Effortless Task Management, Needs Accessibility Tweaks

I really like Asana's ease of use and good organization. It helps me a lot with much better organization, providing a single source of truth where even tasks can be represented within more than one project. I appreciate being able to capture and add tasks quickly on the fly and organize and add more details later.

A Clear, At-a-Glance Pitch Tracker for Freelance Writers

I freelance write and pitch story ideas to a handful of different publications, and I used to genuinely lose track of who I'd already pitched what to, embarrassing enough that I once followed up with an editor about a pitch she'd already rejected two months earlier because I'd forgotten. Set up a board with a task per pitch, custom field for which publication, status for pitched, in discussion, rejected, or accepted, and now I can see at a glance exactly where every single idea stands instead of relying on my own spotty memory. Caught myself about to send a pitch to an editor I'd already gotten a no from on that exact topic, would've been a second embarrassing moment if I hadn't checked first.

Automated Dependency Rules Keep Renovation Schedules on Track

I do small scale home renovations and dependencies used to be something only I kept track of in my head, painter can't start till tile's done, tile can't start till the plumber's finished, that kind of chain. If tile ran a few days late, nothing automatically told the painter's task to shift too, so I'd sometimes only catch it when the painter actually showed up to a job that wasn't ready. Set up a rule so when a task marked as a dependency gets pushed back, everything downstream automatically shifts its due date too instead of quietly staying wrong until someone notices in person.
