Chargewood

Chargewood answers chargebacks for US online merchants. When a customer disputes a payment, the bank sets a deadline and a list of evidence it will accept. Most of that evidence already exists: what was ordered, when it shipped, where it went, whether the customer logged in and used what they paid for, what they bought before. Chargewood connects to the tools you already run — Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Gmail, Zendesk and more — and reads that record. For each dispute it decides whether it's worth fighting, and says so when it isn't: your dispute ratio is worth more than any single case. When it is, it writes the response to the reason code and the card network's rules and files it before the deadline. Nothing is a black box. Every dispute shows the evidence used, the reasoning behind the verdict and the full response text. Run it fully automatic, or hold every response for your approval. Either way, a person at Chargewood checks each response before it goes out, and every action is logged. App Store and Google Play work differently: Apple and Google decide refunds themselves. Chargewood answers their consumption and refund requests inside Apple's 12-hour and Google's 24-hour windows, from a policy you set once. Pricing: 20% of what we recover on the disputes we submit, and nothing when we don't win. No monthly fee, no minimum. Disputes on Shopify Payments are free. Fixed pricing is available for volume.

Nobody in-house has to write fraud rules or work through a manual review queue. Here’s what you get with ClearSale: ClearSale Complete Decision with Chargeback Guarantee Complete Decision approves good orders automatically, blocks fraud, and sends suspicious orders to an expert analyst. Every decision draws on five layers of protection: AI models, fraud rules, ClearSale’s global fraud database, external data sources, and secondary human review. If ClearSale approves an order that later turns into a fraud chargeback, ClearSale covers the loss. Fewer false declines Suspicious orders get a closer look from an analyst instead of an automatic decline. Good customers get through checkout, and you keep the sale. End-to-end chargeback management with ChargebackOps When chargebacks do come in, ChargebackOps, part of ClearSale, handles the whole process from first dispute to final recovery. Its analysts investigate each case and build the response, and no integration is needed to get started. Brand Protection Around-the-clock monitoring watches for phishing, fake social media profiles, data leaks, counterfeit products, and other scams that use your brand. When a threat turns up, ClearSale works to take it down. Works with your ecommerce platform The ClearSale app integrates with virtually every ecommerce platform, including Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Magento, through a simple download or API. Most teams are live within days. Results merchants can measure Level5 Tools, a family-owned drywall tool manufacturer selling on BigCommerce, had its customer service team deciding on risky orders by hand. Its chargeback rate had reached 2.1%, and it approved only about 90% of orders. Within eight months on ClearSale Complete Decision with Chargeback Guarantee, Level5 was approving close to 99% of orders each month, a 9.8% increase in its average monthly approval rate. Its chargeback rate dropped 90% to 0.21%, and it paid $0 for fraudulent chargebacks. Those results held through Level5’s annual March promotion, when order volume more than doubles. “Working with ClearSale has allowed us to work more efficiently. Accurate order decisions happen quickly, our customers get the tools they need, and we no longer have to worry about chargeback costs or our chargeback ratio. ClearSale is the right tool for our fraud prevention and customer experience needs.” Christy Prokosch, Customer Service Supervisor at Level5 Tools Get a free fraud assessment and see how many more good orders your store could be approving.

No invoice required. - Customer pay links (card, Apple Pay/Google Pay, ACH, Cash App) with Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay financing for big tickets. - Cards on file for repeat customers, fast field invoicing, receipts, refunds, and recorded cash. - Smart Alerts (Control and Close plans): arrival is detected and the tech gets a one-tap prompt with the right job and amount. - Reconcaile (Close plan): AI matching of payments to jobs and invoice drafting from job history. TradePay works alongside Jobber, Joist and QuickBooks. Keep them for scheduling and invoicing, and use TradePay for the collection step. Payments run through Stripe Connect straight to your bank. TradePay never holds the money, and card data never touches TradePay's servers. Pricing: Collect is free for up to 2 users (per-transaction rates only).
