# Best software for integrating ERP with MES systems based on G2 Data

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hey everyone,</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I’ve been helping a few manufacturing teams streamline data flow between their ERP and MES systems — basically bridging what’s planned vs. what’s happening on the shop floor. I looked through <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/discrete-erp">G2’s latest Discrete ERP</a> data and user reviews to see which platforms are best known for smooth MES integrations. Sharign this with the community so that it helps. Here’s what stood out:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/microsoft-microsoft-dynamics-365-business-central/reviews"><strong>Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central</strong></a>: integrates well with MES solutions through APIs and connectors; great for mid-sized manufacturers looking for flexibility.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/netsuite/reviews"><strong>NetSuite</strong></a><strong>: </strong>strong cloud-based ERP with solid integration capabilities across MES, inventory, and production tracking systems.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/sap-s-4hana-cloud/reviews"><strong>SAP S/4HANA Cloud</strong></a>: built for complex manufacturing setups; tight native integration with SAP MES and good data flow between planning and production.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/odoo-odoo-erp/reviews"><strong>Odoo ERP</strong></a><strong>:</strong> open-source flexibility makes it ideal if you’re connecting with third-party MES tools; requires some customization but highly adaptable.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/acumatica/reviews"><strong>Acumatica</strong></a><strong>:</strong> modern, API-friendly ERP that works well with cloud MES and IoT-enabled shop-floor data.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/sap-ecc/reviews"><strong>SAP ECC</strong></a><strong>:</strong> older system but still widely used; supports integration with MES through SAP’s manufacturing modules.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">I based this on G2 satisfaction and market presence data, plus user feedback on interoperability and real-time visibility between ERP and MES. anyone here running these setups? what's been your experience? Do share it with the community</p>

&lt;p&gt;Which ERP–MES combo has actually improved your visibility from planning to production? Curious what’s worked (and what hasn’t) in real factories.&lt;/p&gt;
