1) We use Dexatel for plan renewal reminders, usage alerts, service updates and subscriber verification. These messages are triggered by events in our billing and subscriber systems, so the API needs to handle different types of traffic without us managing each one separately.
2) The pricing was usually clear during our evaluation. Dexatel has a calculator on its website where we could select the destination and expected volume and get an initial estimate. We still needed a custom discussion for our larger volumes but at least we had a realistic starting point before speaking with sales.

WE originally signed up because we needed a reliable way to send OTPs for new user registrations. That was the only reason at first. After a few months, we started using it for onboarding messages and product updates as well, simply because it was easier than adding another tools.

We mainly use Dexatel for OTPs, login verification and account notifications. It was quite easy for our developers to connect the API with our application and now the messages are sent automatically based on what the user is doing.<br><br>We can also check the delivery status from the dashboard, which is useful when a customer says they didn’t receive a code or notification.
