The assistance of the Customer Support team is awesome. and it is so easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

There is nothing I do not like of the tool, I really like it

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is amazing to have accurate and updated trainings available in one platform that is great, also fantastic to have a learning path and that also have badges to share in Linkedin

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

It is a great learning platform, easy to use and easy to find learnings you are interested in

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

The platform is great, there is nothing that i do not like.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps me learn about product or services I am interested in, I can continue my learning at my own speed and time

  ### 3. The most advanced and interesting platform for a culture of continuous learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Degreed provides an incredible opportunity to reinvent the way organizations are managed through practices and strategies focused on SBO (skills-based organization). Based on two main pillars (skills and AI), they have been reinventing the way to feed an organizational strategy focused on a culture of continuous learning that fuels business efficiency instead of chasing recurring deficits. It connects project/volunteering/learning opportunities with development and a complete data view of various variables. It is essential to mention the incredible action of monitoring, fostering discussions, benchmarking, and events that the company's CSM, support, and directive team offers. The platform is very easy to implement, with a highly prepared team for this special moment, where every detail is considered. The platform already has several integrations with other platforms, in addition to support for others that your organization may be interested in. Its implementation easily results in an increase in user usage frequency within the organization and learning becoming more organic.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

I believe the search engine has a significant deficiency that needs to be reviewed. With the large amount of information, the user can easily find themselves lost, despite knowledge architecture modes allowing for a reduction in impact. I believe that perhaps a part of the platform that accepts more fluid learning journey actions is greatly missing, such as receiving files from learners and a specific place to engage in mentoring (the opportunities section only makes them visible).

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simply come help us in the most difficult mission that the world today asks itself: how to turn my organization into an SBO (skills based organization). Clearly, there are other factors such as forming a culture of continuous learning, increasing the impact on operational efficiency, and connecting the People management with business strategies.

  ### 4. My use of Degree.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan A. | Lifecycle Change Management Senior Expert, Pharmaceuticals, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Easy to get self-paced courses.
Great connectivity to other learning platforms.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Reporting a problem needs improvement (few cases in the past).

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot of courses are listed in one single platform. No need to check other websites.

  ### 5. Learning with autonomy in different ways

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marília V. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I like the most the way that Degreed values all kinds of learnings, helping the company that I work for to reinforce our continuous learning culture. We can easily add to the platform formal learning (certificates, graduations), informal (articles, videos, podcasts, books) and social learning (such as events, hackathons). The degreed button make it easier to add these contents as soon as we complete them, helping us to use the platform every week. And last, but not least, our Client Success Manager is a gift! She is kind and truly interested in our goals, helping us to improve our learning strategy.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

We need some improvements regarding accessibility and parts of the integration. Degreed is totally open to do help us with this, but I find it a little bit slow.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating all kinds of learning (social, formal and informal) in one place to help us reinforce our learning culture and mapping skills for us to understand the gaps of learning we need to work on.

  ### 6. A great way to connect skills to learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason B. | Lead Learning Systems Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

What I like best about Degreed is how my organization can connect multiple content providers into a single system. The days of employees having to go to multiple sites for access is a thing of the past. I also appreciate how Degreed takes a skills forward approach to employee development.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Because the platform is so different than a traditional LMS it is not an easy transition from the traditional LMS experience for the L&D department or the learners. Also since it is not a LMS some of the management capabilities (the M in LMS) are limited or non-existent. Reporting is still a work in progress, but Degreed is certainly putting a lot of resources to making it better - but it's still not there yet.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration of content in a sole system, allowing for the creation of customized tracks to support our learning programs, improve the organization's maturity around how skills first mindset can benefit support the business and employee experience.

