to share files easily and conveniently, and the file will be deleted from your servers after an allotted time. Both at work and in the game, many times I will have to share something as an almost temporary measure: "Look at this screenshot". It is not something that should be maintained forever. There is no need to save it, but you can do it, by default it will disappear soon enough. There are no bulky servers to be cleaned periodically to purge files intended to be shared, reviewed and discarded. Saves a lot of time in writing explanations. Much easier to show someone than to explain it. If a picture is worth a thousand words, just think how valuable a video is. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Droplr has become part of my normal workflow. I share photos and files regularly and, best of all, I can trust it. The file sizes can be huge. This is a blessing for me, as it comes with a video player. I can send screenshots to people to get comments on different graphics that I created. They store them on a list that includes thumbnails so you don't have to click 100 different links to find the one you're looking for. I also like the feature that you can annotate the screenshots if you need to highlight a certain part of the screen. The video screen capture is really convenient. But it will crash on you if you record more than 8 minutes of screencasting. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** It's not always reliable. There are times you use it and you get your link right away. Other times you wait 30 or more seconds for the link to generate. They lack user support and when you run into problems they just refer you to their FAQ's. Which is sometimes helpful, but they lack personable support. Of course as soon as I finish editing, it uploads and converts it into a link within seconds. Very convenient. Having the ability to turn a screencast into a gif is quite useful for sharing, since it doesn't require much bandwidth to play it. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** Sometimes the screencasting can be unreliable, in-which you would record the screencast and it'll disappear without notice or uploading. Recently I haven't found this happening as much. I also find the way you start and stop the screencast to be a little cumbersome. I find the lack of mobile apps for Droplr disappointing, particularly on Android. I love that I can just post links and it appears in Slack, that feature alone has saved me so much time. I love that the link copies immediately and that it's not also cluttering up my desktop with files (like Cloud does). I love it a lot. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** If I'm honest... I don't like the design too much. I'm a very active use and rarely have to go to the site unless I wanna clean stuff up (which isn't too often, every couple of months). I rarely interface with the site or the app, I rarely have to, I normally just take screenshots and grab my link post it and go from there, but I don't love the site. It's very navigable and useful as is the app, they're just not that pretty! **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** It's the handiest tool in my tool belt for showing images. I love how easy it is to use with the short keys. It saves more time than you could ever imagine. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sharing images with other designers to get feedback and just in that alone this has helped immensely ### 49. I also love it how I can send comments & annotation just by a couple of clicks away. Pressing shortcut to screenshot, annotate, upload, and then just paste the link on email / Slack / chat. It really saved tons of my time. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** One of the thing that I don't like recently is a bug that happens when I tried to create annotation. The bug appears when I tried to press "Upload" button (on Mac), and suddenly the arrow / shape I made just went crazy and misplaced. In the case of arrow, it's pointing to the "upload" button I'm trying to click. Made me has to repeat the process again. And.. when the upload is failed. I got to repeat my annotation again which is annoying. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** Sharing big files, annotating, video screen recording, and sharing it whether to your clients / teams has never been this easier. I guarantee it can save you TONS of time. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sharing information whether it be large files, annotated image, has been a part of my working life lately. In the case of large file, sending the attachment to client (large one) might resulted in bounced email - particulary email with limited inbox size. And that's really frustrating. Now I can just Droplr it, paste the link in email, and send it. Without ever have to worry about it again. And since I'm a UX designer, I annotate screens A LOT. And communicating the idea / revision to my employees was never easier. ### 50. I use it for personal use and business use. I originally started my subscription as a free customer, but quickly saw the benefits and became a paid user after a short amount of time. I've been a paid user for a couple of years now. Again, I really like the product and it helps benefit my team every day. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** There really is not too much that I dislike about Droplr. It is very intuitive and easy to use. One thing that could be improved is that I wish the video sharing aspect was a bit faster in terms of developing the link. Not that it really takes that long, but if I had to pick an aspect that I think Droplr could improve upon, it would be video link building speed. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** I recommend that anyone who reviews visual assets use Droplr when going through the reviewing process. Droplr helps provide added visual context that can help the reviewer express himself or herself better. I know, from my experience, that Droplr has helped me better express myself to my team. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** From a business perspective, sharing my thoughts using Droplr links is very helpful. I am solving all sorts of issues by including the added visual context that Droplr can provide.
