I have been a Text Expander user for a few years and was always annoyed by how little development this app has seen in terms of UI and usability. It feels outdated, and there were a few things that really bothered me. That’s why, when I discovered the Slashit app, I decided to give it a try, and so far, so good.
The design makes the app really easy to understand and get started with. One area for improvement would be to clarify the difference between templates and shortcuts. Once you’ve used the app for a while, it becomes obvious, but at the beginning, it took me some time to understand the difference.
The text replacement for shortcuts is fast and satisfactory, everything’s good on that front. However, the templates feature needs some development to be fully usable. But the team is very active on their Discord channel, which gives me confidence that the platform is under active development and issues like these will be fixed soon.
I haven’t tested the AI capabilities yet, so I can’t comment on them—but I didn’t purchase this product for those features anyway. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
It still feels like a product that’s in development, and there are a few issues they need to address before it can really be great. Avis collecté par et hébergé sur G2.com.
