Seamless Google Integration, Flexible Models, Room to Improve Latency

|Gemini platform
I like that Gemini platform lets us use different strategies and appropriate models, and supports textual as well as media processing and handling. It fits well into our Google Services ecosystem, is easy to test, and doesn’t cost a lot since it’s not a standalone product. I find its console useful for tracking and improving our implementation. Since we already use Google and Gemini products, the initial setup is seamless and a huge advantage.

Exceptional long-context window and reliable multimodal assistance for daily engineering workflows

|Gemini
The standout feature of Gemini is undoubtedly its massive context window combined with robust multimodal understanding. In our development environment, I regularly feed it extensive technical documentation, lengthy architectural diagrams, and multi-file codebases (tens of thousands of lines) in a single prompt. Unlike other models that suffer from severe 'needle in a haystack' degradation, Gemini retrieves precise logic and context seamlessly. Furthermore, its integration with Google services and high reasoning speed make it an indispensable daily research companion for debugging and system design.
