# What are the best Retail POS platforms for organizations seeking rapid deployment and adoption?

I've been researching what are the best Retail POS platforms for organizations seeking rapid deployment and adoption, since a POS rollout that drags on costs a retailer real money in lost transaction time. Square Point of Sale, Lightspeed Retail, and Clover are the three most cited for getting up and running fast.

Staff adoption would probably be the bigger variable after the technical setup is complete. I’d test how quickly a new employee can complete the everyday workflows — sale, return, discount, inventory lookup, and end-of-shift tasks — without assistance. A POS that can technically go live in a day only delivers rapid adoption if frontline staff can use it confidently just as quickly.
