I like that Hammr combines time tracking and payroll into one system, making it easier for me since I used to manage these through two separate systems. I also appreciate that any improvement ideas I have are listened to and responded to, which is nice. They did all the initial setup for me too.

We are still relatively new to Hammr, with less than a year on the platform, but we are already seeing improvements in the efficiency of our processes. Certified payroll reporting and tracking were key reasons we decided to subscribe and use the software. Beyond payroll, Hammr has helped streamline onboarding, support our efforts to standardize field daily reports, give employees an easy-to-use app for time tracking, and improve project costing for labor burdens. We are still learning the ins and outs of Hammr, but whenever we have questions, the support team is extremely responsive, which is invaluable when the clock is ticking for payroll. Hammr has also made it easy for our field staff to take jobsite photos in the app, so personal camera rolls are not being filled with work photos.

What stands out most to me about Hammr is how responsive and collaborative their team is. When a customer has a unique requirement, they don’t just point us to a standard process and say, “This is how the system works.” Instead, they take the time to understand the customer’s workflow and work with us to find a solution that genuinely fits their needs.<br><br>A good example was a customer who needed job costing data synced into Sage Intacct based on hours worked. The Hammr team partnered closely with us to clarify the requirement and, in the end, developed an approach that supported that specific use case. That kind of hands-on partnership isn’t something you get from every software provider.<br><br>I’m also impressed by how intuitive the platform is, especially given the complexity of construction payroll. With pay rates, jobs, cost codes, labor tracking, and payroll requirements, there are a lot of moving pieces to manage. Hammr does a great job of simplifying those complexities and making the process easier for customers to handle day to day.
