Access to training records is very helpful. There have been some issues over the years; but, this is where the 1Life team have always performed exceptionally well in quick resolutions to our specific need. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** I wish for some more admin control, such things like: how quickly the platform logs a person out, or how many employees are shown on a screen (this exists but the platform forgets every reload). **Recommendations to others considering 1Life:** If you cannot utilize a full-time admin for your Safety and Health program, this program makes it much easier for the leadership team to manage its safety requirements. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping track of when certifications are up for renewal would take a lot of time; the monthly update solves this without effort. Delivery of the fundamental courses is exceptional and consistent from 1 team member to the next. ### 2. Day 1 they've were driven to show their value and add it to my company. The software is robust enough yet has been tailored to fit my business as simply as possible. The software has been great, yet with out the people who have been driven to show its value and help impliment this software it would have lost out to archaic paperwork. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** The process of moving people's habits from paper to digital is the challenge we had. 1Life's efforts to help us overcome this were far beyond my expectations; hopefully, they can find ways to help this further. This said, they can lead the horse to water, but they can't make him drink. **Recommendations to others considering 1Life:** Work closely with the people at 1Life. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1Life has provided a substantial, organized, and professional structure for safety within my business. It slows everything down. In safety reporting, that is the last thing you need. The ability to document and report efficiently and instantly is what 1Life offers us. From creating the proper forms to allowing collaborators to instantly view those forms is a must in our industry. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** As with many apps, there are glitches. The one I dislike is when the app opens and my picture shows up on another worker's profile. 😁 May need an update on the individual devices. **Recommendations to others considering 1Life:** Don't waste your time searching for the answer that's provided in 1Life. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** One problem solved is the time wasted in searching for a document. The app and assigning projects and documents were kind of not explained in the beginning. I eventually picked up the process. But if someone else needed to learn how to be an administrator, it would help to have some notes/guides given out. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used the App and tablet rather than paper and pen to complete incident and new hire orientation. The checklist for orientation was also a great feature to ensure that I covered everything such as muster pointrs. I dislike that I can't access just the corrective action. Instead I need to go through the entire form to find the issues. **Recommendations to others considering 1Life:** If you need a turn-key kind of system, this one is ready to go with pre-built forms. The support staff are readily available to assist with setting up your own custom forms. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting paperwork submitted by employees in a timely fashion. Everyone has access to those forms 24/7. More people completing the required inspections, and HIT Lists than in the past. ### 6. Setting everything up can be time-consuming. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** It reduces the need for paper copies of all documentation in our vehicles and allows for better communication and easier updates of changes in forms and information. ### 7. Not only can we manage all our records, documents and forms in real time, but we can create training plans for all employee positions, assign pre-made on-line safety training courses, customize them to our business or create training courses from scratch for any training re need to provide. We use it not just for safety but for HR, admin functions and operations. This has saved our company tens of thousands of dollars. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** The program does so much and the 1Life developers do new releases so oftern...sometimes it feels like we're not using all of the functionality that we could be. **Recommendations to others considering 1Life:** Utilize the 30 day free trial to find out if its a fit for your copmany. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** The safety of our people is critical. The biggest problem being solved is ensuring all employees have the company's safety standards in their hands at all times. We can monitor all safety from anywhere; on desktop computers or mobile devices and if employees have safety issues they are communicated immediately and we have a system to make sure no corrective actions ever get missed. ### 9. We had huge problems chasing our paper copies of H&S documents. With 1Life I can access all documents and track who has completed or not completed their documents. The Technical Support Team is always a pleasure to deal with. We have been using the mySafety Assistant and the mySafety App for over 2 years now. As App administrator for our company, I have been in multiple phone conversations with the mySafety App designers. They are extremely helpful and friendly. They are very open to customer ideas. Any concerns I had and improvements that I thought the App would benefit to increase our productivity and form tracking were all received with open arms and in no time those ideas were added to the app. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** There is not much to dislike about the mySafety Assistant website. The only aspect that comes to mind is that since we have over 50 installers, the multiple forms they each create in the course of a day (3 - 5 installs a day) makes our use of the database quite extensive and this does understandably cause delays on pulling up information on our website profile. The technical support team does however continue to look for ways to streamline these delay times. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** The use of the mySafetyApp available on Apple and Android devices has served us very well. We have multiple TV equipment installers that have the App on their cellular devices which allow them access, while out in the field, to fill out the Onsite Hazard Awareness Form and Equipment Inspections before they begin any installations. ### 36. Program is simple to use, even those with limited to no computer experience have picked up the basics quickly. mySafetyAssistant even helped us impress a surprise WSH inspector! The online training offered was the initial push to purchase the program. It is quality training that is immediately applicable to our staff. Another things we appreciate is the pre-made safety forms. They are fully customizable to your business but do give you a place to start. You can even brand them with your own logo, so everything has the same look and feel for the staff and contractors. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** I have found no downside to the program thus far. The support staff are amazing and always available to answer questions. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were working safely but had no documentation to prove it. mySafetyAssistant got us in compliance, quickly. We now have a central location to store policies, documents and safety manuals that are accessible in the field as well as the office. We also appreciate the online training offer, 100% of our staff have taken at least the required training and greater than 50% have taken new additional training that would have been out of budget due to time and location of live training. The online training is easy to follow, does not allow the user to skip questions and the final exam is challenging. I feel confident that my staff is better trained because of mySafetyAssistant. ### 39. We are more organized, efficient, and timely with our safety documentation by using the app as opposed to the old fashioned paper process.