  ### 7. User experience is terrible, can't find anything

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel O. | Senior Product Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Nothing. It is sold as a great tool to learn and the " the world's biggest corporate learning platform" but not one of its promises is fulfilled. I can't honestly think of a single positive thing to say about this product.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

The user experience is horrible. Information architecture is a mess: I can't find anything, the menus don't make any sense. Basic navigation heuristics are either ignored by the people who created this abomination of a product, or they simply don't care. As a user, I'm required to do a crazy amount of clicking to perform the simplest tasks. The content area of learning materials is restricted to a tiny modal, which I have to scroll right back to the top to close. I have to compulsively mark things done, and the button is in the most awkward place possible. Also, the done feedback is never updated in real-time. There are no useful features: bookmarks, categorization, filters are useless. But I keep getting random useless content shoved on my face.

Sincerely, Degreed people should spend more energy on trying to build a good product, and not on theses obnoxious in company workshops on the importance of lifelong learning. I learn everyday by simply living, and your platform is the last place any functional human being will voluntarily go to get any useful information.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It should be a tool to harbor all relevant information on the company, and facilitate onboarding and upskilling and overall information sharing on the whole company.

**Official Response from Product Expert:**

  ### 11. Great tool for learning and tracking your progress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig R. | Campaign Systems and analytics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

It's a nice tool that is most likely provided by your organization to help you better your skill set. It has a wide variety of courses to offer and there's something for everyone. The courses are all ranked so you can pick and choose the course you want. You can enroll in a path way which you can complete over a period of time. Some of the courses are expensive if you were to buy them from an external place like coursera or other learning platforms. While you are lucky to actually get it from your company because I would imagine that it would cost a lot if you were to go out and buy it yourself.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

While some courses are nice and informative, some more premium ones might not be the best. There should be a better way of showing who the course is taught by before beginning the course. Sometimes it becomes difficult to complete the courses and they sometimes disappear from your main dashboard. You need to look for it again to find it and then the progress might disappear. Many premium courses like ones from Oracle are not on the platform and mostly YouTube videos appear when you search for such training.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

There's a lot of content for people looking to learn new skills and technologies.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upskilling on skills required to do the job. Also exploring other areas of work that can help in your career down the road. It's also nice to track your learning progress in one place. There's lot of content for people looking to learn new skill and technologies. It saves you a lot of time and effort by offering these trainings in one place.

**Reviewed by:** Pradum K. | Software Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I along with thousands of employees in my Organization use Degreed for Upskilling, learning and Preparing for external certifications.
I have prepared for two external certifications from Degreed i.e. Azure AZ900 & AWS Cloud Practitioner exam.
The best thing I find is the content is very specific to the subject and the learning can be tracked in real-time.
They have the best integration with another learning platform like Coursera and Pluralsight which are embedded in the learning Pathways.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Overall tools given empower the purpose but when it comes to the mobile application for the same whether it is Android or iOS, It disappoints a bit.
Most features available on the Web version of the application do not seem to work smoothly.
Although there have been significant improvements from the past.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used and used it in present for learning and upskilling myself as well as I use it for preparing for external certification exams.
In my organization, they have created learning pathways for the same.

  ### 15. Degreed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Degreed is an LXP platform, which means that it has deep AI embedded as part of its learning journey. It makes very relevant recommendations based on user's profile and skill needs from multiple channels including videos, articles, blogs etc.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

There is content available from not very reliable sources which might have paid to list their content on Degreed. I would prefer the paid version of Degreed to keep only reliable content.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Degreed for organizational learning using gamification and self learning pathways. It helps in high engagement rate among employees since they are not trusted trainings which add little value.

  ### 16. Experience your learning through Degreed

It has excellent search and filter option for the user to access the right content as per their needs.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Degreed does not have an impressive user dashboard, hence looks monotonous. We can achieve this by having a custom dashboard wrapper on top of Degreed. It will have a cost impact. Degreed does not offer content storage space within the application hence always relying on external storage space. Like few other applications, Degreed does not have in-built performance support system.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

If you want to have a unified learning experience portal which is flexible to integrate with other learning applications Degreed is the best choice.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Degreed integrates all related knowledge information in single dashboard. It has access to internal and external content sources as well. Automated and manual curation of contents are possible that help the users to get recommended. This application helps improving overall Content and User Performance.

