There are many phrases, sign-offs, sentences, and pieces of information related to my work and 'life admin' that I previously wrote up to 10 times a week. Those related to my life-admin especially, such as addresses, vehicle registration numbers, passport number, policy numbers, etc, required I look them up through my files and emails. I no longer do that! I simply type a few letters and an email appears, including separate paragraphs, or any other piece of information that I created a snippet for. I love that it functions in ANY software or application. I also use TextExpander to auto-correct certain words I often mistype, similar to the AutoCorrect function in Word. Making snippets is also extremely easy.
