Chargewood answers chargebacks for US online merchants. When a customer disputes a payment, the bank sets a deadline and a list of evidence it will accept. Most of that evidence already exists: what was ordered, when it shipped, where it went, whether the customer logged in and used what they paid for, what they bought before.
Chargewood connects to the tools you already run — Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Gmail, Zendesk and more — and reads that record. For each dispute it decides whether it's worth fighting, and says so when it isn't: your dispute ratio is worth more than any single case. When it is, it writes the response to the reason code and the card network's rules and files it before the deadline.
Nothing is a black box. Every dispute shows the evidence used, the reasoning behind the verdict and the full response text. Run it fully automatic, or hold every response for your approval. Either way, a person at Chargewood checks each response before it goes out, and every action is logged.
App Store and Google Play work differently: Apple and Google decide refunds themselves. Chargewood answers their consumption and refund requests inside Apple's 12-hour and Google's 24-hour windows, from a policy you set once.
Pricing: 20% of what we recover on the disputes we submit, and nothing when we don't win. No monthly fee, no minimum. Disputes on Shopify Payments are free. Fixed pricing is available for volume.
