1871 provided space for me to work out of for many months a few years ago.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 1871?

That you could find a quiet space to work from. Unlike any other workspace I have ever seen. Bring your ear buds; it gets noisy.

But it has the best (and quirkiest) art gallery lining the hidden hallways. Be sure to roam; you never know what you’re going to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1871?

The bro culture. I disliked the who is who type vibe. It could be more open to ideas and innovators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering 1871:

Do things to attract technical people. It can be a loud and disorganized place to work. Where post notes for mobile apps all over the place is a real distraction from actually building anything tech-related, so I think it is more of business development and product development space for people who like to talk and be in meetings. What do you like best about 1871?

The recruiters and resources provided were awesome! I turned down several opportunities that were not the 'right' one, and still my recruiter was actively looking and trying to help me land a fit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because it’s so good for networking and events, I’ve found it tough to do actual work there. I often find every few minutes you see someone you know and either have a mini conversation or stop to give them a nod, which still pulls you away from your work. So, just something to be aware of.