  ### 17. A high degree corporate learning management system

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee T. | Market Strategy Planning Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Degreed has allowed us to develop a customized playlist where we can add all the material that corresponds to our team. It has been a product that has given us its support for a very long time. It has become a necessity in our organization. It is used by almost many employees of our company because it has provided us with a good amount of material for developing new skills and techniques for our employees. As a business, we believe in continuous improvements so this product has made sure that we make improvements on a regular basis. Altogether, this product is a very important tool for my company.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

The product should also have a smart mobile application that would be there when a computer or laptop is inaccessible to me. With this product, I need to constantly review all of the learning behaviors of all my employees as there is no notification system.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

This is one of the software that a company should definitely include in their business because it is too good. The platform has a very easy-to-use interface that is very intuitive. Moreover, the product allows you to even share some strategic material that is formed in the form of a playlist.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has a very intuitive interface which is very user-friendly and quite responsive in terms of all problems we face. It has some great and innovative features which we probably won’t find easily in other alternatives of this category. This tool has a lot of good and positive points because our new employees have learned their roles so fast and effortlessly due to Degreed.

  ### 18. It is a collection of videos and study materials for everyone aspiring to learn various technologies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Degreed has carefully curated study plans and video lectures along with study materials for innumerable software and technologies. For students and employees aspiring to get grip on new technologies this is your one stop destination.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For students and employees aspiring to get grip on new technologies and aim to get certified on world class softwares this is your one stop destination. Degreed has an option for courses to get certified.

  ### 19. New Hire Training done well

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I like the ability to track the courses for my role as well as the company required items. Being able to have paths for each role and see what's needed to upskill

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Nothing yet. Can get a bit turned around but good overall

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic company and role specific training is easily accessed and tracked.

  ### 20. Great learning tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I like how you are easily able to see what items are overdue or due soon. It is nice how you get reminders as well to remind you t complete the required classes.
I like also how not only do you get to take your required classes, I also like how you are able to search through other courses or even view the complete list of courses and just browse through and do ones for your department. So cool! You can even search for more courses as well.
There's just so much to choose from!

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

What I dislike is how I have to go back to the course's main page to mark each item as complete. I wish it would hide my finished section and then prompt me to move on to the next section. Since I have to be redirected back to the list, I can miss items.
It also doesn't have a pop up for when I'm 100% complete so I never know that. I also don't believe I get an email confirmation when I complete something. That means I have to go back and check.
Also, sometimes there are multiple courses for a topic and I'm not sure which one to start with first. It would be helpful to have it in order or have something to label it with Beginner, Intermediate so I know which one to go with.
There should also be something where I can group my classes by Completed, In progress. Unfortunately currently no way.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Great learning tool. Love it a lot.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to stay up to date with product and process knowledge. Our company is constantly changing.

  ### 21. Everyday Learning with anytime anywhere

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suraj M. | LMS Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

It's a learning experience for our organization.

Clean and simple interface, whether on mobile or desktop. I get my daily learning feeds based on my preferences and skills.

I see what my colleagues and groups are learning, we can discuss on the particular topics in Degreed.

Pathways easy to manage, deploy content in a standard yet powerful manner.

Real-time Insights on who is learning what, completions etc.

Simply fantastic!

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

As a admin some abilities are desired - expiring content, a simple lms under the hood would be great. The +degreed buttons IE 11 compatibility needs a bit fine tuning.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Look no further, it brings everything together.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On boarding mass number of employees and tracking them is easier.

