# What's the most trusted electronic data interchange (EDI) software by operations teams, based on user reviews?

Most vendor pages for electronic data interchange (EDI) software make the same reliability claims, so what's actually most trusted by operations teams among EDI software, based on user reviews, is hard to answer without reading past the pricing page yourself. Here's what surfaced going through that category with an operations lens:

SPS Commerce Fulfillment EDI: Tracks EDI transactions from multiple retail partners in one place, with document visibility and export features that operations teams use to research purchase orders, ASNs, and invoices when resolving discrepancies.

Cleo Integration Cloud: Handles complex integration scenarios, including file transfers, APIs, and business processes, from one centralized cloud platform, with one team crediting it for moving them off a harder-to-scale on-premise setup entirely.

TrueCommerce EDI: Eliminates manual order entry through fast, reliable processing, with one company describing it as a one-stop hub for integrating all trading partners into their ERP as the business grew.

eZCom Software EDI: Automates document processing for purchase orders, shipments, and invoices, with retailer onboarding and setup described as generally smooth even against complex EDI compliance requirements.

All four get described as reliable for the core job. Where they seem to differ, based on how people describe day to day use, is how much ongoing manual work remains once new trading partners get added to the mix.

For operations teams who've onboarded a new trading partner recently, how much of that setup did your own team handle versus needing the vendor's support team involved at every step? And once live, did growing transaction volume ever require real re-architecture, or did the platform scale cleanly on its own?

I’d look closely at how much partner onboarding still depends on vendor support. A platform may scale transaction volume well, but if every new trading partner requires hands-on configuration, the operational burden can grow quickly.
