The customer journey builder was the biggest workflow improvement for us. Before Dengage, launching a multi-channel flow (push + email + SMS with behavioral triggers like cart abandonment or price-drop alerts) required developer tickets and days of back-and-forth. With Dengage's drag-and-drop canvas, our CRM team built and shipped these flows themselves — campaign launch time dropped from about a week to same-day in many cases. For an e-commerce operation, segmentation speed matters, and Dengage handled our large user base well. Real-time behavioral segments (browsed category X, purchased in last 30 days, cart value above threshold) calculated quickly even during peak shopping periods like November campaigns, and send throughput never became a bottleneck on high-traffic days. The remote segment feature deserves special mention. It let us query tables directly from our own data warehouse and use them as segments in Dengage — with zero additional integration work or ETL pipelines. Whenever we shipped a new feature on our platform, we could build segments on the fresh DWH tables the same day and start taking action immediately, instead of waiting for events to be instrumented and synced. This dramatically shortened the loop between "new data exists" and "campaign is live." On the integration side, the REST API and mobile SDKs are well documented and consistent. Each of my three implementations went smoother and faster than the last, and syncing product catalog data, order events, and user attributes from our backend was straightforward. Webhooks made connecting our internal tools painless. Support was a genuine differentiator: fast response times, and engineers who actually investigated our specific setup rather than sending templated replies. During one SDK migration they worked through an event pipeline edge case with us across multiple sessions until it was fully resolved. AI features added measurable value once data volume built up — send-time optimization improved our push open rates, and we used engagement scoring to suppress fatigued users, which had the unexpected benefit of reducing our app uninstall rate.

I like D·engage for its ease of use, which allows me to launch campaigns very quickly and get results in time. I appreciate its data management capabilities and how it excels in omnichannel journey orchestration. The initial setup was also very easy, which I found beneficial.

The new smart tags and Conversational Chatbot features really rock. It made earier for us to become aware of both our prospects and customers' realtime intentions and interact with them through chatbot.