Program management is easier with Pathways and groups

  ### 22. Want your employees and yourself! to develop the skills you need to stay relevant in the workforce?

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ysabel P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Degreed has taken 'track my learning' to a whole new level. It positively pushed me to learn more each day (Degreed extension or bookmarklet is awesome) but most importantly, Degreed allowed me to engage with my colleagues and peers that social learning being so evident, it helps everyone understand each other better, most especially for the L&D teams - the platform is a solution that every L&D team should explore and consider, trust me - it will enable you to serve and help your employees stay ready and relevant. Last and not the least, I always look forward to Degreed's Release Notes n new enhancements and improvements each month. This makes clients feel that Degreed is committed to create the best client and user experience.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

The iOS and Android app doesn't mirror the webapp, some features aren't available on the app. BUT - I'm pretty sure Degreed is already working on new enhancements and improvements.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Establishing the what's in it for me / them. Degreed helped me realize the value of what and how learning truly is taking place both in an individual and enterprise level, also the need to be aware of the skills that I have at an individual and the skills that your organization has is highly meaningful data you can leverage on.

  ### 23. Easy to Blend Content & Curate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I like the ability to easily plug in our proprietary and blend it with materials from all over. Curating content is so easy for me as the Learning Manager, or to quickly show a stakeholder how to build a pathway and let them build themselves. And because the material comes from a URL, we've had less busy-work around maintaining a single source of truth between our learning content and content living in other places.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Sometimes the huge pool of content available can be daunting for users if they don't find exactly what they're looking for in one or two searches. Soft skills have really excellent search results, but some more refined skills are difficult to find, and to have our SMEs build material is difficult because of the time commitment.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company, we're facing a lot of leadership retiring in the next 10-15 years, which means a lot of opportunity for the next generation of leaders but also a challenge to grow our people to fill those roles. We've built a lot of pathways in the first few years we implemented Degreed, but now we're leveraging some of the infrastructure available through plans and directories. We naturally have a company that fits well into a tree-like framework, smaller groups rolling up into larger ones, and now being able to organize information in this way so our people can intuitively navigate.

  ### 24. Degreed Giving Employees New Skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

The ability for employees like myself to search through mulitple sources of content through a single search. The pathways are now easy to navigate with the new design. Degreed continues to innovate with new features and make the platform simple and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Insights and analytics are decent but have some room for improvement. Very limited still on pathway insights but improving everyday.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Get it a shot! It will definitley help you.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Global centralization of all content! One stop shop. We had an employee who didn't have a specific skill set for a new job and used ti to learn new programming. He then reapplied and got a promotion! Whata testimony!

  ### 25. Degreed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Degreed is an amazing curation tool allowing us to leverage the vast amount of content that's readily available online. The chrome extension is amazing for tracking informal learning on the go and I really like the fact that you can follow other people in your business to see the content they're consuming.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Degreed at this time doesn't have any content hosting capabilities and requires learning content to be hosted elsewhere first. As an admin of the platform you don't have complete oversight of all the pathways or other functions that others may have setup until you're added as a collaborator.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Have a clear content management process in place. They are great to work with and always welcome feedback on their product.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Degreed allows blended learner journeys to be created and people to explore learning and development beyond their role. It's a really social learning platform that lends itself well to our development strategy.

  ### 26. Personal Curation List

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I love having the ability to save articles and content that I want to read but don't have the time when I first find it. I can go back into the site or use the app to read through content when I travel or am waiting for a meeting.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

I wish that there was an opportunity to see what content I've shared with others and be able to track it when I share content with individuals, not groups.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing access to quality curated content for our members.

  ### 27. A very friendly and intuitive platform to create appetite for learning

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pol L. | LD Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

How easy it is to navigate through the platform and start consuming learning

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Amending the content from the system is not that intuitive, and there use to be lots of duplicate elements.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Probably the accessibility is what has improved the most, together with automatic recommendations and the social aspects of the platform (share/reccommend/like, etc)

  ### 28. Learning Made Easy with Degreed

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I thoroughly like the user interface for Degreed compared to other online education platforms. Strong integration team that knows that they are talking about. Offers a wide variety of course/classes to take online and a strong option for any company trying to push employees for training or additional education in the workplace. Having offices in Salt Lake City Utah and California, makes it nice and easy for west coast clients to have an easier connection to their rep or point of contact.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

