The biggest improvement for me is having payroll, time, prevailing wage, and certified payroll connected instead of having to piece everything together manually. Before Hammr, a lot of my time was spent checking hours, moving data between systems, fixing spreadsheets, and making sure everything lined up before payroll could be processed. Now I can review most of that information in one place and catch issues before payroll is submitted. Certified payroll is also much easier. Instead of treating it like a separate process after payroll, the information is already there and the reports are much quicker to prepare. I also appreciate how responsive the Hammr team is. Payroll issues are usually time-sensitive, and when I have a question I can get help from someone who understands both the product and our setup.

I use Hammr for all our payroll functions, including PTO, benefits, and Certified Payroll reports, and it makes them simple and easy to handle, allowing us to focus on other areas of our work. I like the detailed layer Hammr adds to our financial reporting with its Certified Payroll and labor tracking to jobs, increasing accuracy. What I like most about Hammr is its customer service; I appreciate being able to talk with an actual person over the phone or email and get a quick response. Hammr's flexibility in handling state requirements and Prevailing Wage rate adjustments is also a great help, as they assist us swiftly when issues arise. The setup process was pretty smooth, and Hammr is easy to learn and navigate through.

Before Hammr, we were running everything through ADP, which simply wasn’t built for a specialty contractor like us. Our field guys actually like the app, onboarding is easy, and even benefits/open enrollment was incredibly smooth. But the support is probably my favorite part. We have actual people who know our company and listen when we need something — no submitting a ticket into the abyss and praying. Payroll is easier, our field guys are happy, and our leadership has better visibility. Somehow Hammr got an entire construction company to agree on software. That’s an accomplishment in itself.
