Atlas by TetraSoft

Public oil and gas data is complete but scattered. Every state publishes wells, production, permits, inspections and waste, but each one does it in a different portal, on a different schedule, with inconsistent site and operator identifiers. Assembling one operator's position, or one well's full history, is a manual reconciliation job. Atlas removes that step. It is a browser-based map of US onshore oil and gas that carries 2.6 million wells across eight states: Texas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, New Mexico, Wyoming and Colorado, with the rest of the US coming soon. Search by operator, county, well name or API number and the well opens with its record attached, not a link to another portal. What is attached varies by what the state publishes, and Atlas shows the depth each state actually supports rather than flattening them to a common denominator. Colorado carries facility-level regulatory profiles including emissions, equipment inventory, enforcement history and gas analysis. Texas carries production history and pipeline data. Oklahoma adds injection records and induced-seismicity data. Pennsylvania carries DEP production, inspections and waste. The data refreshes on a monthly cycle from the agency sources. Atlas is built by TetraSoft, a Colorado State University spinout, and is used by operators, consultants, landmen, environmental teams and analysts who need a defensible answer faster than a portal-by-portal search allows.