It would be good if it allowed for more powerful reporting, when looking at company wide users and other relevant information. This ties in with showing ROI for a company, which Degreed could offer some more features for in general. Also could have better data storage for files and such, as everything needs to be stored elsewhere and then connected to the Degreed back-end (Example: SharePoint connection)

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Try to research the amount and quality of the employees at the company and support that you will receive when deciding on an e learning solution.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have individuals at the company get certified in courses and receiving training in relevant areas of our business. Very dynamic team that helps users maximize the uses for their products.

  ### 29. WorldFirst Launches Degreed in less than 10 weeks!

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Degreed have been an awesome partner, thought leader and learning champion.
Every person we have worked with has been a true customer-focused advocate and have deeply understood our needs and our learning strategy.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Nothing - genuinely! I can strongly recommend this as a social learning / learning experience platform to any organisation.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping our people learn what they want, when they want.
Help the business surface skills and raise awareness of our talent to support engagement and retention strategies.

  ### 30. Brilliant

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Semiconductors | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Ease of use. Meets me where I am as a learner (just enough, just in time, just for me). Curation is super easy. Filtering makes it better than google. Great combination of free and pay for use.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

There really aren't any downsides to Degreed. Last time I checked, FlexEd was only available in the US.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

You won't be disappointed!

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing an infrastructure for my learners to really own their own development. Helping folks to develop a regular learning habit.

  ### 31. Great platform for learning and sharing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I like that you can see what your colleagues, especially management and Senior Leadership is reading/watching.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

I dislike that you can't mass follow a group of individuals (ex. a whole office). You have to search name by name and follow each person individually which makes me less likely to follow more people.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Great platform to share best practices/tips/articles/etc.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a team we're able to share what we're learning including best practices and new strategies/ideas to do something we do daily, a little different.

  ### 32. The Degreed Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

The ability to find learning content for most business situations and professional development goals. Also, although I've not used "Skills" yet, I plan to and I'm excited too.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Sometimes the content isn't always on point, there are many great courses and a few stinkers.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

There are a number of solutions on the market now but I find Degreed to be the most complete. They really were the pioneers in this space and they continue to lead the charge. With the acquisition of Pathgather, Degreed really beefed up the user experience. They are passionate about what they do and it shows.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personal development. Learning in the flow of work. Building Career paths.

  ### 34. Degreed is a user friendly platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie R. | Sales Representative, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

My on boarding materials were all on degreed and it easily tracked my progress and gave me suggestions on what to do next

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

There were some requirements for people in my company in certain states that weren’t required for me so it made it seem like my progress was incomplete

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tools I can easily access and refer to that I would like to reference to do my job daily.

  ### 35. Excellent educational tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rita Khan M. | Community Association Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I love that there are different pathways to follow and I can search for different topics.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

There isn’t a search option for a specific course.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize this tool to educate our team and provide resources for training.

  ### 36. New user

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

The interface is smooth and the search capability returns lots of useful results

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Depending on how it is deployed, it could be confusing to navigate

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing employees training that is relevant to their role/job. So far Degreed has allowed us to load targeted content, customize learning paths, and keep track of training hours spent.

  ### 37. Degreed software

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

I like that there are options and plans for learning instead of just search and learn whatever. It helps achieve the ultimate goal. The main focus of this software is to actually help you achieve your goals and the pathway they have is really unique compared to other software.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

It's rather new so there is a lot of other competitors that are able to find a lot more content than degreed. The content is the only bad thing right now because the software is still pretty new.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Give it time it will get better but I think it will be one of the best.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning web development. Not a lot of benefits yet. Still new software and still learning myself.

