When you form your LLC and they call after the fact, they expect you to be making enough money already to cover a $3,000/year accounting bill. Kind of obscene considering other reviews I’ve seen about the company. Very pushy and try to use scare tactics to drive the sale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 1-800Accountant?

What do you dislike about 1-800Accountant?

Over the last four months I've had four different Tax Advisors, multiple meetings cancelled last minute, can't get responses to questions I message my Advisor, and can only schedule 30 minute meetings like once every 2 weeks. So imagine trying to figure this all out on your own for the first time, paying for support, and then basically not being able to get ahold of anyone that is actually supposed to give you the support. I would not recommend this service for anyone who expects them to have a strong hands-on approach with you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing. Awful, chaotic, time suck of a mistake Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 1-800Accountant?

Ugh, the chaos. I have been a customer for 23 LONG days and am now asking for a full refund. This is NOT for solopreneurs, and I can't imagine it would be a good fit for anyone. I am frustrated at the lack of communication when I attempted to salvage the relationship - no one responded. You did me a favor.

P.S. Beware if they tell you you can get a refund if you cancel with them within the first 30 days. They are keeping $692 for my 23 days with them, for which I have received no services (!!!!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 1-800Accountant solving and how is that benefiting you?

1-800Accountant has cost me time and money. And they're the gift that keeps on giving because they've left me without an accountant at the moment that my taxes are due, so coming up - fees and penalties on my taxes due to their negligence. I used 1-800Accountant to do both my business (S Corp.) and my personal taxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about 1-800Accountant?

The thing I liked the most was the messaging and chat feature that allows you to directly send messages to your accountant. They are not always quick to respond, but they do eventually get back to you. I also like the ability to schedule an appointment with the accountant if you have that service available to you. What do you dislike about 1-800Accountant?

The account reconciliation features are not the easiest to navigate and the reports feature is also not the greatest. I've used some other online accounting software for small businesses that are much more user-friendly and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 1-800Accountant solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was able to file my business and personal taxes through them this year, but both were late and I had to file extensions. They didn't do a great job of letting me know when things needed to be submitted to them to give them enough time to make sure the documents were submitted to the IRS on time.
