Remote Support Software Resources

We use Datto for patch management and limited software deployments. We also occasionally will use it to remotely access a workstation.

What is VNC used for? The answer too often is "remote access". Which it shouldn't be used for. It should be used "inside" of an organization/network to get around from place to place, but it should not be allowed access in or out of secure boundaries. For access in/out of secure boundaries you should use other products.

The features of Remote Access in Remote Utilities include secure and seamless connection to remote desktops, file transfer, unattended and attended access modes, cross-platform support, customizable user permissions, and the ability to run tasks and execute commands on the remote machine. Additionally, it provides options for communication such as text, voice, and video chat, and advanced features like multi-monitor support, session recording, and remote printing.
