In my experience, NetSuite is one of the best ERP platforms on the market, especially for organizations that need flexibility as their operations grow and change. Its ability to support different business processes, structures, reporting needs, and workflows is a major strength. That flexibility can be easy to underestimate until you run into roadblocks with other systems that are more restrictive or difficult to adapt.
NetSuite also gives organizations meaningful control over how they manage their operations. With thoughtful configuration, clear ownership, and good governance, teams can build processes that fit the business while maintaining appropriate controls. Its potential for AI and automation is promising as well, particularly when those capabilities are introduced with the right oversight, permissions, and review processes in place.
The workflow and processing have improved a lot. My day-to-day duties are much simpler now, with the AI recognizing what we need to see, cutting out most of the data entry, and letting me focus on reviewing instead. Performance with a high volume of bills has also been upgraded, and it has relieved me from having to do so many manual entries.
