Ninja handles patching and third-party software management, along with an integrated ticketing system and full control of scripting. It also integrates with remote control software such as Splashtop and Connectwise Control (my personal favorite). TLDR; yes, ninja is pretty fleshed out in features. There is no great solution when you're dealing with slow internet, however, I like that TeamViewer will scale the quality up and down depending on your connection speed. I've used teamviewer over a cell phone connection plenty of times, and, while the experience is a bit slow, it works great and certainly beats any alternative I've worked with.

Make them regular users. Do not make their accounts administrators.
