It's great being reminded and not having to worry about double checking dates for when things need to be done. It takes a lot of stress away from keeping tabs on everyone's training and the numerous inspections that need to be done periodically. ### 2. The customer support is OUTSTANDING. The integration of the program was straight forward and the employees enjoy it better than the last software we had. Concerns get dealt with in a timely manner. The same day or within a few days. Not 2 weeks like other support groups. They listen to your suggestions and implement them based on the quantity of similar requests. It is simple to create a course using the LMS system and powerpoint slides. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** The use of 1Life is twofold. It is used for Safety AND Quality. The ability to export quality form details into a spreadsheet, other than what shows on the screen, is nonexistent but customer support has agreed to build that into their future modifications. The ability to manipulate the data in a spreadsheet is important. Graphs can be built etc. It would be great if the mobile interface was the same as the web interface. Our company inputs many forms per day and syncing can be frustrating from a time perspective. The software does not have the ability to easily upload videos unless a private YouTube account is created and then a link is inserted. Dropdown lists are not available in forms which makes the forms longer than they need to be but the modification is in the works. Entering photos into the forms is not possible at this time. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** When 1Life resolves the dropdown list concern and I am able to export details of my forms into a spreadsheet, it will save me an extreme amount of time each week. ### 4. I had some hesitation regarding getting all of our forms and documents into an easy to use system and the amount of time that was going to take. Once we started and were able to see how easy it was to build out a form it was stress free and happened to come to gether all pretty quickly! We were able to do a soft launch with a few employees and then after a few weeks we rolled the app out in a H&S meeting with our whole crew and we've had great feedback in the field! We've heard feedback regarding it's easy to use, streamlined, and now that everyone is comfortable using it daily it takes less time and its more organized. Accoutability of employees for completing their assigned tasks has improved significantly (prior when it was on paper employees had the mindset of out of sight out of mind and now that a task sits there waiting for you to complete we've noticed huge improvements and quick turn around time.) Being able to use he scheudler to sent reoccuring events/forms out has been a game changer !! And reaching out when we had questions was very simple and we have always been provided a quick and helpful response! David has been wonderful to work with! Would recommend 1Life to any organization looking to implement their H&S System online, would even refer those that are happy with paper too as they don't know what they're missing out on! **What do you dislike about 1Life?** We haven't expereinced any downsides of using 1Life, wish we would have switched earlier! **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping track of paperwork, having to personally track inspections/forms/hazard asessments and that they are being completed and returned to the office. All IFLRAs are being submitted and you can see them in real time once submitted. it's very easy to see who ha an outstanding task. The scheduler automated the process of tracking dates and has made things consistent. ### 5. The platform itself also continues to make improvements that are ongoing to always make things better for the end-users. From an operational standpoint, the ability for the 1Life system to manage safety training records, provide training modules to employees to meet regulatory requirements, offer preexisting forms that adhere to legislation, offer accurate knowledge-based tutorials for web admins to better utilize the system, ect. has proven to be a huge asset to our organization. The platform itself provides all the necessary framework to build and manage all aspects of our SMS. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** Not really a dislike for the platform itself but from a web administrator’s perspective, the more work put in up front really pays dividends as use of the system progresses. 1Life can more easily manage documents and make them available to everyone at the same time so less organizational time is necessary to complete work. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using the platform for safety as well as other purposes. Adding watchers to certain documents automatically generates notifications for applicable parties and other features like the scheduler offers effective tools in ensuring certain work/trainings are being completed. Prior to 1Life the documents were in paper forms and spent considerable time finding and filing them in the correct location. Automated forms have really made the flow of information in our organization better and can see the work being done in almost real-time and not just assume it is completed. ### 6. As an administrator I really like the new interface for the desktop, It makes monitoring my employees and our safety program simple and concise. We work as a subcontractor to some of the big G.C.'s in Winnipeg and without 1life I don't think we would have the ability to keep up with the ever evolving safety requirements. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** Some small technical glitches/problems like text being erased in a form, trouble syncing or the app crashing and some abrupt changes to user permissions/fuctions have forced a change in how I utilize the system. We also had a great deal of consulting hours contracted which have been slow or difficult to use up since the move away from consulting to focus on software (i.e. our Dropped Object Prevetion Program). **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** Archiving and digital storage of safety documentation, synced app which allows real time submission of reports/documents among all employees, a medium for all workers to have access to up to date training/documentation/etc. whenever they need, without needing to lug around an old dusty binder that might be out of date. Ability to include and attach photographic evidence is a big one and more necessary than ever in current construction. ### 7. The support we received through consults, their vast knowledge in workplace safety, and understanding of being a productive business helped us to acheive and maintian our COR certification. mySafetyAssistant has been an amazing tool, providing many features such as pre-made training, the ability to create custom training lessons, and an easy way to track all of our training and forms. These programs are used daily by our working staff to complete forms and access required info for their tasks and jobsites. Implementation and integration was a game changer for us, with the exception of getting people to actually use it and abandon the paper forms, it has made our safety program an easy to manage system. 1Life has built a great team and it is always a positive experience when dealing with them! **What do you dislike about 1Life?** My least favorite thing about the 1Life program, might be from my own lack of knowledge, notifications could be a little more obvious and more custom reports / dashboard type information. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1Life has provided us with a lot of training software that allows us to train on a flexible schedule and track in a very easy way. mySafetyApp has made form filling, filing, tracking, and recall an easy part of the safety program. I am currently using it for our company which has 18 diffrent locations in MB & SK and over 400 employees. I like that I can review each location seperately as well as being able to look at the entire company. Any time that I have had an questions or issues with the features, the support team and Gynelle have been quick to respond to my requests and solve any problems. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** I love the learning management system for training staff but I wish I could import a power point into the LMS as apposed to creating it existing framework. This is something that would make the software more user friendly. The existing course creating platform works well but it would be way easier if I could import a power point. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** The training and tracking database save me a lot of time and means that I don't need to create a seperate spreadsheet for training and expiration of courses. The nice thing is I can add external courses and training certifcate and just continue to update users when they redo the course. The tracking system allows for me to move more and more towards be paperless and having all of the inspections, training, and documentation digitalized. It is super simple to integrate all of our safety needs into 1 easy to use platform. ### 10. In the beginning it was a tad hard to convert some staff to get into the habit of using the app. They all do daily. This eliminates “Misplaced paperwork” and also hold employees accountably for completing inspections daily or as task changes. The system also allows for an auditor to have all well documented time stamped and not altered required paper work. 1-Life also allows me as a trainer to keep accurate and current training records with reminders of upcoming training. Well worth the investment. Gynelle and her team have been incredible to us and helping us make sure that we are set up and using the software correctly. It also has options for us to try and push the limits and use the software for things you wouldn't think of. We are currently trying to set up a pilot project on it for renting equipment and attaching a contract/getting a signature. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** There is a learning curve to it, very minor dislike but teaching some of our older employees who don't like technology has been tough but that is more an in-house issue then a complaint. **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is our safety tool, it does everything we need it to. The staff at 1life have been very informative and offer training and guidance when needed. **What do you dislike about 1Life?** Being able to pick and choose what features you would like to have on one specific plan would be ideal instead of having to stick to a certain plan. Would benefit us as a smaller company that may need not all of the features. Not enough options when creating a form as well as the scheduling tool can be confusing at times. When filling out a form it would be cool if the workers were able to submit a link(hyperlink) so i can click on it as a manager and see what they were reviewing (like a safety video for a safety talk, or a OSH news article they found online) **What problems is 1Life solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing Forms.
