Facilitate Note-Taking in Meetings
I use HappyScribe to transcribe meetings, which allows me to take notes without distraction and focus on what is being said by my interlocutors. I find the initial setup of HappyScribe very simple. What I also appreciate is the ability to use HappyScribe in both physical and virtual meetings.

Efficient Transcription with Minor Hiccups
I like how the speaker labeling in HappyScribe handles our interviews, correctly separating hosts from guests most of the time, which makes my job easier as I mostly just confirm rather than assign speakers from scratch. The ability to export in multiple formats is more valuable than I anticipated, because our website and video clips all need different formats, and being able to export from one transcript saves a step in the process. The editor is also very responsive, which is great as scrubbing through long episodes to fix any mistakes doesn't feel cumbersome, and the audio stays locked to the text position, so I always know where I am.

I like that HappyScribe is easy to use across multiple devices. I can use it on my laptop and my mobile phone, which is really handy for recording. The integration with OneDrive is also great, as it allows me to pick up where I left off back in the office. It's convenient to have recordings uploaded and then easily take the output, assign names to different speakers, and create a meeting summary. I also appreciate how well it picks up vocals even with some background noise. Additionally, the interaction between mobile and laptop is seamless, which I find very useful.
