# Which Point of Sale solutions integrate payment processing without creating customer transaction issues?

Toast, Square Point of Sale, and Clover top the list here.

The failure case I’d test is what happens when the payment succeeds but something else in the transaction doesn’t. Duplicate charges, missing orders, failed refunds, and a POS showing a different state from the processor are much harder on staff than a simple declined card. Has anyone seen meaningful differences between these systems in how cleanly they recover when a transaction gets interrupted halfway through?