  ### 38. Degreed - Great tool for professional development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana B. | Online Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Degreed is a great tool for professional development. Our company uses it to create different pathways for all kinds of topics (i.e. time management, leadership) and you can also create your own pathways for any topics you're interested in. There is also an Chrome plugin and you can easily add articles to Degreed and read them later. You can also get point for every article you read - our company gives out rewards for power users and it's a great motivation. Definitely a great resource to have. There are also time estimates for each article or video that tells you how long it will take you to complete.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Degreed is very customizable and content is being pulled in from external and internal resources. The UI is user friendly, but could use an update. I with there was an easy way to browser content by topic.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

It's what you make of it. It's a great resource, but if employees are not using it it's just another tool.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company uses it for professional development and has been a great resource. All internal training material is easily accessible through Degreed for all employees.

  ### 39. New Product that needs more support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan L. | HRIS Business Analyst, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

- The user experience in Degreed
- The ability for users to add achievements

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

- All of the email notifications (this was a bug)

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

Be ready for challenges - implementation was tough, but it is truly a great product!

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Our business needed an LMS lite that felt very millennial

  ### 40. An engaging platform focused on the experience of the learner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie Francine R. | Global Learning Program Manager - L&D innovation, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2017

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

* Great user interface
* Personalized learning recommendations based on areas of interest
* Employee-generated learning experiences
* Ability to create communities around learning initiatives and topics
* One-stop-shop for all learning (internal and external sources, company sponsored and free resources)
* Easy access to content that has been endorsed by other employees and an easy way to connect with internal experts

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

* The current mobile app doesn't provide the same spectrum of features as the web app and therefore it's not as engaging and easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

This is a great software and the Pathgather team is working constantly to improve the experience for the users. We've already seen a lot of improvements being introduced in the few months since we've started using the product. Customer feedback plays an important role in the way the software evolves over time.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the Pathgather solution we've addressed our employees' request for more relevant, customized learning, tailored to each individual's needs. This solution has made it easier for our employees to improve their performance by giving them quick access to the best learning content available, endorsed by other employees.
The Pathgather platform has also allowed us to tap into the knowledge and skills of our employees and leverage them to increase the value of our company's learning environment. By allowing employees to share their own knowledge and the resources they identify as relevant, they now feel more engaged with their own development and the development of others and learning has truly become a shared experience across the entire company.

  ### 41. Pathgather review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2017

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

Really clean and engaging UI that puts other learning systems to shame. The ability to pre-populate metadata as you're adding and sharing resources is also amazing!

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

Global search could be better with some ability to prioritize providers. With so many integrations, it's easy for things to get lost in the ether.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization utilized Pathgather heavily for onboarding and rapid curriculum development via learning paths. The ability to publish several pieces of existing content as a cohesive learning experience was extremely valuable and saved us a ton of time we would have otherwise spent designing around modality.

  ### 42. New and interesting learning tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian N. | Retirement Benefit Specialist V, Government Administration, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2016

**What do you like best about Degreed?**

The large variety of content given to study. I enjoy the various sources for the content and like the fact I can see other articles people I am connected with are reading. I have come across some interesting articles.
I also like the that I can track a number of other learning sites that I use. It covers most but not all of the on-line learning portals.
The ability to customize your own learning plan is also a nice feature that I am still developing - this really forces you to think about what your goal is and how to reach it.
Tracking your progress is nice and does help you see if you are getting to the place you want to be.

**What do you dislike about Degreed?**

On occasion the content suggested is not really in-line with my goal. Occasionally the Integrations section bugs out and it requires you make your information public. Given security there is no easy answer to that but wish there was a way to interconnect but keep others sites private.

**Recommendations to others considering Degreed:**

It is a good idea to know what you want to focus on in order to refine the content to study. Do not be afraid to skip articles or content you do not feel meets your goal.

**What problems is Degreed solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For staff development this could become an effect tool. Once those in charge of training figure out how best to make it work for their company. Two methods I see are letting the employee choose there own path and then sharing the progress and/or developing a specific track for employees. Both have the advantage of providing opportunities for staff development. The cost is with in range of most if not all companies.
